It's a car park very easy to pay online the sticky out island I could imagine on entrance and exit could cause some people some problems. Never had an issue myself it's also right above Primark so handy for shopping.
Avoid parking here. I had a screaming baby desperate for a feed and a nappy change and both ticket machines were broken - I had to faff around downloading the app, creating an account, verifying my card just to pay to park, such a waste of time. Car parking spaces are pretty tight too.
Make sure u get a ticket either at the meters or on line as they have cameras that clock u in and out. Had a £70 fine when the machine wasn't working and horrid for mobile network to download the app when you are there
Please note that this is not the council operated car park as shown on the website address. The council car park is opposite which is 24 hours and have different prices. I have suggested this as a edit on Google maps
The app is hell to start due to the lack of internet in the area, the machines rarely work, and on top is one of the most expensive parking facilities in the area, just convenient if you are going to Primark or immediate surroundings. Way overpriced.
BE WARNED using this car park. I parked and paid at the machine and my bank authorised the payment (I got a notification to say so) but a month later I received a parking ticket saying I hadn’t paid. Went back through my banking for evidence and the money hadn’t ever been taken so I had no evidence and I have had to pay a £60 fine. Looking at the reviews I’m not the only person this has happened to.
I recently parked at NCP car parks and had a frustrating experience. Despite paying for my parking session, the machine didnt print a ticket, but charged me on my card and later found out they refunded my money back and charged me a penalty fee. After reporting this to both NCP and local authorities, it's clear they're engaging in deceptive practices. Beware of these unethical tactics.
Great location. They have a new NCP app to pay for parking which is so so difficult to use. I stood with 3 others trying to create an account/log on. It’s significantly more expensive to use the pay meters.
Very nice carpark. Feels very safe a d the spaces are wider than usual.

Locked our cars in 10 min before it shut and won't help getting them out. Avoid at all cost!!

Well priced and located for Bournemouth beach and town centre. Nice wide spaces and ramps.

Website says 24 hrs parking .. then turn up and paper signs say 8am till 8pm (no idea if this was for charges or opening times .. parked but was 5mins late back and all closed up ! Update ur website !! Had to taxi home and now taxi back in morn to get car..no one around to ask at 6pm either
Glenfern carpark saved the day for me and my children today (24/6/23) after spending over an hour driving around trying to find a space in Bournemouth we came across this car park. Great prices and decent car parking spaces. Will definitely use again. Thank you.
Be aware when you're parking over the night. Some crackheads are living inside the staircase and they have smashed my driver window twice within 8 days. The car was empty without any belongings. No one cares, not even the police 😒
NCP need to clean this place up just stood in human SHi! And caught a junkie shooting up on the stairs I literally had to climb over him NCP are aware of this they are only interested in collecting our money not stopping this ! Can I suggest the on duty staff do more often checks to stop this ! Absolutely disgusting
Quite expensive. The app makes things only a little less expensive if you're prepared to deal with something equally as troublesome. There's better parking elsewhere
NO indication that the shutters go down early and your car is locked in overnight. Not easy to contact or no contact information on who to ring if you need to get your car out. The website gives you and email to contact but no phone number. I would highly suggest using the council parking over the road to save getting stuck.
Came to Bournemouth for a day out, fantastic town unfortunately this carpark has let the place down, no notices of when it closes so imagine my surprise to find at 8.15pm the shutters shut and be told yes we will open it but will cost you £80. Absolutely ridiculous and a rip off..... avoid this carpark like the plague
Banner saying £2 for 2hours, closer at barrier (small print) you realise you need the app. Once inside you cant use the app as you have a printed ticket... Ended up paying £5 for hour and half. False advertising, catching many out!
As car parks go, it's pretty average. Is a struggle to get to the lifts with a pushchair due to a small set of stairs but doable. Very reasonable prices, £4.50 all day, or £3.50 from 1pm. You pay in the kiosk on the way in by cash or card. Decoration could do with an update.
AVOID. Dark, miserable and uninviting car park. Very quiet and felt unsafe despite parking there in the middle of the day. All the stairways and lifts smell of urine mixed with disinfectant! We felt so uneasy there, we got the lift to the ground floor, paid the minimum charge of £4.50 and left after 6 minutes!!!!
On leaving we used the council car park at the top of the road (Richmond Gardens Multi Storey Car Park) which as well as being half the price is 500% better.
