Fun little cocktail bar and steak restaurant! All we got to eat was the sundae, but it was very good — I might recommend for one person instead of two. The cocktails were refreshing, and the waiter was kind and prompt, especially on a busy night.
Zac was great! Very customer friendly and made sure we were accommodated and comfortable! Great job, Zac!

The food and atmosphere were amazing! Also our servers Zack and Jonathan were so sweet and attentive never had to look for them once. Im vegetarian and they accommodated to me. The mimosas were champagne than juice ☺️ Definitely coming back for the bottomless brunch
Food was very flavorful, well portioned and delicious! I was absolutely pleased with level of service and professionalism displayed by staff. I also tried their Moscow Mule cocktail and I was blown away, I HAD to order another one lol!!! By far the best I've had since I've moved to the DMV area. You need to try this restaurant, it's so worth it!
The food was seasoned to perfection with a great atmosphere. We went for brunch. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

First time at the Yard House! Amazing selection of beers! You will definitely find a beer to satisfy your taste here! Great atmosphere and good music! Staff was friendly and efficient! Was good enough on Friday night that we went back for a drink the second night. Was busy enough there was a wait when we left.
Zach was amazing! Kind, attentive, the bottomless mimosa serving was *chef’s kiss*. The food was also awesome. I had only been to Lost Society once before, several months ago, but this will be a memorable one. Thank you Zach and chefs 🤩
Came here before a hockey game, it was SO crowded! The staff handled it like seasoned professionals, moving food and tables with ease and positive attitudes! My burger was great and the beer selection speaks for itself. Great pregame experience.
Stopped in for dinner & tried a bunch of apps, the hot dog & a burger. Everything was delicious, but the Chicken Satay was next level! Definitely coming back to try again.
The folks at this place are so, so nice. I had a little snafu with online ordering today— the 3rd party app I used canceled my order, and I didn’t realize until I got to the restaurant to pick it up. The manager (?) who greeted me at the front of the restaurant immediately took care of it, and made my to-go order super fast! I think his name was Matt (? based on my receipt, although he might have had someone else ring it up). Anyway, thank you for being so kind and accommodating!
Also, the food was excellent!!! The burger was delicious, and the fries were crispy and very tasty. The salad was excellent too.

This place is pretty cool. Washington is not known for the late night life but we were lucky to find this place so we could grab something to eat.

Like any typical yard house, decent apps and a good selection of drinks. Generally a pretty popular establishment though, so expect a wait time.
Arrived around 5-6pm on a Saturday and was quoted a 1-2 hour wait time, which ended up being closer to 45 minutes.
I’d always recommend getting the half yards if you can drink that much, about 2.5 drinks worth of beer, but it certainly is a visual spectacle.
I missed happy hour on this occasion but they have half off on selected apps which is quite worth it.
The chicken nacho app portions are insane and can function as an entree or easily satisfy 4-6 people.

Nothing about the place was disappointing. Would come back every week if I had one when I lived. Food was so delicious. Drinks were definitely a hit. And I cleaned my plate of dessert. Our waiter named Taylor was exceptional.
The staff was excellent we had a new trainer and he did an excellent job. Food on the other hand was another story it was ok. The Korean bbq steak was good but salty. The turkey club was good but bacon wasn’t cooked all the way. Overall the meals were just okay. The price should also match the food quality and here it didn’t.
My Korean BBQ Cheese Steak ($17.49) had lots of little chunks of ribeye with a delicious and interesting combination of accompanying flavors. I substituted Sweet Potato Fries for $1 extra. They were perfect too. Fast and friendly service.
We came here to hang out before the hockey game and had a great time. Service was spot on, and everyone was super friendly. The choices of brewed beers are almost endless, and you can sample them too! The food was actually better than expected and very tasty. I would have liked to have stayed longer, but we were on a schedule. It was packed when we were there and a little bit on the loud side but not unbearable. I would definitely visit again 👍🏻
I had an amazing experience here today. I came to see if I would like to have my birthday here and it was amazing. I had the pleasure of being served by Jasmine and she was lovely. The food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back!
City Tap really seemed like the place to be on a Sunday night for a party of 4 early evening. Unfortunately, the experience does match others. They food was good; recommend the pulled pork nachos or the signature burger add bacon.

Despite the awful service, the place has a charm to it and the atmosphere is lively.

A reasonably good choice for a friday night when every place if booked out or crowded. Food is good, burger is good indeed. Many choices for drinks exist. Only 4 choices for red wine but the ones listed are OK. Service is prompt and good. Place is too noisy due to crowd, when you are out to the fresh air, you get relieved...
Came here for a private whiskey tasting for my hubby’s bday. It was AMAZING! Matt did an awesome job, asking what type of whiskeys he likes and curating a whole experience for us. We truly appreciate the customer service they provided. The tasting and the experience were great. Everyone had a good time. We had Josh and I can’t remember the bar tender downstairs, but they were so accommodating and attentive my party’s needs.

I went to Barrel DC for a Whiskey Tasting and 5 Course Dinner. It’s honestly something I never thought I’d do but I really enjoyed the entire experience.

The restaurant has two floors but the whiskey tasting was held downstairs. The upstairs of the restaurant is a modern yet casual bar and the lower level is more intimate, the staff was pretty friendly and efficient, they promptly cleaned up after each course and were happy to give us new silverware after each plate.
They have two gender neutral restrooms on site and they have limited street parking available.

Burgers were made to perfection! Our sever was catering and our drinks were always filled. The food came out fresh out of the grill and in a timely manner.
Very fancy steak house with excellent chef and the rest of the staff. Has a bit of a speakeasy feel being tucked away on the second floor above a Subway.
Went for brunch and was able to get in on the heated patio even without a reservation. Unbeatable price if you’re looking for a bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary experience! But even not doing that, still a good spot. The salmon Benedict and quiche were so good. The cinnamon roll wasn’t my vibe (crunchy and not super sweet, so if you like that, get it!). HIGHLY recommend the potato cakes!!! SO YUMMY!

I stopped by with friends and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere of the place. Great selection of beers, I had some extremely yummy prawns, my mates were all very pleased with their choices. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend!
Came here on a Saturday in December for brunch and it was amazing ! College football was on all the TVs and there was good music playing. The service was great and everyone was attentive. The vibe was really cool and rustic but still modern. They also had another restaurant/bar area in the basement from what I remember. Had endless amounts of mimosas but after the first bottle of champagne started to slow down a bit so I could make it through the rest of my day 🤪 Ordered the steak and eggs and honestly it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had - highly reccomend. Would definitely come back for brunch here next time I’m in the city.

Delicious brunch. Love the make your own mimosas. The kitchen was slow but that was fine with the delicious drinks. It was worth the wait the chicken and waffles as fantastic and perfectly cooked. The crab Benny was all crab meat and no filler. The music selection was our speed with 80s tunes and not too loud with college football on but silent. Highly recommend among many brunch possibilities in navy yard and eastern market.

We stopped in for a quick happy hour drink and snack. We had the Pulled Pork Nachos ($8) and a flight of beers ($18). The nachos were really good actually, but the flight of beers was a bit overpriced.
They actually had a pretty nice selection of beers from around the country and a few local ones too. Service was just OK, but everything came out right at least.
Overall pretty good though, I wouldn't feel bad recommending it to a friend.

Calico is a great bar, would come at any time, but really I'm there for Tuesday trivia with Brian. I spent years searching the city for the best trivia night, and really, truly, this is the one. It's hard and it's fun, run by an actual person who actually writes the questions and actually cares. Brian is the best, and Calico is the best because they have Brian.
Stopped at City Tap House as I was walking the area. Enjoyed the City Tap Prime Burger (see pic) for lunch.

Nice place for some food if you are by yourself. Disorganized when came to dividing up group checks like we stated when we got seated. Staff was friendly and somewhat helpful when forgetting a coworkers food. My Chicken pot pie was delicious and I would visit for another. Method of payment was just walk up to bar and figure out what you ordered which was very painful.
The patio is nice, and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. Only some of the 20% service charge actually goes to the staff, but you get taxed on all of it. The juice pouches are OK, but not worth $12 each.
Stopped by for a quick bite of lunch, bar keep was fantastic, you can’t miss her bright red hair. Friendly, kind, polite are just a few words I can use for her service. Atmosphere was pleasant not too loud but enough ambient noise you did feel you had to whisper. The on Tap Root Beer was fantastic paired with the four fathers pizza.

Fun to go for drinks, very cool atmosphere and kind service. My lavender lemonade juice box was really good.
Expansive beer menu. Food menu was comprised of your standard bar fare. Service was good. Ordered mussels and it like having an entire bay in my bowl....so much food and was tasty.

Speakeasy kinda vibes! Great spot for date night, romantic drinks and dinner with your love. Drinks menu is pretty comprehensive and the cocktails are one of the best I have had in this area. They have a patio at the back but close that early and the middle area closes around midnight while the bar is open till close. Only suggestion to them is lower the music levels and gradually dim the lights as the night progresses. Will go back again next time I am in the area.

I had the pleasure of dining in this wonderful little spot on 18th street the food was amazing everything was tasty and the cocktails were to die for I do highly recommend this place everything was spot on I will be returning for another visit. Shout to the server Quinn who was was amazing also very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive to the tables.
I wish they had more of a selection of mixed drinks. Went for brunch, the food was pretty good, we plan to go back to try dinner/lunch. The apples that came with the waffle were too sweet, it felt more like a reduction of apple preserves than what it was supposed to be. I enjoyed The basil candy on top, it was a delightful addition! We also ordered a chicken biscuit it was a very nice biscuit, needed more of that honey butter, but still tasty. The bananas foster French toast was the absolute bomb! But it's more like a dessert, and should be shared. The friend chicken was fried well it was nice and crispy, BUT was under seasoned. And the best part is, it's fried boneless thighs!! My mother ordered grits and was expecting them to come in a bowl, but they came in the form of over toasted grit cakes. The lighting was pretty low but they looked like polenta to me and my husband. My husband ordered the bacon, it came with the rind and in broken pieces. Everyone enjoyed their food. The server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. According to the receipt his name was Conner M. I LOVE their selection of whiskey's and bourbons! Bourbon is one of my favorites!
Ordered the Ribeye and Tri tip. The food looked great. Tri tip was ok, ribeye was practically flavorless. No seasoning. Even with salt, au jux and chimchuri - my wife ended up returning the plate as it was just not good for her. I struggled to cut the Tritip - mostly due to severely dull steak knives.

A group of us came in one rainy Saturday for my girlfriend's post birthday brunch that we had in the neighborhood.
Located in the trendy and popular Blagden Alley.
This bar has both an indoor and outdoor space with their own separate bars. They have a cute patio space that is great for hanging out. Unfortunately, the weather didn't permit us to utilize this great space!
They have a fun cocktail and bar menu. I love the adult juice boxes! We didn't order any food, but the food menu looked good. Next time around, I will have to try the eggplant parmigiana sticks.
