No one ever leaves this place hungry. The portions are large and the food is top quality. They have a lunch special for 7.95. There was eight of us for a birthday party. Half of us had the lunch special and half had individual orders that they shared.

This is one of my favorite chinese restaurants. They have the best egg rolls, and the food is good. They give a decent amount of food in their combination dinners. I have been going to this restaurant for about 40 years.

My husband and I have been enjoying the tasty dishes at House of Wong for years. The food is always fresh, hot and flavourful. The portions are generous with enough left over to take home. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I've been buying food at this restaurant for over 5 years and it's time to STOP 🛑! 2 months ago I stated it was my last time going to House of Wong because the food Dine in was terrible 😔😭. Today we bought take out hoping it would be better ... unfortunately it got worse. It was terrible beyond words. Not to mention the service over the phone. The person who answered SCARED 😨 ME With...... 'DINE IN or TO GO!' She sounded as though I was owing her an exorbitant amount of cash and didn't pay. I simply put my husband on the phone to place the order. OMG this restaurant was so good now it's over a cliff. I could not even eat all my food of the 4 items we ordered. From tasteless salty, oil soaked chicken wings , to over sweet noodles, to terrible general tso chicken and fried rice that was dry and tasted as if salt was too expensive. It's hard to establish a restaurant but, this one has to do better. I used to brag about the food now I am ashamed. I ate over one hour ago and am just so upset 😭😭😭😭 a waste of money, terrible food just bland dry and bad. DO BETTER. LEAVING THIS RESTAURANT AFTER OVER 5 OR 6 YEARS. BYE HOUSE OF WONG, TODAY IT WAS HOUSE OF WRONG. GOODBYE HOUSE OF WRONG.

Good portions for the lunch special.. Atmosphere was very quiet, clean and had the old chinese aesthetic. this would not be bad for a regular dine in. Service was just great, Vincent, i’m not sure if I got the name right but he was good, and gave fortune cookies at the end of dine in as well. Would love to see more people dine in tho. Definitely coming back

I previously left a negative review after a disappointing experience with food that wasn't fresh, resulting in stomach pain. However, I decided to give them another shot yesterday. Surprisingly, they offered me the lunch special, even though it was a weekend. I must say, they've completely turned things around. The food was fantastic – fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. It's not often you get such quality at this price point. For around $12, the value is unbeatable. It's clear they've taken feedback seriously and improved their game. I'm glad I gave them a second chance. They've won me over with their commitment to better service and quality meals. If you're looking for a tasty, affordable meal, it's definitely worth a visit.

Although this food was brought to me it tasted pretty good! I didn't go inside so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere but it looked appetizing and it actually was! Perfect for lunch! Great portion as well. Hoping to go back and try more dishes from here.

I’m sorry. I’ve been here 4 times due to good pricing and it’s basically next door to my office. The restaurant stinks and is dirty. So much grime on the floors. I ordered anyways. The rice was good each time. The chicken balls have raw dough and I even asked for well done once I caught on to see if it was just a one off. Wrong. Tried the chicken wings instead. Broken bones, dark, dank, gross meat and greasy. Tasted spoiled and I threw them all away after busting a few open. Last time I was the there, and I mean the LAST TIME, a mouse ran across the floor in the hallway beside the kitchen. I returned against better judgement after a few let downs based on good reviews but I’m done. To each their own but this place is nasty.

This restaurant has been around for years. Didn’t even know it still existed. Went here in 1998 and it’s still amazing food and amazing prices. Went here with my Love n his family. We love thé rice, it has a yummy taste from the wok and the fire. (If you guys know the taste I’m talking). My Mom in-law loves this place and the guy that’s forever been working there. She has to go for food here no matter what. The lady who served us was super nice and friendly. Will def go back again when she comes in April.

I recently tried this great place and it was a total win! The portions were great – definitely got my money's worth and then some. The flavors were spot on, especially their chili chicken which was just the right kind of spicy. Plus, the staff were super friendly and quick with service, making the whole experience really laid-back and enjoyable.

Went here for lunch w my bro. What brought us here was the lunch special that they have for $7.99 that comes with a choice of meat on vegetable fried rice. Nowadays you barely see lunch specials for these prices.

We got the Chili Chicken, General Tao Chicken, and Sesame Chicken.
The food is what you’d expect for the price, like it’s pretty good but not amazing, but just enough so that it satisfies you to still enjoy it. Not anything spectacular, but not terrible. My bro rates the place a 7.7/10 and I rate it a 7.8/10. The lady at the front counter was really nice and helpful. Me and my bro were vaping outside while waiting and she brought the orders out to us out the front door! Talk about service! I’ll be coming back. The portions are not bad too, they give about 30-35% meat and the rest is fried rice. Me and my bro are big guys and we were pretty satisfied with one meal each honestly, and for $7.99 that’s a steal in this day in age. We’ll be coming back.

I live far from here and it was my first time going as I was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. I got combo plater 4C I got Beef fried rice, chicken wings, and spring rolls. I can say this is the best fried rice I have ever tasted and I’ve tasted many different fried rice dishes as it is my favourite food. They were not stingy with the portions whatsoever I eat a lot and when I tell you I got full and it didn’t even seem like I made a dent in the food was crazy. The price is reasonable and comparable to other restaurants of this kind considering the times we are in right now but the portion makes up for it 10x. I’m making it my mission to come to this place any time I’m in the area. 10/10 you won’t be disappointed.

The food was very delicious. It looked very good. It tasted spectacular. The people who serve are very attentive and helpful. I totally recommend it.

It's passable, but we're unlikely to return next time. The pig intestine didn't appeal to us due to its unpleasant odor. We haven't sampled other dishes yet, so this might be a one-time visit for us.

Amazing food, very tasty and full of flavour. We order the house special noodles, chili chicken, chicken pakora and chicken brocoli. It was the best tasting chinese food I ever tried. We ordered 1 order of each dish and 3 of us ate, plus we had left overs to take home. For the 4 dishes, I paid about $60.

New hakka spot. Never tried it before because i thought its strictly Chinese food due to the name but its hakka. Amazing food and service. Manchurian egg fried rice. Chili chicken gravy. Chicken pakoras and veggie chow mein and crispy beef is what we get. Will continue going here.

Hand shredded chicken is so good, but both my friends and I absolutely love the chicken gizzards. So so good I have to get at least a box every time I'm nearby.

This store is the store where you always looking for a great local food and keep looking online just to find the best one...they are the one...their chicken just too notch! Me and my wife love going there order 2 order of chicken rice and tell them to make it a bit more saltier... absolutely lovely owners and staffs!

I am not Chinese and nor do I have to wait long or does anyone jump infront of me because I’m non Chinese. Owner is amazing and staff is extremely friendly. The shredded chicken well worth the drive from Hamilton to eat. Obviously, there is competitors so fake reviews will appear. Well worth your money !

I had a very strange experience here yesterday. I have been coming here for a few years and the food and customer service has always been great. Then yesterday when I went, everything started out great as usual, then when I went up to pay, something really weird happened. The owner started telling me how skinny I have got, which was okay. Then she proceeded to tell me how if she has a son, she wouldn't want my son to marry me because of how skinny I am. Then further more told me both Chinese and foreigners wouldn't find me attractive, and how because I lost weight I get wrinkles in my eye. etc etc etc. At first I entertained the talk out of politeness, then when it started taking the strange turn, I rushed out of there ASAP. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or something, but the conversation at the end was just wayyyyy too out of line for me to not comment.

I lived in the area for so long but never had a chance to walk in until today. Hands down one of the best salted baked boneless chicken you can ask for in town. The seasoning was on point. The meat quality is firm on the outside but soft on the inside. And I have to mention the staffs here are super friendly!!! Just come. You won't be disappointed. But call in ahead during lunch time because they are super busy
