This chinese restaurant was a bit disappointing after seeing all the great reviews. Overall it was not that great, i didn’t enjoy it as much and it didn’t deserve 4.5 stars. The service was slow, even with good amount of staff there, food was mediocre and pricey, and there was no views nor atmosphere of the place. The hot and sour soup was too peppery and missed the spicy hot flavor, didn’t taste authentic like real chinese soup. The other dishes were just ok. The only good thing was probably the white rice lol.

Great food right near the water in Lucern. The dim sum was fantastic, the crispy duck was a great dish to split for 2. Good service as well.

Ordered 2 appetizers. What they brought were different looking, but we figured it was just their versions of the appetizers. So, we started eating it. Our server comes and says they brought us the wrong appetizers (which we didn’t end up liking) and that she had cancelled our actual appetizers and added the ones we didn’t order to our bill since we had started eating it. I paid for the appetizers and drinks and left. Terrible way to handle that situation. They get a negative rating for the service and since all we ate were parts of the 2 appetizers we didn’t order they get a negative rating on the food too. We spent 70.00 for a sprite, tea and appetizers we didn’t order or like. Just know if you go you’re gonna pay for whatever they deliver to your table whether or not you or the ordered it or like it. And now we’re looking for another restaurant to eat dinner. First bad experience in Lucerne. Won’t be back.

The food here was so yummy! Was able to get a reservation the day before with ease and glad I did so because it was full. It’s located at the grand national hotel so the location was perfect. The weather was nice out so they say everyone outside so you had water views.

The food itself was fresh and plentiful portions. We had the spicy beef hot pot, dim sum, spring rolls, udon noodles, and the shiitake chicken, which were all great options.

The service was phenomenal as well with the waiting staff being super friendly and checking up on us periodically even with so many other tables. Highly recommend!

Food in Jialu is greatly appreciated and the price is acceptable. Especially the La Zi chicken is one of my favorite food. It is the good example of spicy fried chicken. I am definitely recommending this place for everyone. Also, the staff members in there are extraordinary kind and cute. I was served by waitress, Nout, I guess. She was always there to help and improve the service for our table.

We have been coming to this location every year for our team lunch. The food have always been exceptional. Service was very polite and efficient. We were especially pleasantly surprise by our server Felicia for her attentiveness and how good she took care for us.
I have given 4 stars on the rooms because we have always taken outdoor seatings. And now having experienced the indoor table. The room felt a bit tight.
Other than that it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

Jialu's was a great dinner. They have inside or outside dining and always seem busy. The rice is kept over a candle to keep it warm. Walk in later as the sun is going down and have a relaxing meal. Very flavorful. In comparison to other local restaurants the prices are reasonable. Staff seemed rushed but were always polite.
