Ojo hace 5 meses firme un contrato con este señor Jose
El punto que fui a su local porque yo misma quería ver su trabajo, cuando llegue el me ofreció diferentes modelos y precios de lápidas.
Entonces yo escogí el color favorito de mi padre eh incluso yo le dije que si podíamos ir a la factoría y el me dijo no, que el modelo que yo escoja ese se me entregaría yo confié en el,resulta que cuando me entregó fue otra muy diferente a la que aviamos quedado, honestamente no me gusto para nada, todo lo hizo a su conveniencia una piedra barata y allí en su camión llevaba muchas más del mismo estilo solo cambiaban los colores y nombres peor me moleste después de que este hombre no me contestaba y si contestaba es un señor que grita cuando le dices sus verdades,me hizo perder mi tiempo en fin encontré otro sitio que si son profesionales incluso me dibujaron la la lápida y todo será diseñado a mano.
Mientras con este señor es solo como que lo rasparon un poco y le echaron pintura no vayan a este sitio horrible ni tiene modales al cliente.

I highly DON’T recommend this place. It’s already enough our family is going through the process of grieving my grandmother. But to deal with unprofessionalism and constantly getting the runaround about the status of order is truly absurd. I drove an
1 1/2 TWICE to see what the hold up was just to for Jose to dodge and avoid questions. An order that was placed almost a year ago had NO updates. Save yourself the trouble and headache and work with someone else for your loved ones.

When dealing with this company buyer beware. The agents don’t even know their headstones are being placed done care where it being placed at and the owner accepts this poor job as well. I called three times just to not get attention needed. Don’t pay upfront cause this woman own business is a company I will never send to do business with for the living or the dead. Horrible service poor response and request not part of the process. Why? I paid upfront for delays and poor and inaccurate information. SMH don’t pick this one

Doesn't return calls. Have been trying to get an update on the encryption of a family members tombstone who passed away over 11 months ago. I have called dozens of times in the last 4-5 months and have not received a call back.
Hard to explain or understand considering this business still performs business for the community. Unbelievable.

PERPETRATOR OF A FRAUD!!! Stay away from this place! They will take your money and give you excuses after excuses. Jose Espinal doesn’t answer phone calls and/or text messages. It has been 11 months since we initiated the contract for my grandfather’s headstone and he has yet to do anything. Jose Espinal is the most irresponsible person we have met!! We are tired of waiting! Next step is court!!

Gave the company a $1000 deposit with the expectation that it would take about two months. As of today, 25Aug22, we are still waiting. One excuse after another....Stay away from this company.

horrible horrible horrible! We have been waiting over a year for our fathers headstone and there was an excuse after excuse. We are currently fighting with Jose Espinal for our refund. This is how our fathers headstone looks.

In 2016me and my brother went and paid for money for a tombstone for my mother it's 2021 still no tombstone and she's lying saying that she sent me a check about the picture that she telling me now today that she couldn't put up because of Corona this place is bad poor business I don't think anybody should deal with Effie she will lie on you tell you what you want to hear I still don't have a tombstone up for my mother she don't answer her phone the phone to the business it goes straight to voicemail she don't answer her cell your phone you can't get in touch with her at all you have to go through other people that work there she lies on me all the time she tells my brother a different story my advice do not deal with Effie Monument 115st 1ave

Effie is selfless and kind-hearted. She will stand by you.

Effie is a nice person but she has horrible employer and it took forever to make my tombstone after I paid in full at the time of transaction and I'm still waiting for vase and my dad picture to be put up

Effie is great! She was very helpful and very efficient with my order. I would recommend her to my friends or anyone who needs a tombstone or footstone.

My mom passed away Oct 2010. Shortly after the burial, I ordered a grave monument from Effie. I also ordered two (2) vases. I was promised the monument within a couple months. After two months, no monument. After months of pleading and begging, the monument was finally delivered after one (1) year, but no vases. Also, the photo tile was not properly photo shopped as promised. Here it is 2104 and still no vases. I sent emails and left phone messages and I am totally ignored. I am currently shopping for another monument for my brother who recently passed away. I will not be going to Effie. I definitely will not recommend Effie to anyone.

This business is run by someone who truly cares about her customers. From beginning to end the experience was pleasant and easy. They obviously take a great deal of pride in doing their job well. This experience with Monuments By Effie has made a family that will never stop grieving feel a lot better. In the event you are unfortunate enough to need this service, I highly recommend this company. Thank you Effie.
