Took the red trail from the university drive parking lot. Beautiful and relaxing walking trail through the forest. It is easy to miss the trail markers if you aren’t careful.

This was a hike. Make sure to wear proper hiking shoes because the terrain is rocky and depending on the trail it can become steep in certain areas. You will like this hike the top is worth it. Now go touch grass 😊
Great trails, did the white and red one.
Amazing view after you got to the higher point. Enjoyable walking!
Had a lovely hike up to the summit. I was stunned by the view at the top- on a clear day, you can see the NYC skyline. The trail was well marked and maintained.
Very local and easy to access. Great place for a family outing or dog walk. I normally hike the red-yellow trail which takes about 45 minutes each way. Defiently stop at the summit and take in the view of Passaic County. Limited parking available. Beware of snakes!
Really fun hike with kids. Had kids ages 4-12 on they hike. They all did really well and enjoyed it. Saw some wildlife too, including deer, squirrels and other animals. Made it to the top by the solar panels and light star. Trail is marked well for red but yellow is a little less marked. We made a wrong turn coming back on yellow because the trail marker was only visible from the other direction. Figured it out quickly and turned around and got back into red trail to get out. Fun little day hike for sure.
Beautiful place to hike with various ways to get in and on a trail. Was a rather easy 4 miles for us and the pooch. There is a skyline view of the city at the top of the mountain following the yellow path but it is a work out. We did not find the "better view" before crashing at the top. THe shade was nice as well as the water ways to cool off in.
