Compared to other ice cream places in the city, I think the prices here are way too high. This is a result of its location in the middle of touristic north beach. A waffle cone ice cream is 8$ but they don’t even have home made waffle cones. I do keep returning here because the ice cream is really good. It’s so creamy. I always get hazelnut brownie which is so good.

Siciliano is legitimately one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Will be back many, many times.
TLDR: cheap Banh mi and tasty food, would definitely come back

I got the bbq pork banh mi and the bread was just right without scratching the roof of my mouth. The roast pork has fat as well so it adds lot of flavor. The vegetables make it seem very fresh as well. With the pate, it came out to $8 which is a great deal for this day and age.

Best gelato in the city. Don’t sleep on it. Worth the price !
Nice folks and decent value, but flavor and quality of ingredients just isn't there.

The staff was super pleasant and polite, letting us taste and choose our ice cream.
Their ice cream was super delicious and unique. They have a bunch of flavours and sizing opinions.
They had a huge variety of unique flavours that I only found in several stores in SF( like green tea, black sesame, etc).
Their pricing was also very fair.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great service and ice cream!!
Haven’t been here in years but had to pick up food for my kids since Krispy krunchy chicken next door was closed on Tuesdays. Ordered two egg banh mi’s plain and the shop didn’t question it at all. Paid cash and it was ready pretty quickly. My kids enjoyed them and I want to come back to try other sandwiches!
Stopped in for a gyro after a long walk. Friendly staff and nice vibes. Doubles as a convenience store so you can buy tampons while you eat your sandwich
Ordered catering from here for a company lunch. Guests came up to me for hours afterwards talking about how good the food was. I highly recommend the gyro sandwich!

The service is incredible and the man usually working the counter is great and accommodating. We had 2 vegans at our lunch and they were able to easily make vegan sandwiches for them as well.
Cute little deli-style place for gyro and hummus food. The menu is very small and limited, but the food is fresh and made to order. The hummus was a generous portion, but very strong on the tahini and could have used more salt and seasoning. The gyro place was delicious with very fluffy rice and a nice yogurt sauce on the side. The grape leaves were some of the best I’ve had! Overall, for $33 it was a solid amount of food. We sat outside on the little table.
The male owner is very rude. He literally yelled at me when I tried to pay for my breakfast takeout with $20.02 for a total of $19.92. He threw back my 2 cents and gave me 8 cents in return. He could have politely explained to me that his business doesn't take pennies, but he chose a very rude and stupid approach to treat his customers. I have never encountered such a rude owner before and will never come to this restaurant again. There are many other good Vietnamese restaurants in the Sunset district.

Amazing amazing amazing. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and the lamb meat was some of the best I've ever had. The yogurt was so refreshing too. The gentleman at the counter was so friendly and welcoming as well. I'm from Canada and stopped by here during my road trip - so worth it!

I wouldn't call this place a "hole in the wall type joint", per se, but it definitely gave me that vibe. There weren't that many people there, except for a chill young guy behind the counter making all the food, and an older gentleman who appeared to be cleaning things. I got the red-pepper bread and the falafel wrap, both were pretty good. The falafel wrap was pretty satiating, and it had a bunch of varied fillings.

A tip: pay attention to the price of what you get. It will tell you generally how much food you get. Those cheaper options may not be enough for a full meal, if you're looking for that.

Give this place another try. I got a combo sandwich taste just ok kind of dry and not much taste. Lack of pate and mayo. Banh Mi & Rolls in San Bruno ave is better.
Lovely place! Food were decent after a hike. I enjoyed the bread and lentil soup. Hummus was not very flavorful. Overall we loved the experience here, sitting outside and watching the neighborhood area while we ate.
Great service.
I love this place!
The guys who work inside are super nice and every dish we got recommended was delicious!
The flat bread had a delicious taste, the wrap was amazing.
Hardly recommended from Italian girls!

Stopped in to grab some take out for family I was visiting in town. The guy were very helpful getting food picked out and it did take a bit longer to make but very worth it! My family that lives in town will definitely be in again. Place was clean, has a small food market as well with Organic options. Was sad the fresh juices were not available but it was winter so no worries.
Small shop, super friendly, good prices. I got a chicken Banh Mi and their Thai Tea. Both good! Only downside is that they are cash only when you order at the counter. But you can order online if you’re short on cash.
Really good banh mi. Cash only unless you order online- they’re pretty fast if you order at the door anyways. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the city but I haven’t found a better one in this part of the sunset, at least yet :)

The cutest corner deli spot you ever did see. I've only gone here for gelato, but you can get so much other stuff - sandwiches, wine, you name it!

As for the gelato, it's always delicious and pretty affordable. I love how the store is open late, so you can stop by after a trip to Club Fugazi or any number of bars in the area. Definitely a gem in the neighborhood.

I ordered the Vegan Sandwich close to closing, and it was pretty busy, which was a great sign. Super nice and bright inside with lots of colorful stuff to look at. My sandwich took longer than 2 seconds to make which is a GOOD thing, the cook took time preparing it and it ended up being amazing. Based on the amount of people rolling into here and the super nice workers, you can instantly tell this is a good place 🙂Would definitely recommend. And look at how my sandwich was served with the napkins… ingenious!! So good 🤤
Decent meal, good price. Pro tip: order through Yelp or Grubhub for takeout and you can use a card. Otherwise, it's cash only.

Stopped by randomly for a bite to eat and ordered the veggie sandwich. Quite honestly, it was one of the best damn sandwiches I’ve eaten in my entire life. It was absolutely stacked with fresh flavors and left me thinking about it for hours. 13/10 good.

Starting to really love this place!

We stopped here again before going to Presidio picnic. Had a small pistachio gelato ($3.75) scoop which was amazing!!!

We also bought 2 sandwiches to go (toscano and romano $11.95 each). Loved the Toscano more. Sandwiches were big so good to share.

Bought more beer and they are very nice to give you some ice with it so it keeps the beer cool. Want to come again to try more of their ice cream flavors. That pistachio though...still on my mind!
