Great experience buying an engagement ring. Reasonably priced and beautiful quality

We have come to this jewelry store for the last several years and have always chosen a piece of jewelry in the Bar Harbor, Maine store. The owners (two older gentlemen) have been very helpful and pleasant. We decided this year to take a cruise that ended up in Bar Harbor and decided to go by to say hello and to also let them know that we had sent someone that we had met from the ship to the store to buy the same diamond starfish pendant we purchased last year for $3,000. When we went in the say that we were just there to say hello and we wanted to see if they still sold this piece of jewelry so that we would feel confident that the referral would not be for naught. Well, after voicing this to the young black gentleman that was in the store, he was so unbelievably rude, clapping and saying yeah because I was not there to purchase but to say hi and to let them know someone was coming to look for this particular piece of jewelry. As if this was not insulting enough, he then went on to say "we'll make sure to get you your commission" after this. How embarrassing, humiliating and unpleasant this gentleman was to us. Needless to say, we will NEVER return to purchase anything from this store again (we had made 3 purchases so far). You should probably consider who you are hiring for this type of position, and steer clear from employees such as this. Never have we ever been so furious with a worker at a store as we were in this instance. Steer clear from this store unless you enjoy being treated badly by rude, ignorant salespeople.

My favorite jewelry store! The staff is so welcoming and helpful when it comes to finding the perfect piece. Last year, my boyfriend and I found the perfect pink morganite and diamond ring set in rose gold. The whole process took about 15 minutes! This year, I was given a beautiful pear cut diamond engagement ring set in rose gold with diamond accents. I’m so glad he went back to Bliss to make this happen. I would recommend them to anyone looking for unique, fine jewelry that is great quality.

My family and I visit this shop annually and always have a wonderful experience. The staff are gracious and accommodating, always pleasant and friendly. We have purchased rings, bracelets, and a watch, all of which are beautiful. We look forward to shopping here for years to come!

Super pushy. Tried to pressure me to buy earrings when I was very adamant that I do not wear anything but rings. Joked about showing us more jewelry so that the store looked busy to draw in more customers. Nothing spectacular either.

My and husband and I were in Bar Harbor this past summer and loved shopping around in the town. We stayed across the street from Bliss Jewelers and walked in several times. My husband ended up buying me a diamond necklace and I love it! Everyone in the store was so wonderful to work with! They told us about the diamonds and we felt good about the price we paid. One lovely gentleman actually got us a bottle of wine after we made our purchase and we enjoyed it later that evening. I love this area and hope to go back soon, and will go back into the jewelry store. Great store, beautiful jewelry!

We ended up wandering into this great little shop during our time in Bar Harbor. We were greeted with warm smiles and very helpful individuals. I really appreciated that the guys were so helpful and made us feel like they really cared without being the least bit pushy. They did not push us to try to spend money on big expensive pieces but showed us exaclty what we were looking for and that fit us and our personalities. I purchased a set of Gold and Diamond earings for an awesome price!!! Will certainly be returning when we venture back to Bar Harbor!
