Ms.Page is a wonderful person at this location for her role at this place and residents speaks highly of her. Assisted living coordinator.
Senior independent housing set on a nice campus. St Rita is one of three apartments. The campus has a main building that provides rehabilitation, nursing home care, and hospice. The campus is nice, and the grounds are well maintained. Saint Rita offers spacious 1 - and 2-bedroom units, which are income based. Activities are available for residents to participate in, and you can purchase lunches Monday through Friday for a reasonable fee. The building itself is not maintained well. Needs interior painting and cosmetic repairs. Overall, it is a decent place to call home.

The previous reviews are accurate. My relative was in the nursing home in the main building. We received frequent calls begging us to get them out of there. STNAS would come in and turn the service light off and tell the resident they will come back rather than take a couple of minutes to resolve the issue. Frequent discussions regarding poor service with the staff, including top management ,were useless all we got were excuses. We were told “ you need to be patient or we are short staffed.” STNAs told our relative “if you don’t like it MOVE “and “it’s not my job” when they asked for help. Jennings had a stellar reputation 30 years ago, but it’s not 1990 anymore. Our relative is now happy in a new facility where the staff cares and is compassionate.

Beautiful facility with great options for the patients. Too large of a patient load for the nurses and aides with very little appreciation of the incredibly hard work put in. Spend less $$$ on decor and patio flowers and more on staffing. Patient's want care and families want prompt polite interactions. With safe staffing to patient ratios this place could be better than a resort.

Do not use them for Hospice Care!!!!!! The staff is not trained for hospice care, and to make things even worse...... I found out that my dad had died over the phone while I was at work ! That isn't something that you are supposed to tell anyone over the phone, you call the family to the facility, then inform them of their loved ones passing. No full time Hospice Team

Currently it is Christmas Eve. My parents hardly have any heat coming out of their registers so they have resorted to using the heat off of the burners on their stove.
They have contacted maintenance but the voice mail is full. I contacted the front desk and no one answers. I don’t know what is going to happen. I know they have a little heater for one bedroom but not the other.

My Dad is currently a resident in the long term care facility. No doubt a tough transition from being independent last year to now depending on someone for everything. It’s been a tough transition for me too, but I feel my Dad is in the best place and receiving the best care.

From his nurses(George, Steve and sorry I forgot the overnight nurses name) to Tammy in social work, Teresa and everyone in the wellness and therapy departments and Alice in Finance. I couldn’t be happier with how they treat my Dad and how they’ve helped me and my Dad navigate this often painful, stressful journey.

My Aunt, Virginia Erskine was a resident of Jennings for about eight years before passing during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff always took very good care of her and worked hard to always make her comfortable. Through her eight year stay at Jennings she encountered only one staff member that was rude and didn't believe in Jennings Mission statement. To our relief, this employee was terminated quickly after she was hired. As my Aunts time was nearing we decided to use Hospice through Jennings so she could stay in her comfortable room. We were very pleased with her care.

My mother Placed herself here thinking this was a GREAT PLACE! Because she lived right in the
Community complex where Jennings is. She was living in Saint Rita’s apartments. She could still talk had a lot of energy and was in her right mind, she did have some health issues, swelling of the legs due to her heart conditions and cancer in her kidneys, but she had no dementia or Alzheimer’s. She was only supposed to be there for a short while for physical therapy to help her walk again and then receive surgery to remove cancer. My mother now has the coronavirus from this facility three of their staff members had Covid and gave it to several residents. My mother is currently in the hospital and not doing too well, the communication here is horrible and I feel like the care On the second floor was careless with no empathy for the residents. There is so much more I could say, but I’ll just leave it in the hands of Jesus and continue to pray to God for my mother and all the other residents there. 10/25/2020
