A haven, tucked away in South East Cornwall with views across the River Lynher. Some of the most spectacular camellias and bluebells we've seen! Enjoyed a delicious cream tea at Broomhill Tearoom by the garden entrance too.

Antony Woodland Garden is my most favourite of green spaces in the SW. I’ve been going for years, alone, with kids, with friends, during covid and whatever the reason it’s always been a special time. Even with what appears to be lots of visitors you still find yourselves alone and uninterrupted. Space enough for everyone to feel like it’s all yours. The lay out, the trees, the art works, the river side all mash together for somewhere really quite special. It’s a magical place that is reminiscent of a bygone era out of a story book. No surprises Alice in Wonderland was filmed there. We love you Antony Woodland gardens <3

Antony Woodland Garden has two excellent walks. One more formal with various camellia and azalea bushes (which are stunning in the Spring). The walk has modern sculptures one of a green man was almost missed so cleverly was it placed. The walk takes you to the shore of the river Lynher. The second walk is through natural woodland where a ruin of a dovecote can be seen which dates from Tudor times. The walks are circular and we finished by having tea and cakes at the tea room by the entrance to the gardens. On a hot day the shade of the trees was very welcome.

What a hidden gem this wonderful garden is....and I found it purely by chance!! With Antony House not serving drinks due to covid I left and went 400 metres down the road as directed by the NT staff. The Broomhill Cottage cafe has a super garden and serve various lunches, homemade cakes and drinks. And...lo and behold behind this cottage is the most fantastic garden with glorious paths, beautiful flowers and fauna and super views of the river Lynher and river Tamar. The combination of bluebells and garlic is a feature and everywhere there are vast carpets of blue and white colour swaying in the breeze. For the price of £30 per year you and another adult ( not named )plus 3 children can visit and enjoy this special place. Thanks Antony House for not opening your cafe.....huge mistake. This place is better....and cheaper.

We've had a good walk here in the past but on arrival this Easter were surprised to see that we would need to buy an annual pass to walk in any of the garden. This is because the main lower garden is not linked to the house which is National Trust. At £30 each we just felt we wouldn't make the most of it and walked to the top of the Estate instead. Here we got lost in a maze of Woodland paths and stumbled across these gates which overlooked the house. They seem to serve no purpose anymore other than drawing your eye to the house and beyond.

Plenty of beautiful little spots and tea rooms to take a moment. Fairly easy walking, with only a few gradients to challenge those that aren't so athletic.

Lovely woodland walks around the Antony Estate. Looking out for the green man, Jupiter point, the bath house etc. Acres of beautiful flowers, shrubs & trees makes the scenery breathtaking. Along the river estuary, the views are spectacular. Then walking up through the avenue of tress to the house is amazing. Highly recommended.

Amazing gardens, with masses of Bluebells, also Rhododendrons the size of trees! I haven't taken as many photos for years...Also there's the N.T. House, well worth a visit too!
