Very kind owner and speaks english. He helped me with guitar strings and was very kind. They have many of the western musical instruments you need.
Also, different types of single strings were available. Generally, i liked this place.

I started visiting Matthias at his shop in 2020. This was during lockdown and he was respectful, responsible and kind during a time when it was easy to be otherwise. I have been educated about and purchased harmonicas, strings, and my favorite Larivee acoustic guitar. Thank you!

I enjoy making friends through music and travel. I had planned a trip to Berlin to visit the remains of the Berlin Wall and to buy German harmonicas. I successfully achieved my first objective, and then I headed to the city's main music store, Just Music, where I received excellent service. However, they didn't have all the harmonicas I was looking for. So, I decided to explore other stores in the area and came across Acoust Music Store.

I noted down the address and entered it into the Uber app. Unfortunately, there was another street with the same name (Berliner) on the opposite side of the city, which led to me losing a significant amount of money due to the confusion. Nevertheless, I didn't give up. When I realized I was at the wrong address, I spent additional money to reach the correct one.

Upon arriving at the correct address, I was delighted to find a wide variety of harmonicas, including Seydel, Lee Oskar, and Hohner, in greater quantity and variety compared to Just Music. However, my positive experience ended there. Despite my intention to make a substantial purchase, the owner of the store turned out to be one of the most unfriendly and unpleasant individuals I encountered in Berlin (and in all the cities I visited during my trip to Poland).

I mentioned to him that experts considered the Crossover harmonica he was selling to be one of the best in the world, to which he dismissively replied, "Internet reviews mean nothing." He took every opportunity to make sarcastic comments to his friend who was with him. I selected the harmonicas I wanted to purchase and decided to test a Lee Oskar harmonica. What followed was a scene. He kept repeating, "You will pay for it! You will pay for it!" I responded, surprised, "Of course, of course!" even though I had never indicated that I wouldn't pay. This behavior raised suspicions that he was agitated.

I then asked him to calculate the total amount of the purchase. Instead of providing the sum, he simply added everything up to finalize the purchase. I requested to see the breakdown first since I wasn't certain which harmonicas I could afford, as I had budgeted 300 euros, and there were more harmonicas on the table than that (many of which I didn't request to be included). At this point, he became extremely agitated, claiming that I didn't know what I wanted. It was then that I decided I would never return to his store, as his demeanor was overly aggressive and discourteous for someone in a customer service role.

He persistently tried to persuade me to buy a Seydel Noble harmonica without its paper cover, which I declined as I had initially planned. Additionally, when I asked him to tune the Crossover harmonica I brought for testing, he didn't even use a tuner; he simply used the blower to see if the harmonica was playing and claimed it was okay. However, I knew the harmonica was out of tune, but I decided to let it pass.

In the end, I made the purchase solely because it was my last day of the trip, and I had no other options in Berlin to buy harmonicas. However, I have no intention of ever returning to that store. This individual is better suited to run a kennel than to interact with people. Furthermore, he appeared to have no knowledge of harmonicas, as he had never even heard of the natural B note.

During my future trips to Germany, I will make an effort to buy harmonicas and other items in a different city or hope that Just Music, which has more customer-friendly staff, expands its range of harmonicas. In summary, I strongly advise staying away from this individual, as he seems quite unpleasant. A shame for the Berliner people.

Ein Musikladen, wie man ihn sich wünscht. Ich habe mich vor Ort sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gern wieder.

Habe vier meiner Gitarren, welche recht lang trostlos und sehr verwahrlost an der wand hingen, zum schickmachen und einstellen dort abgegeben. Keine 24h später kam der Anruf, dass alles fertig ist. Ergebnis ein Traum. Wie neu und perfekt eingestellt. Obendrauf gabs noch eine gebrauchte, sehr gut erhaltene basstasche zum toppreis und ne westerngitarrentasche zum tomannpreis. Bin super zufrieden mit preis, Beratung und Ergebnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich habe ein Mikrofonkabel gebraucht und habe mit dem Besitzer des Musikladen telefoniert.
Er gab mir gute Ratschläge und ich fuhr sofort los um es zu holen . Mit dem Auto brauchte ich ca 20 Minuten. Komischerweise stand ich vor verschlossenen Türen. Der Musikladen hatte geschlossen. Ich griff sofort zum Telefon und Gott sei Dank er war noch da. Er hat mich noch mal reingelassen und ich bekam mein Mikrofonkabel. Das macht nicht jeder Ladenbesitzer. Noch mal Danke.

As a musician you get so used to usually dealing with grumpy dudes in music shops - walking in here was an absolute dream. She is incredibly friendly and helpful, service is often lightspeed on-the-spot and prices are very reasonable. Keep these shops alive!!!

The shop you have to go if you've a problem on your brass instrument !! And if you want to talk or buy tuba, the owner is a bible.

Wir waren heute als zwei völlige Anfänger da. Er hat uns super beraten und nicht einfach verkauft sondern auch gesagt das macht keinen sinn. Sehr sympathisch bei der Beratung. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden bestimmt wieder etwas finden.
