Such a great dinner, and one of the best Hot & Sour soups I’ve had recently. Everything was delicious.

It is one of my favorite restaurants as they provide quick service with great quality food. I must buy something every time I walk pass. Highly recommend to have a try.

What a terrific night and sensational meal. So happy we went to bamboo house. The minute you walk in the door you realize it is classy authentic Cantonese restaurant.
We had a great selection of dumplings, some super tasty spicy dishes, tender and succulent pork, and the mandarin chicken was just Devine. We really enjoyed the Chinese broccoli dish as well.
We found the staff really attentive, and had drinks orders the minute we sat down, and continued attention if we would like additionals, and how was the food.
So glad we found the restaurant, and the reviews don’t lie. The meal and drinks we found reasonable for the experience of dining.

Defending recommend this place! Convenient location, delicious food, with reasonable price! The fried chicken cutlet and braised pork rice are must try😉

We have visited this place twice. 1st time, our order was delicious no complaint, especially the kungfu Chicken for such good price.
We came back the next day to order a quick snack before heading off to Charlie Puth concert but unfortunately the chicken we ordered was severely undercooked and raw (as per picture). It was not until we were on the tram to destination, we found out and couldnt return to report this to the store.
We hope this incident was a rare case but not sure we will revisit

If you want cheap, cheerful Chinese food this not the place. It’s a fine dining experience specialising in Cantonese food. The steamed duck with Chinese vegetables & beef in black bean sauce were perfect and worth the expense. Full attentiveness by the serving staff was a feature. It was a little noisy because the gentleman at the next table had forgotten how to behave and use his inside voice.

Been to foodao for a few time already in the past, i love their 8 treasure porridge, absolutely delicious and this time i tried their braised pork rice, the rice was cooked pretty nice, pork is abit sweet but not overwhelm

Has some unique things on the menu like inner mongolian cuisine, digital menu is easy to order from, service time is very quick.

The food at Bamboo House was impressive except for the wontons spending too long the deep fryer! Service could have been a lot sharper and more favourable if not so detached. Also, a restaurant of this calibre should be pouring the wine at the table. The beer was poured however not the wine, it could be anything!

I love their buns- my go-to breakfast! So much filling and they taste soooo good! Two buns for only $7. Such a deal!

One of the best chinese restaurant in Melb! The food and service is good! The amazing Peking duck is something must try! Staff is friendly and considerate, helped me with my baby with pram! Highly recommend!

Great food! So delicious 😋. The staff are amazing! They portion the food when a group orders together. A bit pricey for me but the place was buzzing.

I’ve gone past Foodao quite a few times now during my work lunch time and finally we got to try them! 🤩

These 2 items were AMAZING! If you only wanna grab one item from them, definitely get one of these. They’re so tasty, generous filling, crispy outer layer and cost less than $10 ‼️

These 2 were another ones we definitely recommend if you’re feeling something easy to eat but not going to make you feel too full. The fried goodies were sooo delicious and we’re obsessed 🤩 The dumplings were some of the JUICIEST dumplings we have ever tried 🤯

These soups are the best for cold days! ❄️ The oyster noodle soup was sticky & savory, the combo texture of chewy noodle and soft oysters was nice. The sour & spicy soup is perfect to eat alternately with the fried goods to cut the fat.

If you’re craving something sweet, these 3 are the options for you! The Jing-cake is something fun to try. It’s our first time trying this sweet & sticky rice cake, topped with dates & kidney beans 😋 I don’t often like soy milk but this one was nice! The flavor was a bit subtle, perfect to drink after you finished a big meal 😉 The sour plum was andrew’s favorite out of the two, as since we discovered plum drinks, he’s been obsessed with it 😂

Overall, this place is where you need to go to get cheap & delicious snacks that will fill you up for sure, we will definitely be back to try their other items 🥰

Haven’t been to this place for ages! Still good, tasty and delicious! I’ve been told to try their Peking duck and lobster omelette and I did! The Peking duck definitely one of the best that I’ve tried in the city. The lobster omelette is a must to try. We’ve ordered more food but I was too hungry to take all the photos. They’ve got good selection of wines. Most of the customers have been coming here for years. The service was fantastic. Highly recommended to book. This place would be great for a birthday or any family lunch/dinner. Enjoy :)

This restaurant has been around for long time but have managed to keep it on the down low. They are on the high end of Chinese food restaurant, the kind where they change your plate after every dish. Food are excellent especially their dry fried beef and Peking duck. The beef is very addictive and unique. Everything else is excellent but very pricey.
