I've only had the fried rice with pork so far, but both times were a delicious, generous serve at a good price.
Quick and tasty, like Viet food is supposed to be.
True Vietnamese food is a generous celebration of freshness, balance of flavour and colour. This is not Vietnamese food. Dried up tasteless chicken served by sourface chinese staff whom would rather be elsewhere. If only the white Anglo Saxons that visit this dump knew what Vietnamese food could be. Cannot last as this is my third meal in as many years. Consistently bland, recycled aweful food.
Came here for lunch, we ordered some cold rolls and a bowl of spicy beef noodles. The cold rolls were good but the spicy beef didn't have enough flavour, they don't have chilli oil or salads to go with it.
Had a Vietnamese roll (Banh Mi) here today. First thing I noticed was the very high price of $8. I've had some pretty amazing rolls around the city for a lot less than this, so immediately they had a lot to live up to. When I was handed the roll, immediate impression was that it was small compared to others. The filling was also on the skimpy side. The flavour was average, but what let it down the most (other than the price!) was that the roll was chewy. Not in the slightest bit crunchy. Possibly the other food here is quite good, but after my first taste I won't be back.
I arrived close to closing time so nothing left on display and the very friendly staff offered to make me up some fresh cold rolls. The rolls were generous and dipping sauce tasty, however my preference would be for a few more herbs in them. Very clean shop, prompt service, also have an accessible toilet.

Was looking for a place to grab a quick bite before a nearby appointment, checked out Drake, but nothing special and the guy serving was rude👎🏼...

By chance I happen to find this hidden gem (located behind the chemist) Viet street food - winner winner chicken dinner!

The service was fast & friendly (considering it was lunchtime) The Bun-Mi was fresh with a decent amount of meat/fillings/condiments

Nom Nom 🤤👌🏻

I was buying sunscreen at the massive Chemist King pharmacy next door and stumbled across this local Vietnamese gem.

Tucked in behind the BP petrol station across from the Adelaide Showgrounds, this place was packed with tradies, office workers and even little old ladies.

The first time I got a Banh mi. If you like real butter and pate on your rolls, this is the place to go. Bread was soft and fresh on the inside and crusty on the outside. The second time I tried the bun noodle bowl which was packed with crispy spring roll, juicy roast pork and gold ball sized nem nuong sliced. A healthy serving of herbs to balance it out too!

Oh and the iced coffee, I’m warning you it is addictive and you will be back!
