Fantastic place. I had Antonio's special chicken cutlet sandwich and it was delicious.

Been going to the park deli, since the early 80s. Great old school deli. Breakfast sandwiches and heros as well as hot dishes. Food always good.
The owner Antonio..he is the best anything you want to eat .. he will do his best to please your stomach...
Park Delicatessen is the bomb. There German potato salad is to die for as well as the coleslaw and macaroni salad. You want great salads this is the place to go. Definitely worth the trip.
$26.30 for 3 egg sandwiches (no cheese, just egg and bacon) and 3 coffees (small 12 oz coffee not even 16 oz). Cheaper places around with larger coffees and better sandwiches
This place is nostalgic, it's a true deli serving delicious sandwiches, not a corner store selling everything and food.
Used to come here all the time...not any more. A basic sandwich on a hero is like 15$. I rather go to Dominics delii can get the same with a side of chicken fingers for the same price
Customer service was awesome but the food not so much ! Didn’t include the topping I asked for on my sub and the sandwich was overpriced for the amount I received !
This deli is absolutely wonderful! The food is always fresh, there is a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, snacks, baked goods, and pizza options! The entire staff is super friendly and it's moderately priced which makes it even better. They've never gotten my order wrong when I order over the phone and are always prompt with the order. Would highly recommend this deli!
I picked up delicious pupusas from there for an event and noticed they also make all different types of empanadas! So I ordered some to try out, because I try them from everywhere I can.
They turned out to be the best empanadas I’ve had in a long time! They did not give me heart burn or anything! Sooooo tasty yum yum! Definitely going to go back.
Also-I thought I would need to know Spanish to go in there and that was not the case at all. The owner speaks perfect English. The owner runs the place with his wife and they are just an adorable happy couple!

Posting 1 star so management can see. I asked for a western omelette, I used to always get it here- came with ham and American cheese. I drove 15 minutes each way because I no longer work in the area. Got home and the cheese was mozarella cheese with a western?? WTH? And turkey not ham. I called and was really nice, not even asking for a refund just letting them know so this doesn't happen again and the only response I got from the cashier over the phone was "i mean I can ask her???" I let her know I wouldn't want to drive and have the same thing happen to me so they should let the cook know what goes in a western and all she said was 'ok'. No apology... no offer to come back and make a new one. I used to eat this deli everyday for four years straight .. couldn't believe the level of customer service incompetency this morning. Please talk to your cashier about what to do in this situation. Food is too expensive right now to be getting it wrong and not even say sorry.
No one, I mean no one makes a better grilled chicken. I've been searching for years. Look no further! Staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are super affordable and portions are fit for a King. Place is a bit messy though.
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The sandwiches are tasty and full. The potato and macaroni salads are also tasty. The best for miles around. I actually drive 5 miles from home to go there.
Don't eat here. The chicken cutlet was old, stale, and made me sick. They didn't even get my order right. I double checked to make sure they put cheese, mayo, and hot sauce and they confirmed it. Only for the sandwich to have none of these things at all.

I asked for an avocado sandwich, but they refused to put avocados in the sandwich, even though I was charged for an avocado sandwich. I rarely say this about New York Delis, but this place is a complete scam. Please dont come here.
Great food and great people behind the counter. I was looking for a new local breakfast spot this morning and I ended up picking this deli. I was blown away by all the food that was in front of me. I got the pupusas because I saw in other reviews people raving about them. They were right, it was the best one I’ve had. Along with that I ordered a creamy chicken cordon bleu with rice and it was the best thing I’ve tasted in new Hyde park in a while. All in a friendly deli. Best local home cooked food. Will be coming back!
If I can give this place a 10 Star I would. I ordered from Uber Eats and I cant stop talking about how good there food is. Not only was the food delicious, I received very plush napkins and extra condiments. Small things like this goes unnoticeable but this restaurant delivers it. I would defiantly order from here again :)
If you want to eat food like grandma used to make then this is the place, the food is excellent, the mom and pop deli is still here a must try
The Asian cook is so rude! He was stocking and attempted to take my order; I asked him to change his gloves and he started yelling and having an attitude! Furthermore, he made my order wrong and started yelling again! Do not support this establishment! The Health Department should really take a look at this establishment because they are not changing their gloves and we are leaving in pandemic times! I will never again visit this deli

I was extremely disgusted when I saw two workers making out on the station where they cut our meats. It’s disgraceful. They are not clean at all and I’ve seen multiple dead flies when I bring my food home. I asked for extra napkins and the man didn’t speak English he gave me a dirty look and spit in my napkins and meat. For this I’d have to rate it zero stars but unfortunately the minimum is 1 so this will do.
I went into the store to buy a 1/2 pound of chicken salad the woman gave it to me and charged me $6.75 as startedhand me back my change she said yes I said that's kind of a high price she started yelling and screaming for me to get out of the store when I asked for my money back she told me no you can't have your money back now leave I feel she was very very disrespectful and unprofeessional. Never going back
I ordered a Mac and cheese half pound and 1 chicken cutlet and was charged 5 dollars for a chicken cutlet total came out to 12.50 for a small Mac and cheese with chicken.... then when I questioned it the lady gave me attitude and told me if I dont like it dont come back... great way to treat someone who goes to your store and has his employees go there and the food isn't even good. Chicken is rubber and mac and cheese is dry
Went to pick up some food and it would be a few more minutes. So I got a chance to watch them all preparing for the lunch rush. There's nothing like food that was prepared perfectly. These women should be proud if the job they do. It's easy to overlook the work that goes into freshly prepared. Incredible and I can't wait to go back. You owe it to yourself to try a restaurant in your own neighborhood that you didn't even realize was there and how good it was. I should of taken a picture of the food. No more smashed cheese burger from the big chains. Open your mind to ideas for lunch and try these small privately owned places. They take so much pride into their work. Many cultures see cooking as a privilege, this seems to be one of them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing el salvadorian food. Excellent pupusas and cheap delicious tacos. The bacon egg and cheese and iced coffee for breakfast is on point. They also have buffet style food with great steak, pork, chicken, pasta, etc. Amazing assortment of drinks in the back and relatively cheap. Staff is very friendly and the owner is a genuine and great guy. Highly highly recommend!
Hi I just picked up 2 sandwiches I got a godfather and a turkey sandwich on a roll, the turkey sandwich was made perfectly and it was stacked with turkey, however The Godfather was a disappointment, I’ve gotten The Godfather a couple times before and it wasn’t the same, there was barely any meat on it and the bread was stale like the sandwich was sitting there for a while. I’ll probably give this sandwich spot another try, hopefully is better next time
My favorite deli spot in Long Island! Everyone is friendly, attentive and the place is extremely clean.
The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. They have a variety of different sandwiches, wraps and cooked foods. I truly recommend for anyone that’s looking for a hearty meal!

Unfortunately there are only maybe 2 people in here who make good sandwiches. I love the place, and the food is fantastic but this is now 4 times I have gone in for lunch only to get back to my office with an incorrectly made sandwich. Today was supposed to be grilled chicken with prosciutto and fresh mozz, instead of proscioutto they gave me red peppers. I don't have time to always wait for the one guy who I can trust behind the counter, so I doubt I will return.

I was advised to sign up for there customer list by one of my coworker to win a free lunch. I really didn't think much of it but guess what? I won a free lunch today. As I walked in I was greeted by a wonderful worker. The interior was beautiful and there were so many options to choose from. The place was clean and welcoming. What I would like to compliment was how helpful the chef was. This is a great place for a small party or to even have a meal by yourself. They have a cooperate menu and a variety of choices to choose from. Last but not least, the sandwich I received today was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place. Go ahead, join there customer list and check them out!
Food is good quality. Customer service is ok. They would have gotten 5 Stars but, they are sneaky and deceitful. On there tossed salad menu they have a salad with a choice of different toppings. Nothing on that menu or even in the store that says that you will be charged more for more than one protein. This is so wrong and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau for not being forthcoming in their under handed pricing.
This is a review strictly on the pricing of water. I came in to buy a gallon of Poland spring water only. The price for Regular Gasoline today is $2.71. The price of a gallon of whole milk today is $2.99....this place charged me....wait for it.... $3.99 for this one gallon of water!!!! How can you charge people prices for things like that for the little things? Shame on you. I wouldn't even give you the opportunity to rate your food after such thievery.
Unassuming deli could use a facelift but glad I overlooked that and went in and tried their delicious sandwich wraps freshly made on the grill.
Not bad service at all, I had a good service, food came quick and gentlemen were really nice. Maybe better greeting the customer, like a 'Hey how are you.. ' Building relationships with customers is number 1 to me.
