I am utterly disappointed with the management. The property manager refused to lease the vacant apartment, claiming it wasn't vacant, but then rented it to a Muslim family on the same day—a family known to a coworker of mine. It appears that preference is being given only to Muslim people. Good luck to anyone else trying to rent this place if you're not Muslim.

Oak on the green is is home away from home, safe community, reliable electricity, water supply, garbage disposal, clean environment, quick response for maintenance safe packing environment, close proximity to school and busses, close proximity to all kinds of shopping, gas station, medical and banks.
The best part is the fire station in close door neabour so, fire hazard is a thing of the past, elevator air being replaced and also repaired on time.
So with my experience in living in this place for some years now I can highly recommend it to anyone.

Living over seven years at 200 Chalkfarm, have so far no issue. We request for the new elevator as the existing or very old. Hope, management will consider it as they did it in the past to improve the building.

I am a resident of 180 Chalkfarm drive. I am enjoying life at the property. They are placing nice new elevators. Lobby is very nice.All nice for me and my family. We have 24 hours security.

2019 as an Immigrant to Canada I was hopeless in search of acquiring a decent accommodation in Toronto, as a single mother Greenwin Housing gave me peace of mind, and made me hopeful for tomorrow. With wonderful staffs who are prompt in delivering services I remain ever grateful to be accepted here as a family and not just a tenant.

One of there two staff members whose name is Jonathan is very rude and unprofessional. Would you believe it that he was talking to a customer over phone and was just like shouting on him and at the end he just cut the call by putting the phone so hard on the desk without even finishing his conversation with customer. He doesn’t know anything about customer service and how to treat people with respect.
Unlike him, one of other staff member whose name is Ethan is such a great personality. He is professional, kind, and respectful person and listens with attention to people and responds professionally.

This review is not an attack against 100 Graydon Hall and its affiliated group but merely a calculated observation through my own experiences. It has been over 4 years since I have taken residency in 100 Graydon. The reasons of my signing the dotted lines are as follows, affordable rent compared to rest of the Toronto, immaculate condition of the unit, beautiful scenery outside the window, schools and parks, multiculturalism, and security. These reasons were enough for I and my family to call this place a home.
Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in services that are necessary in rental buildings as in 100 Graydon Hall. Firstly, security of the tenants and their properties are in peril due to front and rear entrances are not monitored and enforced security. Second, the Out door parking at rear is not properly safeguarded. Third, unruly behaviour of the dogs and the owners are becoming to be outlawed. It has to stop. I have seen dog fights inside the elevator while it is full of children. Dog poo surrounds the vicinity and staircases. The laundery is becoming a hassle day by day. They are not maintain regularly. I have lost few bucks due to machines are not fully functional. The rental office staff behaviour seems on a rollercoaster. They can be very nasty at times. So beware when approaching them. The rent hikes are gradual. It is pain in the you know where. The interior and exterior renovations were conducted recently but at the expense of the tenants. The rent hikes are the natural result of it. The heating system is in urgent need of maintenance. It blows an unknown white substance that spreads around the apartment behaving as if the dust accumulated over the short span of time. The visitor parking no where to be found. The city selfish thinking converts visitors parking to tenets in order to maximize the profit. Shame on you city authorities. I have seen those yellow paper tags on the windshields every time I go for a walk. Very lucrative bussiness it turns out to be for both management and the city. There are more issues to be point out but for now I leave it to that.
The main cause for all these issues that are impacting negatively to building’s reputation as follows. The lack of responsibility and care which plays a huge role in this mess. The management is not held accountable for sometimes now. We as residents of this place need to raise our voices and highlight the problems and issues to the management and if required to the Tribunal Courts. The change will come if we are persistent to our demands. These are very basic living standards that should be provided by the management.

Worst ever apartment to live in. The whole apartment is full of bedbugs and cockroaches and the management too is very rude when we discussed with her. The heat vents are broken and bathroom vents don’t work, even after complaining and sending emails nothing has been done which leads to suffocation in the washroom. The broken vents lead to bedbugs and cockroaches. Even the lobby carpets are dirty and no vaccum is being done.

Very old building and overpriced rent. If you are looking to live with cockroaches and bedbugs then move there. Management are trying to help but what’s the point if the whole building is a nest of cockroaches and bedbugs?

Do yourself a favor and don't move there. The management is horrible and beyond worse. I can list a 1000 things they did that just boils my blood. But I will mention one. The management changed the lock without any notice, on 31st of the month while people are still packing and moving. Now people are locked outside with their stuff inside I called the management and as you can guess no one picks up the call. This is not just against tenancy law and it's just insane to think they can do that. We paid for the entire month and the apartment belongs to us until 11:49pm midnight.
I am guessing they are making people's lives difficult on purpose so people move out and they can raise the price.
Edit: FYI, the apartment was under my wife's name and nothing was discussed. @management, stop lying in public places like this

Managements are rude! Reached them for inquiry and they talked to me too bossy! They forgot that they are working for people like us and serving us! They are getting paid for serving tenants and answering to our inquiry in a welcoming manner!

This building is full of cockroaches, it is disgusting. Not to mention that the kitchen appliances are like a minimum of 15 + years old. Even if you ask them for a replacement, they would go and get you another appliance from another apartment which would most likely be full of roaches too. A spray of the apartment can only do so much, there are cracks in the kitchen and roaches are able to come in from there. So even if you spray on your own, it won't do anything in the long term. It is so disgusting that roaches are even able to crawl into the fridge. In the past two years that I was here I had to get the toilet fixed several times, the fridge, the dishwasher, you name it ! I highly suggest you stay away from these apartments if you can afford it.

I wish there was a no-star rating because this building management certainly doesn't deserve any. Living here has proven to be a nightmare, and a consistently frustrating experience due to the sheer level of incompetence and callousness displayed by the management.
Roaches have become an unwelcome, permanent resident in my apartment despite numerous treatments. The extermination attempts seem to be nothing more than a futile exercise and an utterly ineffective one at that. It's disheartening to still encounter these pests even after repeated treatments, indicating the poor quality of services we are subjected to.
On top of this, I had an outstanding maintenance issue with my closet door that took an inexplicable three months to address. The lack of urgency shown by the management to fix a problem that drastically affected my quality of life was deeply distressing.
In a bewildering turn of events, upon finally coming in to address the door issue, I was presented with a door infested with roaches. Not only was this alarming but the dismissive response I received was absolutely abhorrent. I was told to either keep this roach-infested door or choose to have no door at all! Such audacity, lack of empathy, and total disregard for a tenant's comfort are entirely unacceptable.
In essence, if you're seeking a living environment that upholds standards of sanitation, efficiency, and respect, then this building should not be on your list. This management team's negligence, indifference, and outright disrespect have made my time here truly unbearable. You would be doing yourself a favor by looking elsewhere for accommodation.

STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN. Building will shut down the water from 9am-5pm once every week without notification! Calling the building maintenance will result in "it's not our fault you didn't get notification via our app, we don't send letters to apartments".

I have been staying here since 2013 and so far, the experience was good but now since 2022 the maintenance services have been loosely controlled and on time services not available putting you at odds many times. If things don't improve may think of moving elsewhere.

A record of personal history. Lived here from May 2015 to May 2020 in Room 701. Hydro outage is common and is expected to happen annually or even every three months (that's what happened in 2017). The balcony was pretty flimsy and obsolete before renovation in the summer of 2019. Don't have too many good things to say but at least it is not too far from the subway and a Chinese supermarket. Takes about an hour to get to York University when weather is okay.

I don't think management will see this review, but I just want to warn others. This is the absolute worst management and head office staff in the city! For the past four months, a couple in one of the apartments fights during the night and keeps the surrounding neighbours up. EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Now imagine the frustration of the neighbours who have to go to work early mornings.
The neighbours have spoken to the tenants of the apartment, but they won't stop. The neighbours have all complained to the super and the manager on multiple occasions, but the manager has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it, and it doesn't seem like she ever will. The manager seems to be friends with the problematic tenant's family. The people working at head office are rude (there's one very rude lady in particular) and when we have complained to them, they have told us this is not their problem. Whose problem is it then?
I can't post the review without rating it, so I'll give it one star.
UPDATE: I came to give you an update on the situation since it has been over a month of posting this review. It is now 3:30 am and I am once again woken up by the screams and banging of the couple from the same problematic apartment. Are they actually hurting when they scream? No, I don't think they are. Do they care about anyone besides themselves? No absolutely not. Do I love being sleep deprived? Yes, it's the absolute best feeling in the world 😍! Am I going to ask management to check up on them? No, what's the point?

Very convenient as far as location goes, connected to the subway and supermarket and close to pretty much everything. The condo has lots of fire alarms though, I had one at 6:00 in the morning and 12:30 midnight, last for 10a of minutes each time. Premiere Suites itself is not too bad, but when we moved in lots of things that seem good are in fact borderline falling apart. We had to get them to come in and fix a bunch of stuff. Linens are clean and housekeeping, though not quite punctual, at least did a decent job.

Clean apartment building. Good service from amazing people. Robert is the building super. Friendly people. Rental prices are sky rocketed for last few years, however they will never compromise with their service. They got a swimming pool. Underground garage is available for parking. Recently they opened a new area for BBQ. This is getting better and better...! I can recommend this apartment to anyone. If I can give 10 STARS I 🌟 would!

The apartments are loaded with roaches. They pretend to be professional but are the most unprofessional individuals on earth. I would never recommend this place to anyone and would warn anyone planning to move their about the horrible experience they are about to witness. WORST APARTMENTS IN NORTH YORK !!!

I don't have complaints with the unit I live in but I do have major issues with the management and the upkeep of the underground parking. The management is extremely inept at solving issues. Also, the ceiling of the underground where I park at least is peeling off. Now, I am worried it will fall and damage my car! Also, a few of the residents are just hands down inconsiderate. Also they will try all the tricks to fleece you of whatever money they can once you want to move out. Wouldn't want to live here again.

I had to move into this building last year due to a personal situation. This by far as been an absolute nightmare at times and a constant stress on my kids and I. This is our interim home until we purchase.
If you are considering renting, I would think again.
It is overpriced.
Over the course of the year, I have numerous no hot water episodes. The super is quick to come to the unit however Laura perhaps the owner has no compassion and responds with long winded emails with no resolution.
The elevators are old and not safe. I witnessed elderly people stuck in between floors where the fire department had to come. As of today, elevators are extremely slow and are without number of floors being displayed so we are unable to see what floor we are on.
Roach issues aswell throughout the building.
I am moving out and can't wait for the count down.

We love our place! The spaces are quite large and functional. Once you get your furniture in, the place is amazing. We were paying almost twice as much for square footage before. Now we have an extra room for an office, which is perfect for my wife and I.

Northwood Terrace apartments at Lawrence and Avenue, owned/operated by Graydon Hall, are terrible. I lived there for 13 months before bailing. The apartments themselves seem nice -- hardwood floors, lots of light, windows on three sides. Don't be fooled. There's no soundproofing whatsoever, so you can hear everything from your downstairs/upstairs neighbours if they're even a bit loud. Maintenance requests took way too long to be addressed most of the time. There aren't enough laundry facilities, so they're busy at all times of the day and days of the week. On one occasion, the dryer next door was broken for 5 weeks. My apartment had an infestation of baby spiders; we killed hundreds in one night. And more disgusting house centipedes than I've ever seen in another unit.

Am shocked at all these negative reviews. Maybe that happened in the past, maybe, but i don't believe it.
I've lived at Graydon Hall since late 2018 and its marvellous. Our clean renovated apartment, safe neighbourhood, working elevators and washing machines, diverse people, bug free, clean, clean, clean!!!! with an elementary and high school nearby, and a great magnificent city view of the 401 404 express highway, etc......
The only cons are not having a personal washer in the apartment and no control over the thermostat.. its generally overheated for my preference, especially at night,....too much for comfort, though some posts claimed otherwise??!!.

Suite had great view, work out facility, and Guest Services was very responsive! The beds and linens were really comfy. I will be back:)

If I could give no stars, I would. The only thing I can say that's good about (50)Graydon Hall is that their apartments are somewhat nice, and ttc is close.
Other than that? Well, the elevators are absolutely terrible, and we have also been having major water and heat issues. And by major I mean really, really bad. Four months and counting we have had constant hot water and water pressure issues, as well as having our heat turned off for hours at a time. We are in the middle of the winter, I'm disabled, and if I get cold it is difficult to raise my body temperature. What was their answer? Give us a check to shut up! Well we still have problems, and I refuse to stay silent. I can't rely on our building supplying me with hot water, let alone clean water. Sometimes our water comes out brown from the tap.
When you try to contact the emergency maintenance office? "We understand and we are trying to fix the problem" is shouted at you over the phone! Sometimes they just hang up on you. Obviously the problem isn't being fixed, and if they are fixing it, they are doing so in the cheapest manner possible because it always seems not to work.
NEVER LIVE IN THIS BUILDING! Even if the superintendents seem nice, they don't fix anything!

Terrible Terrible experience with UCCI Properties.
The company should not be in business, the properties are in terrible condition, the management company that manages the units are rude, rigid, and completely shameless in dealing with their tenants.
I'm disgusted by my experience with this company and I hope that this review deters even one person from tenanting any of their properties.

I have lived at Graydon Hall now for a number of years - and I am quite happy here. The maintenance staff have been great and have responded in a timely manner to requests that I've had. There has been a few times where they have had to order a part and then I had to wait but on a whole they've been pretty good. I have found the building to be quite clean and I have had no issues with any bugs. When I was first looking at apartments here they did show me the model suites but they also showed me the apartment I was getting which was quite nice. No building is perfect and things happen from time to time that need to be dealt with but on a whole it is pretty good here.The neighborhood is very convenient to everything and my neighbors are fantastic - I have made some great friends here who have made a big difference in my life.
