My grandmother lives here. The trash cans are always over run, furniture left outside as garbage, the grass looks like it hasn’t been cut in months, water leaks from the upstairs apartment in her bathroom above her tub, her oven doesn’t work only the stove top, the A/C unit doesn’t work so she had to get a window unit, and her sink in the kitchen leaks. There are squatters in empty apartments and management literally appears to be doing nothing about them. There are maintenance men right now so nothing gets fixed and management changes every 6 months
I'm trying to bring all my paperwork because I was approved hadn't been in office and they have my money
This place is not fit for anyone to live in I was visiting my hometown and was just disgusted when I saw how the apartments look this use to be a nice place years ago sad how they look now
The North wood apartments on Grimmett dr. In Shreveport are some tearable apartments. They pay electricity but there air conditioners don’t work you have to buy a window air conditioner. My friend lives over there she been having problems with bees for the time she have been living there, she can’t put in a window air conditioner because of the bees, they are right under her window other tenants say those bees been growing there for about 5 years they can’t get the manager to do anything she have talked with them about this problem for every since she been living there for about 4 months or so now, all manager says is the money not in there budget.
My husband just viewed his credit report we lived in there for 2 weeks in the "back area" mold,rats and a refrigerate that didn't work this place was disgusting we moved out and was told we won't have any fees so due to all the issues I'm call the health department we refuse to pay 3,000 plus for 2 weeks living with rats, mold I may need to file a civil lawsuit thanks 👍🏾👍🏾 GRAND OAKS
Recently was looking for an apartment and I stopped by here and the manager was so pleasant Ms. Turner went over all my options and the property was a excellent choice for the area I need to be in highly recommend

I’ve been here since 2021 and don’t get me wrong I loved it here up until December 2022. I lived in an upstairs unit and was coming down the stairs with my child in my hand and the step broke in half. Thankfully he was fine because I prevented us both from falling but my ankle was swollen due to this. I reported this to management and an incident report was made and upper management was also notified. It is now august and I’ve yet to hear from anyone about what they are going to do about this. I have sent pictures in as well as the documentation from the doctors office. I have seen numerous emails that were sent to upper management and they have not responded to them. Let me not forget to add, the steps were never repaired. They only put a wood plank there to repair it. As of today, the third step has started to break as well. (PICTURES ARE INCLUDED) Washers and dryers are outdated. All washers work but only 1/4 dryers are good in the main washroom. Also, due to a shooting my apartment had bullet holes in it that were never fixed as well. Maintenance is great they definitely try their hardest. However, there is always a new manager and the prices are out of control for no reason. There are no W/D connections, no pool, no playground for the kids, and no real structure. Only thing I can brag on is the size of the apartment itself honestly. I wouldn’t refer anyone to live here.
This place needs attention!! And the new manager needs some human relations courses, she's so rude!! They overcharged a tenant 715.00 for moving fees, for what?? The apartment wasn't even clean!!

I would not recommend anyone to live in this apartment complex. They don’t do any maintenance and if they do it takes years. It is ridiculous. They let the dumpsters overflow with trash. The grounds are not kept up. There was a shooting that took place at these apartment complexes not long ago. There is mold all in the apartment from leaks. All in all not a safe or healthy place to live. It is disgusting.
Where do I begin. I would leave a zero if I could. We spent about 3 years at this complex. Due to financial burdens we had no choice but to continue to live there. Went through 3 property managers. I have small children and took over a year to fix ac in the apartment. Was pretty much forced to provide myself with air to make it livable. Leak after leak happened and was fixed on their time. Leaks caused mold throughout the apartment and was told about the mold and nothing ever done. We had a hole under our sink with insulation pulled out from a plumber fixing a leak but the hole was never fixed. A leak in my kids bathroom caused mold in a cabinet above the toilet and the cabinet was taken out but never put one back.the rent we paid was included with a washer and dryer and we were told we could fix it ourselves if the appliance didnt work or buy a new one but was never compensated for rent on anything. Due to the untimely fashion of fixing leaks multiple towels were ruined and we fixed our own toilet cause it was leaking, multiple times. When we were financially able to leave the property manager felt that we owed money..... not one dime was spent or given. If anything we should be compensated for living conditions we had for our children. The only positive was a manager over the property manager understood our frustration and allowed us to leave with no money owed. The whole complex needs to be condemned.
It's not so much crime over here no more but it is still dangerous over here in these apartment complexs but what I'm dealing with right now is rats rats rats mice mice mice stay away if you can find something better go elsewhere these apartments are ran down and they smell like mold and stinks
Although we didn’t end up renting an apartment because a better opportunity for our family became available, I would recommend that anyone who is searching give their office manager Jordan a call! She was so honest, helpful and considerate of our situation. We have a friend who rented from them so we knew that the apartments themselves were really nice but finding someone who will work with you and go above & beyond like Jordan did was more than we could ask for and definitely makes me feel confident in sharing that I have no doubt anyone would have a positive experience living here. If you are looking for a nice apartment in the North Shreveport/Blanchard area you should really check them out!

Highly recommend these apartments! It's a quiet area. You don't have to go far for food or household essentials. Wal-mart and many other food options are within walking distance. The apartments are very spacious as well.
I‘ve been staying at The Corridor for a couple months now and I must say this place, is home. Jordan the regional manager is awesome! She was so welcoming, outgoing, and helpful when I came for my viewing. She answered every question I had and was very informative. After viewing the apartment I was immediately sold. The high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and spacious open concept had me in a chokehold. Even after moving in Jordan upheld the qualities she showed our first interaction. Maintenance request are processed swiftly and completed in a timely manner. If you’re looking for a home The Corridor is a great place!
I've never been in these apartments but I pass by to catch a city bus, actually on bus route has a stop right in front of the apartments. They do not look very good, boarded up windows and a general state of disarray. Just from what it looks like I would never try to get an apartment here.
Beautiful property! The high ceilings make every other apartment feel small. The hardwood floors are beautiful and match the spacious cabinets. The location is also so perfect for accessing all of SBC via i49.
Beautiful apartments and in an awesome area! I went with a friend to look at these apartments and they are beautiful! Management was very friendly and Blanchard is growing! Great schools and a great place to be! If u are looking for an apartment I highly recommend this place!
My ongoing heat/AC unit, newly installed Summer 2022 has had serious problems since 1st week of October. After numerous calls 4 repair, numerous maintenance "fixes", the problem still exists & I can't use my heat/AC because when breaker's turned on, the main breaker shuts off at outside panel. 7 weeks & unit still isn't working, NO rent adjustments(but I was given a space heater after 2nd wk), office not answering phone calls now.
I have been living here for 2 years and it has its Kinks but when you get them ironed out it's pretty easy to live here just pay your rent get somebody to pay your water and electric and you're fine
I highly recommend Grand Oaks apartments if you looking for somewhere to go and they got a great manager.Mrs. Turner is very professional,make sure everythings in order,make sure her contractors get paid on time and that's why I recommend Grand Oaks apartments.
Seriously, good luck to anyone looking to move in here. Really sad that such a beautiful property is run in one of the most unprofessional manners I’ve seen for this area. I’ve been excitedly looking to move into this complex for a while now. Reached out multiple times unable to contact the office staff. Finally I reached the upper management in Dallas to express my dissatisfaction when I was redirected to visit the leasing office to retrieve a rental application. Upon visiting the office around mid afternoon, the door was locked and the lights were off. After a few minutes, someone walked over with an unprofessional demeanor saying “if no one’s answering by now, then she isn’t there”. This person then asks to help me, which is when I realized it was the office staff I’d been trying to reach. I received a rental application and was told to “call if I had any questions”. I returned to the office two days later with all of the required paperwork and payments around 30 minutes after the office opening hours posted on the door. Once again, the door was locked and the lights were off. I called several times and even left a voicemail on the office line. Even several days later, I have not received a call back. I even contact upper management in Dallas again and left a voicemail with callback information. Still no response from the company rep supervising this property either.

I have been trying for over a month to reach out to management here. The communication is HORRIBLE! Such nice apartments but ran terribly and I hate that. I really wanted to move close to my parents who needed my help and this was expressed to the manager. I was told by servers tenants this but still have it a try. Never get call back never get questions answered I’m highly disappointed and wish I could speak to higher ups about my experience. I will find out because this is NOT OK!!!

I have a friend that lives there I can't believe how the owners can let this complex get like this it's a disgrace. You have families elderly handicap people living there. Buildings ready to fall and all you do is put caution tape around thinking kids not gonna go in. I was a kid once and I loved going in places I shouldn't have been in. But these days kids are not so lucky. Something needs to be done. ASAP!!!!
I’ve only been living at The Corridor for about 3 months. And it’s the best decision that I’ve made moving. Jordan James made the entire process very easy she’s very professional and easy to talk to. The property is always clean. And I haven’t had any problems with my apartment. Every is really nice. I love living here.
Management and maintenance are great. They respond fast. Apartment is nice and clean. The only issue is other neighbors don’t park in the lines so they either hit your car with their door or double parking. Complex has more potholes than all of Shreveport.
I have lived at Corridor Apartments for 1 1/5 years; the last few months we have had a different property manager Jordan James and it has made a Huge difference in my living experience. Jordan is dedicated, professional and also a part of our community. Everyday when I come home she is on the property cleaning and caring for it and is always looking out for our safety. She is always trying to create a close community with trick or treating, balcony contest and scavenger hunts. I highly recommend our community and I’m very thankful she was hired.

Been living here with my dad for over a year now...The apartments aren't that bad, quite a few do need some work. The people here are sorta friendly. The place in general isn't the best to live at, but it's better then the streets.
After living here for several years and seeing this place change hands many, many times..I can say that it used to be a good place to live. Now? Don't bother. The guy running the place has been charged and is being taken to court for not paying the bills for this place AND allowing this place to go so far under the ground. If you need a place to live, go elsewhere.

Just recently moved in but I've been familiar with the area and the apartments for years. I love the new staff!!!! Mrs. Sherry and the new lady as her assistant are easy to talk to, very understanding, and they are really motivated and dedicated to this complex. I love that they and the new owners are working together and improving this complex. I see some changes to the apartment complex and It looks great!!!!! Looking forward to the miraculous changes thats happening at this apartment complex.

The worst Apartments. Don't wanna fix nothing but they want the rent on time. Since my sister been there it's been one thing after another. They had water leaking from the roof for the longest. Ceiling looking like it's about to fall in. The Refrigerator is broke again. Everytime they Drag one up it ain't worth a Dam, this is probably the 4 one and all they can tell me today is that they don't have a dolly. We're wasting food everytime and she's handicap and on a fixed income, but do they care no. I got to do something soon. Just fed up. Two different managers and nothing have changed.This is for the Manager as long as you collecting these people's rent you need get off your ass, walk around and she just how these Apartments look inside. And the parking lot is horrible. Just like the Apartments. Very Disappointed.
This was the first and only apartment complex I will ever stay in. It was ran horribly and you could never get any work done on you apartment. We went without a/c 3 times in the middle of summer, had a mouse infestation that never got resolved, and my dog was attacked and killed by a stray pit bull while my son was walking him. They had no remorse or care for our animal or family. The things that were wrong with the apartment never got fixed because 2 weeks after we moved out they had it ready for another person to move in. I would never recommend living here it was the worst place I have ever lived!

I came to look at an apartment here and the lady that works here told me it was ok to come at 1:00 so that's the time I showed up. I drove all the way up here which is like a 30 minute drive from where I currently live and she told me that she couldn't show me the apartment today because they were having some made up meeting all of a sudden! She should have told me that instead of me wasting my gas to drive all the way up here! I'm kind of happy she didn't show me the apartment because I wouldn't want to deal with her if I lived here I feel sorry for the people renting who have to deal with her that was just really rude.
My daughter (Shermesia Lewis) lived in apt 206. Last month (08/02/2017) I turned in her 30 day notice to the MANAGER who is now saying she didnt receive it and will not give her back her deposit. I saw the maintenance man a few days later after I turned it in and said I heard your daughter is moving, so how did he know she was moving and he haven't say my daughter. My daughter told her if my mom came up maybe you will remember getting, the MANAGER said no it wouldn't make a difference.....I told my daughter to send a email because of people like this. Its not fair because my daughter kept her end of the contract but manager didn't. ...Forgetful and Unorganized Manager what goes around comes around, do unto others as you would want them to do unto you... If you lie you will steal.
