We could not recommend Alto enough, they were amazing from day one all the way up until after our event. Their professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility, ability to think of things we hadn’t even thought of were second to none. The food, drinks & service on the night were spectacular. The food was more than enough. Our event turned out exactly as planned if not better. Thank you a million times!!!

From the moment we inquired to have our wedding at Alto, Caroline and Chloe were so amazing to deal with! They helped us plan the layout, suggested what works best in terms of layout and menu items and were so accomodating to all our requests! We had the best night because of them and all the staff on the night were fantastic too! All of our guests were complimenting the space and how well everything was run by the staff. Thanks again for giving us the most perfect night!

The staff at Alto was amazing! From Chloe, the venue coordinator, who was incredibly professional and easy to work with, to Bec, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. All of the staff were so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding night.

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than Alto! It exceeded all our expectations in every way possible. Thank you to the entire team at Alto for making our wedding day truly unforgettable!

I can’t speak highly enough of The Park. We hosted our NYE wedding here and nothing was too difficult for the venue. Our wedding coordinator Mariana was amazing - so kind and helpful and organised! And out on the night coordinator Ella was also amazing. The staff were so attentive to all of our guests. The food was delicious and the venue was just fantastic. Thank you for helping making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Highly recommend this venue!!

The dining experience at Bank Bar Restaurant on Collins Street was exquisite. The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful, paired beautifully with savory sides (chips & salad). The portions were huge. Just remind that they dont have takeaway.
The cream brûlées with citrus flavor was an absolute delight, striking the right balance between smoothness and the caramelized top garnished with orange peels.
The ambiance was elegant with a great view of Collins street.
The service was great. Staffs were so kindly and polite.

Nice venue but service is terrible. Waitress lost the order, no table service and then had to chase and chase to get our food delivered. Eventually arranged our drinks directly at the bar. Could forgive the lost order, but not the total disregard to make it right. Banks on Collins, you could absolutely do better! Quality of food affected by rush together it out too.

Havent eaten here but its my fav spot to see the sunset along the lake.

Extremely Appalling Experience at The Bank on Collins.

I visited the venue on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, around 5:55 pm, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While patiently waiting at the bar, I encountered some concerning incidents.

The manager, Iza, displayed a lack of professionalism when she rudely instructed me to move to another location. Despite this, Mia, a staff member, kindly apologized for the wait.

Upon expressing my concerns about the manager's behavior in a non-confrontational manner, I was met with dismissive comments from the red-haired bartender, Alan. He suggested I should go easy on the manager, citing her second language as a reason. I emphasized that English is also my second language, and such an excuse is not acceptable. To my surprise, Alan's response was to direct me towards the exit, stating, "If you're not happy, the door is that way."

I sought confirmation from the manager, who did not deny the bartender's sentiment. This raises serious questions about the establishment's commitment to hospitality.

Adding to the disappointment, the overall atmosphere upon entering the venue was unwelcoming. With the exception of Mia, none of the staff seemed interested in providing a positive experience.

In summary, my visit to The Bank on Collins left me questioning the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. Mia was the sole beacon of warmth and competence in an otherwise disappointing experience.

Very beautiful venue. The food provided was delicious especially the pork belly entree 😍. The fat melted in my mouth.
This venue is very hygienic and there is plenty of space inside if you want to book an event for a large sum of people. My favourite aspect of the place is the windows because the sun shines through and you can watch the sunset.

For an up market looking location and fit out, this place flatters to deceive. The food menu is predominantly pub style classics with free surprises. Having said that, what they do is pretty decent and you won't be disappointed with what you ordered. The bar area is probably the highlight as it's quite large and imposing in the room. There are also balcony seats with a second smaller bar area upstairs if you are a fan of watching others eat from on high.

Tried the express lunch menu. Good location, with patient staff. Top environment and OK food.

The Park was a fantastic choice for our conference gala dinner. The spacious decor, attentive staff and breathtaking views made it a standout venue. Highly recommended!

WOW! Thank you so much for a great event on Friday at A Night At The Business Table 2023. The team was great, operationally everything ran so well and everything in the lead up. Even all the little last minute changes were accommodated, with ease!
And the set up....speechless guys! We had a number of VIP guests and hosts at this event, so we wanted to be sure we picked the perfect venue and I can say hands down, this was the perfect venue. Beautiful venue and lovely staff!

They were very accommodating to all our needs and made sure our event ran smoothly. The food was delicious and catered well to all the dietary requirements of our guests.

Our event manager, Ella, was incredibly bubbly and helpful, she definitely made the event feel a lot less stressful to run and checked in with us multiple times throughout the setup, event, and pack down.

Kate, the functions manager working with us, was also a pleasure to work with over email and incredibly accommodating.

Overall, we would recommend this venue to anyone.

The functions rooms were fantastic, large space, Stage, Well equipped toilets, Bar and outside undercover area, Smoking/vaping area. Close to accommodation, The city and Albert Park Lake.

We had our wedding at Alto in August 2022. Vicki, Caroline and the Damm Fine Food team were such a joy to work with in the leadup to our wedding and on the day. They made the process easy and stress-free, and the day went off without a hitch. The space looked absolutely incredible - it was everything we hoped it would be. And to top it all off, the food was amazing. We can't thank them enough!

Both the environment and the food were perfect. It’s a big space with fabulous interior decoration, which is perfect for after-work dinner and drinks. The happy hour starts about 4 or 5 cuz I didn’t see it clearly.
It’s really a good place for people working and living around with totally reasonable price.

The Bank was a great place to have dinner. The starters were amazing and very tasty. The chicken ribs were amazing and so were the pork sliders. I would also commend on the excellent cocktails on offer.

Service was top notch and never felt rushed for a late Monday evening. Stella was courteous and happy to oblige to many adhoc requests. She was exemplary in her manners and made our day! Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As soon as we stepped into ALTO for the first time, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. The Melbourne CBD backdrop creates such an awesome atmosphere, and this is complemented by the intimate, modern and classy nature of this venue.

Words cannot describe how amazing the ALTO staff were, both leading up to the wedding, and also on the day. Planning a wedding throughout a global pandemic is not an easy task, and yet the ALTO staff were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. The communication was perfect – always prompt and extremely transparent/detailed.

The food and drinks were immaculate – and all guests were blown away by the quality of service.

I held my 30th birthday at Alto in July and is was such great night. The venue is beautiful, in a great location and the city views at night are amazing. The staff present on the night were perfect, everything ran so smoothly and the guests were even commenting on how good the service was. The food was very well presented and delicious! I must also mention our event manager Tevany. She is a credit to the company and made the entire experience stress free.
