Great place to stay in Barcelona!
Very communicative place with clean and specious apartments. Awesome reception staff too.
If you wish to visit the majority of Barcelona landmarks it’s takes 30-60 min walking from the apartments.
The place is easy to find by bus, tram or underground because it’s located in the center of the city.
Be aware that if you look it up on Google it will show a one way road but now it is changed to pedestrian street.
If you get there by car Parking Roma is right in front of the apartments and they are very punctual and honest people to work with!
And use this location if you are going by car. Type El Árbol - Aribau and it will take to the pedestrian part of the street where you can enter it with a car.
We loved it and our stay was very enjoyable.

My apartment was completely different from the apartment in the pictures advertised, I booked with Barcelona city apartment because of the pics with spacious rooms with a balcony, good windows and good faculties, instead I got a small ground floor studio apartment with no external window, located next to the main entrance of the building so it was very noisy with people coming in and out all of the time, very little natural light, no plug socket near the bed and the shower wasn't very good, very disappointed for the price that I paid.
The location is good and the apartment was clean but definitely not worth what I paid for it, even for Barcelona prices.

Great experience.
Everything was excellent from the beginning till the end with check-in and check out.
Luggage was kept for us for free helping us to enjoy till the last minute.

This is a big party place now. Party drunk animal people below and above us. They shouting everywhere. They slam the door and hitting the walls. I tried to speak with them but nothing happened. I called the owner also. First time she told me that they will speak with them but the party is still going. Second time I couldn't reach them. The cigarette ashes just constantly falling from above on the balcony. The walls are very thin so impossible to sleep normally in this disaster. Every single night and early morning is a horror. We just try to survive somehow the rest of the days. We came to work here so it's very hard to live with this.

The drunk tourists are constantly shouting and banging and so the stay in the apartment is terrible because it is usually done at night

Our apartment at Wello was great! Exactly what we needed after staying in hotels for the first 2/3 of our journey. More room to spread out, two bedrooms, a washing machine, and a kitchen! Oh, and a balcony out our 4th floor apartment! We loved our time at Wello, and will definitely stay there again.

We booked a room at wello for 4 people for 5 nights. although from the beginning some standards for cleanliness seemed excessive to me, despite these we made the reservation. I thought it was funny for 4 people for 5 days to leave two toilet papers and have a bin that only holds one, probably their purpose will be to not use it at all. In general, the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable, but since we bought sanitary items, we didn't complain. luckily they had left bath towels... I don't think it was the cleanest room, as far as dust and sheets are concerned. also, although we were generally away from the room every day, we didn't need the internet that much, we realized on the third day that it wasn't working, but and we never made any complaint... what angered me is when at check out they asked us at the reception if we had any complaint and when we told them about the internet issue they indirectly told us that "yes we entered the room when you were away to change the code" the question is since they got in why didn't they tell us earlier? since they changed the code, why didn't they tell us the new one? during check out they went up and checked if the room is as they received it and returned the guarantee that we have given... if something had been broken during their entry and we didn't know about it and the situation was complicated? they have a limit of 5 days to come in to clean and they came in for the internet? what a joke!I'm also impressed by the negative comments I read later and the owner who doesn't seem to respond...if I had to stay in barcelona again, for my safety, I wouldn't stay at Wello.

We rented one of the rooms for a week (Family 2+2). The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We have very nice memories of our stay. I might stay there again on my next trip. I recommend :)

Electricity problems in the building and they are slow to respond and help

Just like to sleep on the street. So noisy. The room facing on the street s unbearable impossible to sleep. The work starts at 8 am. Since there s ongoing construction work. Fortunately, The staff is helpful . Help us to change to the roof top room not facing on the street. We had 2 nights good sleep with that. The rest s fine. Good location quite clean.

It was really bad experience. The owner stolen my money. I paid him city tax for my daughter 1 year old and he knew that i didn’t need to pay for her and he has never gave it back to me. Also i paid city tax 4,5 euros per a person but originally it is 3,5 euros. Also the owner was rude . Did not answer to my questions. Also i needed to pay 300 euros deposit . But no mention about it in the description on airbnb.(and he told me that he will give it back to me only in 14 days!!!!)
Also he has taken additional 50 euros from us because we didn’t throw away the rubbish. He has stolen our money.
The apartment was dirty especially windows.
The bathroom lock doesn’t work, the door was broken and everything looks dirty and old.
I don’t recommend this place!I had really bad experience with it. Please be careful!

I wouldn't wish this place on my enemy!

From beginning:
1)A few days before my arrival I got a message that I need to leave 300deposit. It is okay, but in the description there is no info about it.
2) When they charged 50 euro additional tax of my 1.5years daughter and in rude form explained that everything is correct, but it didn’t and it makes me nervous and think about this lie.
3) They ignored me when I started to ask about to provide me a bank statement to see how much euro they got from me (I paid using Usd card)
4) The apartment is in a pretty run-down condition. (only kit heck is good) The shower is broken. windows are dirty, some doors are broken. No love and no cozy. They have big TV which is not working (any channels, you can connect HDMI only)
5) They aggressive and rude from the beginning i arrived. They say that they are busy.
6) Then when I asked about returning my deposit they said 10-14 days after checkout!!! (In other platform i read that some people lose their deposit!)
7) airbnb confirmed about the mistake in city tax but the owner didn’t return it and i am tired to fight for this money (i hate the fact that someone stole my little, but money.
8) Then charged 50 euro because I didn’t clean dishes and didn’t swept the floor;)

My, my family got stressed staying there. Next time I will check about apartments on all platforms before booking.

Beware of this place. Literally daylight scamming. They held our deposit and charged us for a blind that was already broken when we arrived and which we ourselves reported to them.

Came here in 2019 for a birthday part for my friend, the hotel itself is a bit outdated.

Our room was clean and cosy but there was a big problem, our window had no outside view only a massive brick wall in front.
So it felt like we was in a prison, not seeing any outside world was a very uncomfortable feeling during holiday.

On the plus side there was a beautiful rooftop view. But be careful the lift that takes you up has seen better days.

We had a lovely stay at Wello Luxury Apartments! The unit was extremely clean and perfectly large enough for my husband and me. The location was good, close to good food and not right next to the main touristy hub which was nice. About 25 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter, too. The self check in process was easy for us coming in after hours. And the staff at the front desk was very kind! :)

The reality is different then what is in the present pictures. Internet working very slow or not. Damaged furnitures, very noisy washing machine. Clean beds and rooms inside, windows outside not cleaned. To expensive for how it looks.

The apartments were pretty nice, kitchen and bathroom also. The enterance is clean and the biggest advantage for tourists is nearby beach, which is 10 minutes walk from the apartment. For young visitors the big advantage are the clubs nearby like Razzmatazz, Pacha or Opium.

Really great location! Not far from the beach. But apartment really need renovations. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and some strange smell all over the apartment and a dirty balcony

È stato molto negativo il soggiorno presso questa struttura, servizio assistenza inesistente, pur indicando su internet h24, chiamando alle 01:00 al numero da loro indicato non rispondeva nessuno. Personale che entra in appartamento senza nessun tipo di avviso o informazione. Sconsiglio veramente di non frequentare questa "struttura".

Spain is a very costly place to travel, specially for Indian due to currency devaluation. Our stay was highly satisfying due to Spanish Siesta. Rooms were very good with location. Overall a superb option.

I travel a lot and I have never been in such aweful Place ever.
1.When you are booking you see completely another pictures of the room.
2.The room was very dirthy, had a very bad smell, air conditioning didn’t work well and was very noisy, so it was a nightmare to sleep there.
3.It is said that they have a parking, but it is just a lie. it is almost impossible to find a parking spot around. We left the car in another part of the city and walked there more than an hour.
4. The worst part of the place was the stuff, they were very unpleasant, didn’t answer to our questions and never cleaned the room.

Overall: If you want to enjoy your trip to Barcelona, Never, just Never choose this terrible place.

Horrible place to stay - no heating, no Wi-Fi, broken shower and it smells like something rotten in the pipes.
The host wouldn't fix any of those things or even come to check.
Just stay anywhere else..

Good location and design. The apartment has everything but a dryer (although you can hang your clothes outside 、which save power) I wish they would have provided an extra set of linens so I could have changed my bed.

Rented a 2 bedroom apartment for a 40th girls getaway. Apartment was clean, spacious for 4 and at a great location. Definitely recommend!

Small apartment but rather very convenient. It is priced perfect person not only the apartment.

Clean, spartan, can't see from your own veranda due to rattan type barrier fastened to the structure, the patio area is shared but private,does have a good unobstructed view of most of the city. We were lucky as we were on the seventh floor and it was outside the door, so it was handy for us. The steps were narrow and steep and would give problems to someone with mobility issues. The lift is the smallest I've ever been in, frankly I would not share it with a stranger. 2 people up to medium build. Lack of information in the rooms. To do with anything including fire or any other emergency services. Nothing much in the foyer exept stuff left buy previous guests. That said it suited us we were left alone, I assume if we needed information or assistance it would be available for the asking as the people in charge were friendly and approachable. Good location for the fountains, and other sites are within walking distance. Town and the marina are easy to reach using public transport which is closebye, walking possible if your energetic. Places to eat and drink are plentiful locally and its a nice area of the city. I would happily stay there again, but if I visited I would proberbly look elsewhere just to get a different feel of the city.

The appartement was good. Not too far from the subway. It was too noisy though.

Fine appartments, clean and organized with plenty of space. Everything is nearby and in close range. Good for small groups and couples!

The apartment was lovely. Well situated and big... HOWEVER, the hot water was not hot, it was borderline warm. When we explained this to reception, they said someone would come round to fix it while we were out. I then find a half eaten kebab in one of the cupboards!!! We also told reception about this and again told it would be dealt with. When we returned to the apartment a few hours later, we expected everything to be sorted... NOPE! The water was still barley hot and the kebab was still in the cupboard (I refused to clean it up - why should I?)... We decided to leave it at that and get on with our holiday, as I didn't want to spend my break moaning about things. These 2 things is why I haven't given it 5*. I would have done if things had been sorted.
PS I left the kebab in the cupboard....

The place was a bit old and chilly at night. Shower had to be held with one hand. But a nice big place and the receptionist spoke perfect English. Elevator works. Good value for little money. Location worked great for us.

Prior to our arrival, I received approximately eight emails from them asking me to fill in a few details to make my check-in quicker. The username and password supplied didn't work. I told them this three times and their response was to send me the same request multiple times. This was infuriating to say the least, and a sign of things to come.

Our check-in was good, except we were not expecting to have to pay in full before our stay was over.

On arrival at our apartment we understood why they wanted to be paid upfront. The apartment was tiny, and much smaller than the photos made it look on the website. I expected basic, but not this small. Only one of our two cards worked to unlock the apartment door. There were only 5 clothes hangers for 3 people!

The view from the balcony was very nice.

Our first night was awful. The two beds in the bedroom were incredibly squeaky, and made a terrible noise every time either of us moved. Thus resulted in both if us being woken up constantly through the night as the other moved during our sleep. We were exhausted the next morning. After complaining to the management, I was rather condescendingly told that wooden beds all make a little noise. The four wooden beds in my house don't make a sound, and this was like nails-on-a-blackboard type sound, not a distant rodent. I've tried to upload a video of the noise so you can make up your own mind, but to no avail. It was ridiculous.

Our companion on the sofa bed did not fare well either. He found it extremely uncomfortable and was disturbed throughout the night by noise from the air conditioning unit, which was actually switched off.

The hot water in the shower ran out after two of us showered for around 3-5 minutes each.

We went down to the office (up the street and around the corner) to complain the next morning to find it was closed for the weekend. Not good at all.

Our solution to the squeaky beds was to put the mattresses on the floor, which solved the noise problem but was very uncomfortable. We had to choose discomfort over being woken up many times during the night.

On Sunday morning we decided to go to the terrace to relax before going out for the day, only to find the door locked at 10.30am, 2.5 hours after it was meant to be open.

My emailed complaints fell on deaf ears.

Avoid this dump like the plague.

Very good place to stay. Very big apartments 6 people can use it comfortably. Has all the necessary appliances and furniture even for longer stays.

Be careful - reception is located elsewhere

How can someone say this place is good, is the most disgusting place I have ever being to, the refrigator, is so old that I have no idea what year was made, the curtain it suppost to be white and is gray, falling apart, the smell that comes from the outside faucet that can make you throw up, the bed and pillows are so thi, cheap and unconfortable, everything about his apt is disgusting, i am not kidding. I was there only few hrs and in the middle of the night two men outside in the ally started to urgue that didn't let anyone sleep. The sliding door dosen't have a curtain to cover the sunlight that comes in the morning so you wake up immediate when the sun comes out. THe towels in the bathroom are so old, ugly and they look like they need plenty bleach. The location of this place is so disappointed, you need to walk down in a dark alley that is not safe at all specially if you arrived at night like I did.
So, for those of you out there, please reseach before renting, this place is a rat trap house, they don't even provide you with drinking water bottles, or make you feel comfortable when you arrive at the location.

Horrible communication. There's no reception/lobby and you have to go to a completely different part of town to check in & get keys which adds 20€ round trip to your stay and an extra hour. If we hadn't been told by a friendly resident how to get there we would have been stranded indefinitely. Highly don't recommend.

Appartement 1-2 stank of cigarettes. Was dusty. Couldn't sleep due to noisy neighbours above. Noise from street kept kids awake. Solved a problem as we needed somewhere to stay in Barcelona for two nights but would not go back. Airco in living room buzzed every five minutes so it had to be turned off to sleep. It was the peak of summer so that was no fun. Plus side, it had a washing machine so we could wash all clothing between camping but that's about it.

Dirty on arrival. Sandy floor, failing electricity so the air condition didn't work nor the warm water. The electricity was fixed after 5 days. It was the warm water heater.

But it was said to be cleaned every day when we booked. It was not.

Aluguei apartamentos com eles em Barcelona e Madri, o serviço é excelente e os apartamentos são muito bonitos, céntricos, puro luxo. Tenho muita vontade de visitar Sevilha, vou voltar com o BE!

Dear customers. I'm a neighbour of this apartments and I'm tired about listening the tourists wasting time waiting for someone to meet them with the keys, sometimes during the whole morning. If you try to contact with them is always almost impossible, because it's not easy to find them on the net. Reception desk doesn't exist.

Se trata de apartamentos nuevos y modernos muy bien situados al lado del parque Ciutadella en el barrio olímpico. El check in se hace en un hotel en el eixample que pilla de paso con el taxi desde el aeropuerto.
Este método esta bien porque siempre hay gente en recepción y no te has de esperar.
Tienen una maquina Nespresso en cada apartamento con Cafe gratis.

Great little apartment, with everything we needed to make our stay in Barcelona easy. Would definitely stay here again. It even has an Italian coffee press, and the best shower I have EVER had (and I've stayed in a lot of places and had a lot of showers)! 😊

Very modern, air conditioned and with a beautiful rooftop garden! Make sure to see it in the night too, if you stay here. Although the place is noisy during the day, it usually settels down by night. Has decent Wi-Fi too.
