The place is lovely, with a stunning interior and great views. However, it’s not really about the food. I ordered the Green Dragon, Philadelphia Maki, and avocado salad with salmon, and they were just okay.

I recommend booking a table online for convenience.

We loved our visit to Asia Asia. The restaurant's decor is really nice and the view out to the marina is amazing. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. There was a great vibe the whole time we were there and the whole restaurant was buzzing. Our reservation was 9pm and it was full when we got in there. The food is unreal and the drinks were nice also. Definitely worth a visit and I would definitely go back.

One of the Elite Pan Asian Restaurant with an amazing view of the JLT. The service was average and surprisingly rude some times. The starters did speak authentic language and the ambience was perfect for dinner. The main course was Fish and some rice which was made to perfection. Over all not worth the hype and price.

Asia Asia is a good spot for lunch/dinner with gorgeous views of the Dubai Marina. The ambiance is nice, a beautiful decor and the service is attentive and welcoming.
Food was good, the “Jasmine Pavlova” dessert with a dreamy basil ice cream is absolutely wonderful The only downside was that their coffee machine was not working at the time and couldn’t get any coffee.

Wow, what a truly remarkable dining experience. The beauty of the restaurant is only surpassed by the food and the service. We had the set menu and our waiter seated us at the area where the food is prepared. Every course was just perfect, it is hard to choose a favourite as every piece of food that we had was delicious. I would go as far to say that this was a top 5 lifetime dining experience for us. Taiko is definitely going to be our go to restaurant in Dubai!

Place was physically beautiful. But I wrote in advance RE severe allergies and staff had no idea. Received a weak explanation about how they always ask at the table as a fallback - completely missing the point. When the food arrived it was merely warm and completely overpriced for what it was, and the staff did not permit me to go outside to the balcony after my meal to finish my business meeting there. Offended, I just asked for the bill to drink elsewhere. Didn’t stop the staff member having the absolute gall to ask if I wanted to add a tip in front of my guest. There’s being unable to read the room and then there’s this shocking display of incompetence. Overall, abysmal management and customer service. This place, quite clearly, is only looking to fleece people. I will never be back, and would advise any self respecting person simply not bother with them. So many other places in Dubai which treat you fantastically - this place didn’t have a clue. Do not waste your time or money.

The black cod is outstanding, and the restaurant offers a wonderfully soothing ambiance. After we finished the gym at Sofitel, we had a light dinner here and it was worth it.

A very nice dining experience in Dubai Marina the atmosphere inside was great but the music was a bit too loud for my taste it was difficult having a conversation inside but the dining area was nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful although I did find them trying to upsell a lot. Food was actually very good they had an interesting selection of dishes and I was left quite satisfied. We had a great dinner here with my nephew who is visiting Dubai. He liked it and was happy with the service. The ambiance is very chill, cozy and elegant. We enjoyed the ramen, salmon avocado sushi, and the fresh oysters. Thanks to Naged who served us our dinner, he was very kind, friendly and helpful.

An amazing venue to visit with its intriguing interiors and ambience.
There’s plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor dining along with a bar displaying its Soju collection and other beverages (alcoholic).
The serving staff are polite and are always willing to suggest liquid accompaniments paired to the food that’s being ordered.
It’s a place that has to be on one’s “must visit” list in Dubai.
Located in The Obelisk by Sofitel Dubai, parking isn’t an issue with the valet prompt at service.
It can get busy so it’s best to reserve a table prior to visiting this venue.

I had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu at Taiko contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar located in Sofitel The Obelisk recently. Everything from the ambience to the food and drinks and hospitality is outstanding. It was my first visit and it will definitely not be the last. Taiko is a must-visit and I can’t wait to visit again.

Das Shanghai me ist einer der authentischsten asiatische Restaurants in Dubai! Das Restaurant liegt im wunderschönen DIFC, sodas man nach dem Resurant Besuch auch noch gut einen Cocktail in einer Bar trinken gehen kann. Das Interieur ist sehr geschmackvoll und schön! Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Speisen sowie ein seperate Karte für die verschiedensten Dim-Sum Kreationen! Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Peeking Duck, die man sowohl als Vor- als auch als Hauptspeise bestellen kann, die Short Ribs sowie das Pistazien Eis. Einziger Minus Punkt ist, dass es im Restaurant sehr kalt ist - auf Nachfrage wird jedoch die Temperatur der AC erhöht.

Saturday night dinner reservation.Great location . Staff were friendly . The food was quite nice but lacking that finesse.. but overall not bad. Had a noisy table from Liverpool which literally ruined our evening .. the noise was really unbearable and surrounding tables were obvious to it and so was the staff but they choice to do nothing .. the manager should have had a word with them to pipe it down …

Food and staff were great. I felt the music was too loud, it was a live DJ but you just couldn't have a conversation which ruined my experience.

The decor and everything else really was great though and if you don't mind the very loud music I would recommend.

One of the best Chinese infusion restaurants I have had in a very long time. Four stars for the food just because of the jasmine white rice; i do not understand why not real Chinese/asian rice?! Everything else is outstanding. The service, and the atmosphere are way above 5 stars. The reception hostesses need more training, however.

Quite a unique experience that we've had here! Serving exquisite dishes that will surely tickle your taste buds. Cozy and romantic ambience that makes a perfect date night! The evening brunch menu is a must try! One thing that could be improved is that wine should be served extra chilled. Otherwise, we highly recommend this place and we'll definitely come back.

I have only two comments that i wish can produce some changes in the future:

The restaurant was full packed and has very vibrant atmosphere. Despite being fully packed, I’m impressed how quick and smart service was. Waiters are very professional yet engaging. Even the manager had time to come to our table. Food is superb from taste to presentation but best part is their desserts, they’re all to dive for! Definitely irresistible.

Food was really tasty, I highly recommend their wagyu beef sub and the cucumber avocado salad which definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

The service wasn’t welcoming at all at the beginning, we arrived at 10PM with a confirmed reservation (booked and confirmed 7 days in advance) and were asked to wait at the bar standing for 35 minutes. This client treatment was really disrespectful especially that I was thrown in different directions amongst 4 different managers and no one was able to help with giving us the reserved table - only answer I got was “give me 2 minutes” and no one was able to help! There were at least 3 empty tables in the place and still no one cared to check. As soon as I showed how upset I was and I brought up that we are leaving to go to CLAP or Sucre next door mentioning that the service is disrespectful, thankfully the senior manager finally heard me and gave us a table.

The team made up our night by inviting us for dinner and getting us dessert for my husband’s birthday which was a nice gesture that eased up the mood a bit. But overall, the first hour of our night got ruined big time due to the non welcoming service for clients (I’m not sure if all clients get treated the same way).

On another note, we had an amazing waiter called Francis who was so welcoming, nice, friendly, funny and took care of us. Also music was really nice - DJ was really good at creating a nice atmosphere.

The ambiance is amazing! Food are also amazing! My friend and i booked 8:30pm-12:30am, the server was amazing and we had so much fun, from time to time theres performers coming to our table, drinks were amazing too! The view is amazing. Overall amazing. It was worth spending our new year there! Will definitely come back! (The music was just too loud and cant speak with my friend that much like we had to speak loudly to hear each other 😂 but it was fun!)

We went to Asia Asia Business Bay, and had an amazing time, we went to celebrate a birthday, and they went above and beyond to make us feel special. Great customer service, very welcoming, great food, we had the full course taster menu and other food from the menu! The waitress her name is Lovely, who was our waitress was absolutely amazing! She had Great attention to detail, warm and very professional! The waitress called Lovey made our experience, fantastic! If you go, ask for Lovley, you will have a great time, and she made the outting a great experience! Will definitely come back, with friends and family

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Asia Asia Business Bay. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was nothing short of amazing; every dish was bursting with flavors that transported our taste buds on a delightful journey through Asian cuisine.

What truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Daisy. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable evening. Her knowledge of the menu and her recommendations were spot on.

Asia Asia provided a dining experience that was a tale of two extremes. Absolutely and confidently say you should avoid!

The food, undoubtedly, was good. However, the service was a huge letdown. Despite a promising start, the evening turned into a nightmare due to prolonged waiting - an hour and a half to get any food, delays for drinks multiple times even after repeated requests, and ultimately missing out entirely on the dessert, which was paid for as part of the brunch. The main course arrived after an additional delay of one hour, and the final drinks never made it to the table.

While the ambience was nice, overall experience was significantly marred by the consistently poor service, making it challenging to enjoy what could have been a delightful dinner.

The setting wonderful, the menu is very diverse and great for vegetarians and meat eaters. The staff was friendly.

The cocktail and mocktail menu is amazing with names of the Chinese zodiac.

Unfortunately we had some issues with the service as they forget a few items, then cleared our plates to early as we still wanted more food. Because of that we hit our time limit without being able to finish our meal at our table.

They then moved us to a nice table in the lounge and offered coffee and dessert.

Would definitely recommend but make sure to double check your order and let them know quickly if you’re missing anything.

The Bambooda is a spacious, beautifully decorated Thai restaurant located in the Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai. Melanie gave us a warm welcome and catered to our needs throughout the entire evening. Next to a large variety of fish and meat dishes the menu contains a handful of vegetarian and vegan options, including red and green curry as well as pad thai. The wait for our food was definitely worth the while as it was full of rich tastes and fresh ingredients. Note, that the dishes are very spicy from a European perspective even when they are titled “mild” or “medium spice”. In essence, we highly recommend to dine at the Bamboon!

We went today for the first time for my sons 16th birthday party. We were served by an excellent server “Akshay” and had a truly memorable evening. I highly recommended the restaurant , the aesthetics, theatrics and exceptional food make this an ideal experience for a special occasion. We had the beef Adebo which was melt in the mouth, the succulent lamb chops and super tasty fries. We also ordered the hummus and bread which again was delightful. I’ve been to many fine dining restaurants but this had a particularly excellent attention to detail and the server was very knowledgeable, explaining each dish. The customer service alongside the food and ambience make this a place that I will definitely return to.

Honestly, one of the best experiences I’ve had in terms of food and service. Yusef was brilliant from start to finish & really made the experience even better. The food was delicious, cooked infront of you. There is a selection of meat and starters to choose from and the venue itself has great views across Dubai creek.

Belaid and his team of people were the best. The food was so delicious and tasty. My friends and I visited this spot for a birthday dinner. Everything was well-seasoned. We got the lamb chops and the baked potatoes. The sides are definitely a shareable size. We enjoyed shisha as we waited for our food which the food came out in a timely matter. This was such a great dining experience. We really enjoyed ourself. Highly recommend. The restaurant even comes with a view.

I am living in Dubai from past 7 years and been to many restaurants but this one is magical...people you really need to be to this place its supper luxury and the food is super super delicious no words to express. I recently dined at this amazing restaurant and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. The food was nothing short of extraordinary, with every dish surpassing my expectations. Had never heard of the GEM before and so glad that we chose Bambooda as the location to celebrate my brother's birthday !!!

AMAZING THAI FOOD !!! for anyone who's looking to have a pure Thai experience, this is your place ! we ordered dumplings, chicken basil, cashew nut chicken, prawn tempura, spicy beef, and one of the best mango sticky rice I've had in a while; in Dubai!

The staff was so courteous and attentive to every need ! The space was designed really well, with their own little Koi Pond, which we sat right next to ! And true to their name, every single item of guest furniture was designed with Bamboo wood !

Their price range is on the higher side and more fitting for an occasional visit, but I wouldn't mind going again to relive those DELICIOUS memories !!!

I sat outside on the rooftop shisha seating area which provided a great view and atmosphere. The tables and chairs were very clean and comfortable. The staff seated me quickly and were all very friendly.
The menu was very accurate of what they served. Everything I ordered was OUTSTANDING! Definitely will come back again for the food and probably order the exact same items, they were that good.
The gentleman serving the shisha was very attentive and was always ready to accommodate any requests. He made sure I was happy with every aspect of the shisha service, and I was. The shisha was flavorful and pulled easily, just the way it should be.
The amenities were clean, there was an easily accessible bathroom right off the rooftop area.
I honestly can't think of any cons, if I struggled to think of one I guess it would they didn't bring any water out, but I also didn't ask for water. So I'm not sure if it's customary to bring out complimentary water. Like I said, I didn't ask for it lol.

The food is delicious and the chef cooked a special beef dish for us: 48hrs marinated beef ribs and then 8 hours slowly cooked for mouth watering flavour. What an amazing dish! The king prawn curry is soo tasty, the prawns were fresh and still had the "ocean" taste in them. The pad thai is one of the best you'll find in Dubai and the desserts are rich and flavourful. Highly Recommended!

Best authentic thai food!!!! We ordered 6 Isan dishes for 2 people. Beef oom nue and somtam poo plara were amazing!! All dishes taste soooo good. The chef “Amara” is from Thailand. If you want some dish which is not on the menu,She can make it for you if they have the ingredients.Also, Safiya is so polite and friendly. Very warm welcoming service.
