Please be cautious when considering this valet service. Their primary focus appears to be financial gain, and you will not experience the peace of mind you expect regarding the safety of your vehicle. There have been numerous reports of cars being stolen while under their care. Additionally, the staff's behavior is often discourteous, and they may attempt to manipulate or deceive you. To make matters worse, if you own a bike and live in the building, they will require you to navigate it through the valet parking garage in order to reach the designated basement bike storage area within the building. This arrangement poses a risk to your vehicle, as it may become scratched by the bikes.

I recently had the misfortune of parking my car at GMC Parking located at 388 Bridge Street, Brooklyn, NY. To be completely honest, it was an experience I would never want to go through again.

The moment I handed my car over to the attendant, I couldn't help but notice the strong smell of weed emanating from him. This immediately raised concerns for me, as it was apparent that he was high on the job. Entrusting an expensive vehicle to someone in that state made me feel incredibly uneasy, and it's something no customer should have to worry about when using a paid parking service.

Aside from the unprofessional and sketchy behavior of the employee, the overall atmosphere of the parking garage did not inspire confidence either. In an area with so many parking options available, I would strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere for a safer and more professional experience.

It's important for businesses like GMC Parking to take responsibility for the actions of their employees and ensure that they are upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety. Until there is a clear commitment to addressing these issues, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this parking facility to anyone.

It’s pretty handy that they have a website where you can request an hour ahead of time that your car be ready. I don’t drive my car that often, so I let them know the night before when I need it in the morning out of courtesy and to expedite pickup. I have tried parking my car in a private driveway, where it was broken into. I have tried parking it way down in Coney Island, where it was cheap. But for this neighborhood for the price, 15 mins walk from my apartment, I think this is a good option. It’s protected and the staff is always friendly.

you will have a very bad parking experience, every time you need your car, you need to text them an hour in advance (or a night in advance if it's between 7am and 9am) and of course they don't The car will be equipped for you in advance when you go downstairs. Every time you come to the parking lot, they will ask if you texted ahead to make an appointment, if not, they will scold you. If you send a text message, they will put you on hold, which usually takes 5-10 minutes to get your car. Every time you come home, they will ask you when you need the car next time, but they will not remember and prepare the car for you when you need it next time. The parking lot is a disaster, it takes me quite a while waiting for them to find the car every time.

The employees were nice and not having to worry about street parking in the neighborhood was a huge reason for me to park here. However my car had some damages while I paid for monthly parking here.

Parked here monthly for over a year - the guys are all kind, trustworthy and prompt. Alex the mgr is great as are his team - special shout out to Zack as well. I'm guessing the negative reviews are from out of towners not used to NYC parking prices and have nothing to do with the actual garage or staff - but the pricing and service are unmatched for NY and if you need monthly parking I would try to snag a spot here! I've parked in a few garages living in NYC and this has been by far my best experience.

They hit my bumper and did not want to show me the cameras. Don’t park here

I waited for half an hour before the parking attendant before taking my car.

They used to let us park for a couple hours all the time. Now they say “monthlies only.” No explanation. Rejected us for no reason. They officially discriminate!

This garage dealt some serious damage to my car while it was parked there at the monthly rate. They destroyed my roof rack and the bike racks I had on top. It looks like they drove it under one of their elevator parking spots but did have enough clearance.

I understand accidents happen, but they didn’t say anything about it and I only noticed later when I left the garage and parked my car. They refuse to respond to my calls and emails asking for retribution.

If you like your car, don’t park it here.

If I can give this parking Garage a 0 I would. They take so long to take your car out. They are greedy and over pack the lot with zip cars, residents cars, and public cars. They scratch so many vehicles! They are literally taking your car and parking it out on the street!! YOU ARE BETTER OFF PARKING ON THE STREET. And the previous 5 star rating was left by the manager of parking garage. PLEASE TRUST ME! DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE
