This place was reccomended to me by a coworker and I'm glad I took them up on it and travelled the two hours inland.

I was a little confused when I got here as I tried entering through the door facing the main road, but later realised that the open sign was literally pointing the way to the entry!

That being said, the lady who was working was an absolute gem to talk to. She went out of her way to not only explain what types of yarn they had, but let me know if they were hand dyed and Aussie owned and was incredibly warm.

I ended up leaving with a few hanks of Malabrigo yarn and although I was informed that they had an online site, I would be happy to travel the two hours again

This place is absolutely incredible for all that do needlecraft. The staff were fantastic and helpful and helped my grandmother pick out cottons for the tapestries she purchased. Drove 2+ hours to visit and it was well worth the drive.

Fed up with the chain stores poor showing for your crocheting, knitting, needlework? I was and I dropped into this shop looking for a few hard to get items of good quality. What a find! It was like a magic cave filled with beautiful items and wools of all kinds. The owner showed me the various wools and emphasised that she works hard to access local materials wherever possible. Since shop locally is my philosophy too, we were in sync. She was very friendly and helpful and I'll definitely go back. The store is online so you can also shop that way. In fact, if you are in a rush, you can order online and either back up using the back lane and they will bring your items out to you, or park out the front and run in to collect your items from the counter. I didn't check whether the back door is wheelchair accessible but the front door is definitely not. I also think there may be some difficulty manoevering a walker within the shop. But I am sure that you can look online and then call the owner and she will help you out. She was super helpful.

Amazing store with a great range of yarn and embroidery supplies!

I haven't done any xstitch for several years so I bought a couple of easy kits to ease me in again. There is a huge range of cross stitch projects to suit your ability level. Just about everything you could need plus a smaller yarn section.

How I wish I could visit this store in person.
I have purchased on line and have conversed with staff.
What an absolute pleasure to deal with knowledgeable people who have superior customer service skills.

The staff have always been helpful. The mail order service is of a high standard. Love stopping here on my way to and from Canberra. Mittagong is my original hometown and I love visiting but this shop makes my day.
