Enjoyed my brisket Pho, Beef beetles and chicken Vermicelli salad.
Food was good somehow but the beef in the brisket tasted a bit old.

The lady who served me wouldn't crack a smile if she won the powerball. Pork Roll was way below average, probably more soy sauce than pork. The bread roll itself was probably the highlight.

We've driven around 20 minutes for this. Spent $18 for a small normal usual $12 pho. Not worth.. I rather drive to marrickville in the future..... Or Keep eating pho in chatswood.

We ordered Grilled pork and crab ‘nem’ vermicelli and spicy beef noodle. Food portions are huge so we should order one main and one light meal for 2 next time.
Noodle was not spicy at all as their menu said but it was so yummy. We enjoyed our foods.
As a Vietnamese I can tell it’s a good restaurant when i saw the garlic pickle jar on the table (even you dont like it, still the best sign of Pho restaurant) and huge pots in kitchen. Definitely when come back Sydney, I will try Pho!!

Casual, value for money. Very quick service, fresh food, solid size and portions of vegetables like you’d expect. Totally satisfied would return.

Food had a slug in it. Think that covers it.

Have eaten there before and has been good. But was halfway through my roll and found a slug crawling away inside. There was no way for it to get in except from their kitchen. 5mins since I'd got it and had just been walking. He's a very happy slug at least.

Amazing little unassuming place in Waterloo. I come here at least once a week, either to eat in or takeaway - their meatball pork rolls and crispy pork rolls are cooked to perfection and so tasty. Great selection of fresh juices too. Rice paper rolls are delicious and freshly made. The place is run by a lovely family and it’s always impeccably clean. Easily my favourite Vietnamese food in Sydney! Prices are very reasonable too.
Amazing customer service and customer care. I made an online order through Menulog and no driver was available to pickup the food for 2 hours. The restaurant owners contacted me and tried to help. They were also a victim of Menulog's system and couldn't join anyone from their company.

Once delivered, the food was very good. The owners even made sure to prepare fresh spring rolls when the driver finally came for pickup.

Highly recommend this restaurant. 😊

Had the spicy beef noodle soup, was really excellent aside from some weird spam thing that was in it? But overall I liked it and would return.
Delicious food, decent portions with the meat, great presentation and affordable

This place really surprised us with amazing food.
We were watching a show nearby hence planning to have a quick dinner, randomly walked pass here and decided to dine in.
Ordered prawn and pork spring roll , ( didn’t take a pic ). It was crispy and the wrap was thin. The sweet chilly sauce was nice however if you are not a big fan of strong smell fish sauce, it would not be a big fan of the sauce.
The butter pork chop, this is sooooo good. Even the bone of the pork chop, it was so flavoursome, it went well with steam rice. And they are quite generous with potions.
The rare beef pho, the beef was cooked actually. The broth was nicely balanced but it was a little bit cold.
Customer service was nice and welcoming, would definitely come back for some other dishes.

The real Vietnamese restaurant run by a family. The pho and deep fry spring roll was great for cold winter 🥰
The broth is so soft and nice. It's just right for me because don't like salty dishes.
Next time is like to try pork roll☺️
Was excited to try Yen’s as it was rated one of the best pho in Sydney but it was very disappointing. Ordered beef pho and special waygu beef pho - broth was way too sweet, not as aromatic and rich like some of the other places we tried, not a lot of meat, meat quality wasn’t great either. Stars are for the services. Maybe the rice dishes are better?
The auntie was so lovely.. Beef pho was very good ($15), I’ve tried a few Viet restaurants around Sydney, this is the best one so far. Broth was rich and not too strong. Just perfect. Beef was tender and not hard to pull apart. Service was very nice, they give free hot tea. Remember it’s CASH ONLY.
Very sad looking and tasteless vermicelli salad.. couldn't even be bothered to put in peanuts .. herbs or spring rolls. For $14 i definitely won't be back.
About 10g worth of chicken...some lettuce poorly tossed in and all noodles. 0.5/5
The women that cook and serve here are so lovely. Maybe it’s because they remind me of the aunties from back home that hustle in hawker centres for long hours each day, but the food always gives me a warm hug. I’ve had the beef pho, beef and meatball pho, shaking beef, crispy skin chicken and tomato rice, and spring rolls over the past few years. Good value for money and I always try and get lunch or dinner from here if I’m in the area.

I’ve read comments about how the service and friendliness have declined over the years, and I’ve never had that experience.

p.s. the photo dump here is from several visits, cos I’ve been putting this review off for too long!

Small local business run by family (i guess?) Sometimes their young child was playing violin in the restaurant. Very cute. Very casual! My favourite is special beef Pho, very satisfying. I liked chicken vermicelli salad as well. Pork vermicelli salad was a bit too dry… Not much special about this restaurant, but id say… quite authentic flavor. There is another Vietnamese restaurant nearby, which has more variety of food options. I have tried both places, and this one has better Pho in my opinion. Here has better beef quality? I dont know, it was tender here!
mediocre Viet food.
If you're desperate for pho without travelling out west, this may suffice.

Fried chicken servings were stingy. all 3 pieces were from different parts of a chicken. It was like other pieces were served to other people or had fallen off the plate.

Serving size is very decent. This crispy chicken is nicely flavoured outside and tender and juicy inside.
I’d be good if the vermicelli noodle salad is less wet.
Overall it’s very good in value!

This place is always busy and I can understand why: good food, gigantic portions and good price. We ordered seafood springrolls to share and then one spicy beef soup and one seafood fried rice, the springrolls were fantastic and I was surprised how much seafood there was in the rice. The broth and noodle in the soup were really good, there was a lot of beef but the meat wasn't of the best quality, we had to leave almost half of it. Service was polite and very quick. Because the portions are big, we'll skip the entree and only get one main each next time

Their Banh Mi and fresh juices look great but I felt like something warm today and opted for their pho tai. Broth is lighter than what I usually like but is still aromatic, good serving size with ample fresh side of beans and mint. Very friendly staff too!

Lovely setting and ambience. We ordered Pork bowl dry pho and grilled chicken soup pho plus crab spring roll. The grilled chicken and pork were Super. The pho soup, on initial taste bland, but we came to appreciate it as It had a lovely ginger base. Tasty menu!
The fresh steamy bowl of pho that you have grown up to enjoy, is presented here in a delicious fanfare.

The broth is everything I remembered from my childhood and this place nails it.

Highly recommend checking this place out.
