The signs offered an early bird offer of £6.99. We fulfilled the criteria by getting there before 8:00am but on leaving were charged £17.99 leaving us feeling totally ripped off. Another customer who suffered the same fate spent a while talking to customer service to no avail. Deceptive practice NCP 👎👎👎
Great outdoor car park with a short walk into the city centre

If you have to go by car it's there in town, and there is always a space to park. Not so expensive as some of the others parking areas.
Easy to find, easy to park, easy to pay and perfect for visiting that side of the City (I was going to Castle Street) just a little expensive but expected being a city
Very busy carpark,took over 15 minutes to find a parking space, but very close to the River, so ideal for sightseeing, also a little pricier than I expected to pay
Reasonably priced, well lit car park. Barrierless entry so very convenient if you have the NCP autopay function enabled on your phone app (although that service has been temporarily withdrawn at the time of writing). Not busy at all on the Saturday I visited.
Location is great but few frustrations about this car park. Firstly the QR code on the app is hit and miss, it wouldn't lift the barrier upon scanning but started a parking session on the app. This meant I was charged twice, tried again to scan QR to exit and didn't work so ended up paying via the machine. I've logged a refund request for duplicate charging and I've had to pay £15+ rather than £11+ on the app. The issue needs to be fixed, all other NCP car parks with barriers don't have an issue with QR scanning.

Apparently has no pay stations, none that I could find anyway.
The exit signage is terrible.
The way to pay is via an app, which you can’t download because there’s no signal in the car park.
The app itself is awful with no guest option, forcing you to set up an account.
I now have no option to actually pay the extortionate fee for my stay, only autopay, which I don’t know if it will actually work owing to the fact I couldn’t download the app before I left the car park, because of signal issues.
Literally everything about this car park is unpleasant, just carry on a bit down the road and use Q park instead, or one of the dockside car parks

AVOID!!!!!! Please please take note of the reviews, this is the most frightening car park in the city and that's just NCP overcharging. Parked here for less than an hour, downloaded app to pay. Decided to move it based on horror reviews. Car park was dead for a Saturday afternoon, now I know why! It's awful, luckily my car escaped without damage but my wallet didn't. Auto charged me 7.95 for less than half an hour should be 2.95. Now having to go through painful process of trying to get a refund. Sign outside warns of thieves about, yes NCP car park will do that to you.

After searching for 10 minutes in disbelief, there are no machines to make a payment on your return. The only way to do this is online. Not great when you’re in your 80s like my mum.
I’m assuming this is a money making scam in the hope that people forget.

Avoid at all costs! Parked overnight to stay in a hotel to get our passports the next morning and came back to a smashed window!! There was nothing of value on show either.
This is a ticketless car park. The signs say that it’s easy to pay later. It is far from easy. After numerous attempts online and downloading the app I still couldn’t pay as it was stating that I needed to enable JavaScript and cookies which I repeatedly did but still to no avail. Eventually, after 4 online chats I paid over the phone, but basically for 2 hours of parking I was robbed from 2 hours the next day trying to pay. Drive on
Terrible car park, awful to navigate and almost impossible to pay - no machine that you can find, so forced to go on line. BUT that won’t go to the payment screen and so encouraged to download app. However at that point the app doesn’t show your ticket! So you can’t pay but all the time the threat of fines if it’s not paid within 24 hrs is hanging there. Customer services doesn’t answer the phone and the on line chat goes in circles. Finally did it by using Microsoft Edge as browser but not before literally losing sleep over it. If you wonder why this car park is almost empty while Q park is packed - that’s why. Disaster. Will never ever park there again.
Cards got charge at machine & received no ticket! AVOID this scam carpark.
Another vehicle blocked me in. NCP wouldn't do anything. Ended up having to pay for double parking till the idiot in the BMW moved their shed. Wouldn't recommended using. No actual help from the company should things go wrong on their property.

The worst car park I've ever seen. Unmarked spaces, only possible to pay by app in an area with very bad 4G, poorly signposted. Do yourself a favour and park somewhere else

Parked here over Xmas for 4 days
Came back to my car on Xmas Eve to find it smashed, no valuables on show, they had ransacked my car and stolen approximately £4, over the next 2 days another 8 cars had been smashed and ransacked too.
Entrances are not 'secure' as advertised.
Staircases smell of wee and have blankets/ dirty clothes as if homeless people are staying there.
Was impossible to get a hold of a security guard after as well as one security guard apparently patrols multiple sites
Would give 0 stars if possible.

Cons: Very small car park, gravel surface, lots of litter.
Pros: the machine actually works and accepted coins to pay for parking; this seems to be a rarity when trying to find a working parking machine operated by the Council.

This particular car park is the worst I’ve been to, although I wouldn’t recommend parking at any of the other NCP Car Parks in the city centre either. There’s zero security; local junkies sleep and urinate in the stairwells leaving behind rubbish and used needles, and then break into cars every night. NCP do nothing about it and are near impossible to contact.
Had my car broken into twice within the space of 3 weeks and NCP have still refused to provide CCTV. Would highly recommend avoiding NCP Car Parks in general as they’re massively overpriced, have no security, don’t provide CCTV and are totally useless and unhelpful when you report an incident.
Save yourself a few hundred quid in damages and park somewhere else with a secure gated entrance & CCTV monitoring.

Great parking. Spaces easy to find and large. Easy to enter and exit the car park. Have to enter your pin from the email to enter and press the big green button by the exit to exit. Really easy and secure parking. Would use it again. Highly recommend!
Shutters wouldn't open because the release button wouldn't work locking myself and my mum inside for nearly 15 minutes. We literally had to shout for help. Scary!

DO NOT BOOK TO PARK HERE!! we arrived after a long journey to find no spaces available. Absolte joke, no one to talk to when you ring the owner of the park either.

Average state off street parking. Needs looking at as there is a lot of debris in the ground that could puncture tyres. I found a fork just after I got out of my car.
The dirtiest car park I have ever seen. Full of boxes, cans and old socks. Would be fine if it was a little cleaner!
