Courts are good but people keep leaving rubbish on the courts and the edges could do with some TLC. The water tap has not been working for over a month.

Great surface, clean and well maintained
Love playing tennis here. Courts are generally in good conditions. It’s just annoying that you really need to be on top of slot booking opening times. Courts are always booked at in the morning and evenings.
Good, but people litter and its not regularly maintained, so the fence is falling. There are also lots of weed, bushes and stinging nettles on the side of the court. Still a decent place to play tennis if you're local.
4 good quality tennis courts, but for whatever reason only 2 of them are floodlit, which is ok but not perfect. The park where this venue is located is nice and it has a toilet. On the downside, the nets don't have a centre strap, which is a necessity in my opinion, and the courts seem to be a bit tilted, therefore I can't give it a maximum rating.

Nice place, friendly and very professionally run club. The coach is fantastic! Her team is doing amazing work with the Juniors, engaging the kids, building their confidence and encouraging them to raise their skill levels. Really impressed.
I never really visited Hackney down’s park before as it’s in the opposite direction of where I live,but last year a man I know who used to play tennis there died very suddenly so his wife had a bench put there so his fans could have somewhere to go to reflect on his passing.While it gives me some comfort to visit Les’s bench I miss him as I knew him personally it was nice that the council let the bench be placed there it’s a nice clean park with friendly people
Location is unbeatable. Loads of brunch options nearby after play, but you need to be really quick to book these courts at peak times.

Great courts in the middle of lovely Hackney Downs park. Four bookable courts and a fifth where you can just turn up and play.
Since becoming members my girls have enjoyed going to the club. Previous head coach was an excellent coach. The new coach is also EXCELLENT and has improved the standards of the juniors and adults too.

This is a wonderful club. Very inclusive of those starting out. Great coaching for both adults and kids. My kids love the head coach! Such a fab place to have on your doorstep. We are very lucky!
Conway Tennis Club is a friendly and very professionally run club. There's an opportunity for players of all abilities to mix-in and enjoy social tennis and the various teams and tournaments will please more competition orientated members. Their coach is fantastic; she runs a very active programme that helps bring your best tennis to the fore. Coaching sessions offer something for all ages and on-court abilities. Her team is doing amazing work with the Juniors, engaging the kids, building their confidence and encouraging them to raise their skill levels. Really impressed.
Very disappointing, after our childrens lesson our sons wanted to play on the court for ten minutes( no one was using them), there was a private lesson with a child taken on by the new coach lady next to us, the dad was erratic because his son was due for a competition in a couple of days, confronted us that our sons were making noise when they were just playing tennis for literally 10 minutes while we were waiting for a lift home- the lady coach confronted us and asked us if we are members, we said no but our kids just finished a lesson that we paid for - she told us to leave- was extremely rude unprofessional. We normally have group lessons at school holidays and adult lessons. Dad was clearly stressed, the coach didnt help the situation very unprofessional. She should have calmed the dad down as he was clearly stressed his poor son saw both their behaviours. Very unnecessary Have been going there for years and never experienced such cluelessness on how to be professional

Courts are in reasonable condition, online booking system works well and coaches are good.

Originally I had a course which was 8pm-9pm in the winter and the floodlights always turned off early, meaning our lessons were cut short. More recently I have had coaching 8pm-9pm in the summer where there is no floodlighting at all. During June/Early July this is fine, but by early August I'm unable to see much at all by about 8:40. Very frustrating.

These courts are usually not well kept, playable but with a lot of tree debris. Sadly they're also more expensive than the courts around. I only book here if there's nothing else available.
Friendly, active club offering great range of play from beginners thru to competitive, set in a lovely park
The 2 courts are free & open with Covid restrictions in place. Not good enough for proper games as too unkempt. But perfect for a knock around and some practives

Courts are ok.. same as all public courts. Need maintenance. Happy to play on them anyway. Also, they have floodlights

The fences are lower than other courts so if you’re a beginner you’ll spend a lot of time fighting dogs off your balls on the other side.
Not a great place where to play tennis. There is a lot of noise all round the courts coming from passerbys and the road. The courts are hard in a decent condition. The nets need some adjusting as some of them are too low. On the plus, court booking is easy online.
It just 2 run down tennis courts and a small kids play park. There's a quite a bit of grass to lie around on but mostly on a hill so not great for a game of footie. It's ok if you live nearby but not worth travelling to.

Amazing place
Friendly informal holiday camps for the kids. The head coach, Manni, is really enthusiastic and goes out of his way to make the lessons fun. Highly recommended.
