I just admire it, when the staff greet you with a smile and friendliness! The food was also warm and good, and served super quick.

We went in mid March 2024 and ordered the most expensive banquet option. Apart from the soup, salad and dessert, all of the meals are served together on a single plate.

Pros - very quick service, large portion sizes that are very filling, duck and fried wonton are quite tasty. Prices are affordable.

Cons - decor is dated/tacky and there was a bit of a sour smell in the restaurant when we went that reminded me of a toilet, I was hoping it would go away but it persisted for the entire meal. The sweet and sour soup and stir fry dishes are just so-so and meals are not presented to impress. Baked banana needs more honey otherwise just tastes bland.

Overall this is a good place to visit if you’re hungry and craving quick Chinese takeout, but I wouldn’t take a date here if I wanted to impress them and I don’t think the banquet is really worth it - it’s good value but for the price you might as well go to a nicer restaurant and get something a bit fancier.

As a Sushi fan, I can highly recommend that Busumo has the best fish quality in town. The rice is also very well marinated and soft. The sauces are tasty. I eat there almost every weekend. You should also try their homemade drinks. Busumo staff are nice and attentive too. There is no doubt of giving this place 5 out of 5.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in town. The food is delicious, the service is very good. The soups are perfect : each one has a different flavor profile (tofu, chicken, meat) and especially the vegetarian tofu soup surprises with a palette of flavors that is simply incredible. We'll balanced, slowly cooked, with all details of a legitimate, fabulous Vietnamese soup.
All dishes have a very good portion and look colorful and healthy. I have eaten there many times and can recommend everything on the menu. I've gone with friends who are experts in Vietnamese food and all of them say that the food is just as good as in Vietnam.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere is funky and fresh. Definitely a place to stop at midday or dinner.

Decent place to have a selection of fusiony Asian foods. Not expensive either. Good choice.

Delicious shrimp soup and yogurt drink. I didn't like the grilled salmon sushi roll because it was a little too crispy, and untightly wrapped.

It's has the best atmosphere, the cocktails is worth it. I hoped to come again someday on my next visit to Germany.

The food is ok. They served quickly and brought the right Jasmine tea. The fish was a little bit salty.

Easily the best Vietnamese (and Asian) food in the city. Everyone's food was excellent. Quick, friendly service and huge portions of delicious food for such a reasonable price.
Definitely my new favourite place. I will be back!
My complaint, if it even is one, is that I would love to have the choice of peanut sauce with the summer rolls.

I ordered fresh kumquat drinks (as written fresh in the menu, I hope i would get a fresh kumquat drink), but they brought me a processed drink from the can.
Also the “bun mang ngan”, the meat is not fresh anymore.

The food was soo delicious and the service was very fast. The staff was so polite and nice. There are a few vegetarian options. I especially like the gyoza dumplings and udon noodles. The portions are quite good for the price. The ambiance is very pleasant and they have a sushi station right in the middle of the restaurant which is really nice! I enjoyed the experience and food overall.

Newly renovated Busumo. Enjoyed the modern take on sushi rolls. The dragon roll was super tasty. With regards to the maki and sashimi, the salmon does not taste the freshest.

Best Sushi in Göttingen! Much better menu after renovation, and great selection of Sushi. I went there 4 times in a row with different groups of people and all were impressed.

Unexpectedly, the food is quite nice... The price is honest and a fair Vietnamese touch ...

Really nice food and quick service. You are definitely spoilt for choices as their menu is too big and you have variety of options to choose from. I really liked their Udon noodles bowl served with duck meat. I recommend trying their red chilli mix if you want to heat things up.

The roasted duck with curry was quite nice .

Visit here for a Sunday dinner for my short trip to Göttingen. We ordered the spring roll other roll with pork along with a chicken and a beef pho. First of all their service was TERRIBLE, if you don’t speak their language, the waitress seems very annoyed, second, the pho are HORRIBLE, they tasted like boil water with noodles in it. Spring rolls are over-cooked. My friend has to add a lot of soy sauce in order to have some flavor. I strongly not recommend this place.

At the end, the waitress forced to add tip on the check, that really made me angry!

--> to the owner: I recommend that if your customer doesn't speak your language, then simply don't add the service charge on the bill. And as a first time visitor, we don't want any trouble while traveling to other country especially we thought the service charge is a "must". Anyhow, unfortunately first impression is the key as for customer service.

--> update: changed to 2 stars because they are only the few restaurant opened on Sunday.

I ordered duck with rice and mushrooms. The duck had a rotten smell and a mushy feeling in the mouth like it was cooked four days before. The combination of the duck and the sauce with the mushrooms smelled like garbage. Also, their toilets are in a bad condition. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid multiple trips to the toilet.

Really good and very affordable family-run Chinese. Must try.

Food was alright - A bit weird that the two different dishes tasted all the same. Delivery was Ca. 30 min late. Value for money was ok.
