Nice local store, items are definitely overpriced, but if you live nearby and need something quickly this place is a good option.

When shopping here keep an eye out for the expiry dates, especially on the meats. Some of the stuff is very close to expiry, so you may want to reach a little further back for the newer products.

Overall, decent range but only come here if it's a must.

The prices are incredibly steep here, with $4 for a 70g bag of chips, $8 for a tiny container of soup and $9 for sanitary pads. They also have items on discount at the front which have all gone out of date. The quality of the items is quite poor too - the dips are always slightly warm and an odd consistency when compared to the same brand I’ve bought from Coles or Woolworths. The crackers always seem to have just recently been thawed, after being frozen, which is quite an odd thing that I haven’t encountered before. It makes them easily breakable and a different consistency. The fruit is also of lower quality - the apples were soft and mushy. I know the rent would be high at a location like this, but having essential items like sanitary pads at $9 a pack when the same brand is usually $3, is unacceptable.

I am really sick of buying food that taste stale here. Milk that doesn’t taste like anything probably because of the lighting in the fridge. Coffee from the shelf that taste like mold probably because it is out of date because there is no date due on it. Bread that taste tasteless from the boutique company that is on the top of the bread shelf that just taste like flour and water but it’s very very expensive, and it gives you a very bad stomachache probably because it is not made properly. all biscuits, as well, over priced but very average and nothing very special at all. Brands that used to be here have disappeared that were pretty good but now there is nothing. Even cheeses that I have bought have been off probably because of the fridge once again. Every now and then however some specials do appear with the vegetables here and there which is OK. A lot of things however cost a third more or more than the supermarkets up the road.
I mean really, it is nice that we have a convenience store but it is very Inconvenient if it is like this. I am not sure if it is the owner which it probably is that doesn’t really keep a tag on things or likes to overprice things for average things. The prices are at gourmet prices but there is nothing gourmet about it. We are not all rich around here. I’m wondering if that’s why it is also overpriced because maybe the owner thinks we are all millionaires. There is a mixture of people around here there is some housing commission, people with low incomes and part time jobs, lower middle income and some above. Yes it is mixed up but not really a lot of higher income in general to some other suburbs along the north shore.

Yes there are some millionaires possibly on the water side but not many I feel, because some of them are actually falling down, the houses that is .
Even if you were or are loaded with money the value of the food here is not worth coming in for.

Please sort out your dairy fridge because the lighting affects the product. Temperatures affect the product. The products taste like cement. Why? Why don’t you get onto it. I am sick of wasting my money here out of desperation because I can’t make it to the big supermarket because I am in pain. I would shop here more often if it was better and fresher tasting. And I do not have a taste or smell problem either because of anything that is going around. So please don’t blame it on that. I have been living in the area for more than 10 years now. I am sick of seeing out of due or off food here.
