I had a pretty bad experience here. I tried the shredded chicken spice bag last week and the chicken was undercooked and literally raw in the middle! I noticed it was chewy, and luckily spit it out straight away.

Food is good but they are stingy as hell with there prawn crackers !!!!
Starting to think need to find a new place to go to as very much a regular here and it's going down hill big style !!!!!!

The food has really improved over the last few months, however it seems that there are price hikes every few weeks. Paying over 7 euro for a 3 in 1 is absolutely ridiculous.

We ended up at Hang Dai after being unable to get into another nearby Chinese restaurant and we are so glad we did! The food and service was impeccable and we loved the ambience. The cheeseburger spring rolls and fried rice were the stars of the show! We will definitely be back.

Best spice bag in Dublin. Have been going for years. Also love the red curry with the crispy duck and the duck pancakes. The staff are so so nice gave me a calendar when I asked. 10/10

Absolute best restaurant I’ve been to in Dublin so far! The tasting menu is delicious and service is very quick. My favorite was the chili & salt prawns, fries green beans, and kung pao chicken! We will definitely be coming back, 10/10!

Dined here on a Sunday afternoon! It’s a pretty cool place the setting it’s in a train carriage. Ordered the tasting menu and a nonalcoholic cocktail. Tasting menu is great you get a variety of different things from the menu. It’s good value for €50. You’ll be very full after the whole meal particularly after the mains. So much food. Nearly too much. The beef was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. Loved the prawns too. The chicken was amazing. Be wary of chilli’s in some of the dishes you wouldn’t recover from them for a solid 5 minutes. Spring rolls were great. The green beans were great! Monkfish tasty too! Cocktail too was chilli based, chilli overdose! But not too spicy the cocktail!

Love this restaurant, such a cool atmosphere. Service was great and the food was spectacular. We got the taste menu and everything was delicious. Prices are ok too, not too expensive. Definitely recommend

Aweful disgusting food. First time I ordered food from Chop Shop, it was fine. Last night I ordered again. 11.55 pm and it arrived at 1.30 AM. Beef curry with boiled rice. One vegetable dish and one 4 in 1 chicken curry tray. Portion of spring rolls and a portion of chicken balls. The order was not only cold and turned to gel, the spring rolls were awful and the order was also short of chicken balls paid for. They sent 2 x 4 in 1s. No veg dish and no chicken balls and I had already tipped the driver €5. Soon as I discovered condition of food and order mistakes, I rang chop shop but no answer so rang the driver who said he had other orders to deliver and couldn't call shop because so late. Today I phoned chop shop and complained only to be told by Asian female that I am a liar and they had no missed call and the food wasn't cold and they have no problem if I don't order from them again. These kind of take aways are the type you get food poison from. Avoid!!

Used to love chop chop- quick service- nice food but recently it’s been atrocious I keep giving them another chance and each time it gets worse and worse, where do I begin- drink cans are not produced in Ireland and taste absolutely disgusting due to different formulas in different countries, so I can never enjoy a drink with my order- secondly raw chicken, I gave them chance after chance without reporting it thinking aw it’s just a really big chicken wing it didn’t cook through that’s ok, but now I’ve gotten severe food poisoning to the point I’m in severe agony with my stomach! This is ridiculous this place needs to be closed down! I have no idea why I was ever a loyal customer!!

Myself and my partner were visiting Dublin for the weekend and this was a restaurant I had spotted on an Instagram video on best places to eat.

I can safely say that we were not disappointed in the slightiest.

The staff were all very acommodating and the service was very smooth. In terms of the food, it was fabulous in every way. We opted for the sharing platter for 2 which was around 30/40 euros each?

The aesthetic inside the restaurant is like an NYC subway car and they also had a DJ spinning some tasteful soul/funk while we dined.

10/10 would recommend.

The place is absolutely great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Place has a nice vibe, you can come in a group of friends or on a date. Food was fantastic. We got the tasting menu and got to try 8 dishes and nearly all of them we found it delish. Really recommend it.

One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Everything was delicious, especially the tuna tataki. The cocktails are amazing. Staff are great. They also have a separate gluten free menu. ❤️

Unreal birthday meal last night with incredible tasting menu and attentive service - every single staff member was happy and helpful and looked after us so well! I had contacted in advance to say one of our party of 6 didn't eat vinegar and they had prepared alternatives for anything she couldn't have ....down to making sriracha especially for her without vinegar. We ordered the specialty duck (a must have!) and had food leftover which was packed up to takeaway with no issue. An incredible dining experience and very reasonably priced, thanks to all!!

I finally tried Chop Chop for the first time after waiting ages to do so, and the wait was well worth it. I got the spice bag meal which consists of a spice bag (obviously), a cup of sauce of your choice (I chose curry) and a can for €9.50. The portion size is decent enough (I've had bigger) but I was satisfied after it. :) The smell of it coming from the bag as I rushed home with it was amazing, and the flavours were just as good once I tore into it and inhaled it. Mmmm, I'll defintely be back. :D Lovely staff by the way!

I ordered a number of items , the first was the Satay chicken ,the sauce had a good flavour but that was it. I couldn’t eat the rest.Sweetcorn soup was in my opinion was bland , something I have never experienced with Any Chinese food. Chicken inside the chicken balls is of the reformed variety.The chicken wings while having a tasty batter have little or no meat on them. Rice was soggy and bland and the ribbs were a joke, no meat at all. The only thing i enjoyed was the chips and that says it all. To be avoided.
