Nice people at the tennis club, very much a park setup, there is a club house but a little distance from the tennis courts.
Amazing place!
Numerous tennis courts, and a lit of green space
Courts are nice and cheap to hire if u take the yearly membership
Really good quality court surface. Free in the early mornings and 3£ off peak court fee. Even only £10 with floodlights. Perfect courts around the North London area. Wide availability for the public. Also, it gets dry so quickly after the rain. Only windy conditions are uncomfortable. Fairly clean. And secure with the entering codes. For sure, Finsbury parks need more lights by the council to make them more accessible for everyone during late hours.
Nice courts, cheap to book aswell.
Great Courts! Always good to find a free court in the heart of the city.

Recommend a maintenance crew touch up the base line on the eastern end of court 11, south corner. Had a workout this morning.

Despite the new surface plenty of melted rubber on the eastern end of court 11.

Fantastic local Tennis club. My wife, son and myself are members there and play weekly. My son attends half term camps and group tournaments. The staff is friendly and facilities are well kept. We love it.
Me and my two kids are very happy with Chandos. Nice club, well maintained, we feel as part of one big tennis family. Very positive vibe, clean facilities, all day caffe offering drinks, food and snacks. Management team always helpful. Club tournaments, BBQs are just a bonus. Highly recommended.
We went for a trial lesson, there were 10 kids in the lesson!!! Only 1 coach and 1 USELESS helper (a very young girl)!!!

Shame on them!!! That's not how you teach tenis!!! Parents stay away!!!
Good price relation with the quality of the courts, 6£ its a really fair price for London. The cons are that the courts are a bit close each other and the fences are not really high so balls goes out often. You need to book online and they will provide you the access code.
I have been the member of the club for then 20 years. It has amazing members and has a real family vibe. People are very friendly and there is always someone to play with. There are players of all level. Brampton is like my second home. There is social play every Saturday and Sunday and there are very good coaches who offer a range of coaching for all players.
Brampton Tennis Club is a hidden gem! I wish I have joined the club years ago.
Everyone is so friendly and you feel like a part of a community.
The courts and club house are very well looked after.
So easy to book a court, many social plays.
There is always someone around to have a hit with.
Absolutely delighted I joined!

Fantastic tennis club!! Amazing facilities also indoor courts
Good courts, unfortunately an under used asset it's a shame to see them so empty during the day.
Nice place lovely courts also has a coffee shop a difficult to find the club has a very small entrance and the sign is covered by trees.
11 courts outdoor around 11 £a hour
Six public courts. Can be booked in advance online. Court surface is somewhat uneven asphalt. Nets are in reasonable condition.
Good tennis courts, resurfaced in 2020 with new tarmac
Great tennis courts and easy to book
Very good club, my son is very happy to attend.
The tennis coaches are caring , teaching very well.
Nurturing environment. Before /after class you can enjoy watching other adult players which gives children a sense of learning and doing more.
The tennis courts are in a very good condition, well maintained, and the park is lovely. There's a café and a toilet very close by, so that's a great thing to have. On the downside, the nets don't have a centre strap, which is a necessity in my opinion. Since there are 8 courts at this venue, some floodlights would be a great addition / investment.
I love playing tennis and this court is amazing to rally with your friends. They have security features which allow only people who booked the court to play there.
Quiet area, parking lot, easy to reach via public transport or cycle.. on a rainy Sunday, not busy at all. Overlights at night and open very long hours. Easy to book online and reasonably priced at 6£
Such a disappointment!
Absolute lack of organization and customer care, and the Coach said that is miscommunication leaving one more girl and myself hanging by the entrance for 20 minutes.
I booked ten sessions in advance, so I had to form an official complaint and request a refund.
Hopefully, there won't be problems with that as well.
Don't waste your money!
I booked a court here for £3 but the code I was given to enter didn't work. Don't waste your money

Nice courts and all in very good condition. Entry system is easy to use. Cafe next to the courts for refreshments, well worth a visit.
There are 10 hard-surfaced courts at Parliament Hill, open all year round for the public and local residents to use. The courts are in reasonable condition with the nets slightly worn out. Courts can be booked online for £5.90 (with concession membership) or £9.80 per hour. The annual concession membership costs £31.60 and gives you access to courts four days in advance in addition to a reduced cost for booking. If you are a regular player the concession membership is good value although the maximum number of bookings in a seven day period is five court bookings of one hour each. There is licensed LTA coaching available in groups or one on one. The lessons are priced at £48 per hour (price includes the court fee) for one person, £50 for two players and £55 for three to four players. 36 to 24 hour notice is needed, or there is a cancellation fee for the lesson. Recommend booking court five, given its layout and easy access.
Very nice courts and need to book in advance (1 week or so).
Wow!!! This is an Amazing place and play tennis there is another way to enjoy it.🎾🎾🎾
Surrounding are beautiful, courts in good state, players and staff nice. Only point to improve is booking system. Can’t remember card details etc. Making it longer than it should to book tennis courts
Nice online booking system. Book a slot, got a pin code, enter it on the keypad on court entrance and play. The only downside - sometimes balls fall over to the neighboring court and you can't pick them up, because the pin code is different on other courts
Nice and quite place.
Great courts, refurbished 3 years ago & updated with coded entry from online booking system last year. Often busy. Coaching available in groups, one 2 one, play with friends or join the local Tennis League that is based here.
Only one way to describe the courts here...Great!
Almost new, not too slippery in the wet, the courts are on a very slight slope but that is hardly noticeable.
Great club, incredibly helpful staff. Management and coaches helped me out with getting my coaching working practice hours with them when they didn't really had to.
They have great facilities, and from what I've seen in the few days spent there, offer terrific tennis lessons for people of all ages and levels, with great care for every single person.
I'm deeply impressed and just can't express enough how good my experience with this club has been and absolutely cannot wait to go back there some day!
Great courts for all experience levels. Usually quite easy to book a court a few days in advance. Nice little café for a drink and bite afterwards.
good tennis court. there is a children's summer camp. my daughter liked it for 4 years. convenient registration through the site. thanks
decent courts! Fences are a little too short, or maybe I hit the balls too hard.
Lovely tennis courts if you can get a booking! Few of the nets need repair though...
Played today and was totally happy with everything including the price. I will now try to play regularly unless my great review means it is always fully booked! All the best Francis
I've been playing here 2-3 times a week this summer and it's an absolute joy training on these spanking new courts.
Clean and tidy. There is even a guy that does tennis lessons from 7am. There is a carpark that will soon be pay and display. No steps so wheelchair accessible.
These are great tennis courts and have recently been refurbished. However, not having a booking system makes it really hard to find a slot and plan to play tennis.
Great tennis courts. Never actually played though! Sat on a bench watching a foursome group of older ladies playing. Great facilities. During Covid 19 lockdown, i visit Highbury Fields almost every day and have really got to appreciate the space and trees and nature...
Great court but virtually impossible to book - using their online system isn't easy 🤨
And for some strange reason they're resurfacing the courts at the height of the tennis season 😳

I have been at the tennis club for more 20 years plus. It’s always been a great enjoyment coming to play social and tournament matches during summer and winter. The club have five great courts, amazing coaching staff that run day to day course to help all levels of tennis. The club offer great social play over the weekends and weekdays. I would highly recommend this club for all ages.

Brampton is one of the few tennis clubs where at the weekend you can turn up and take part in social play whatever your standard. People mix in and you can be playing with the club champion or one of our promising younger members. Our club is not elitist and is very friendly and welcoming. I have been a member for over 20 years despite having a number of clubs much nearer to where I live.
My family and I have been Brampton members for around 20 years. I like the courts and members and even the clubhouse. I usually play weekdays when there is plenty of spare courts. Tennis is a game you can enjoy even when you're 80 years old. So, come along and play tennis at Brampton.
A great club to join ! Very friendly & welcoming. If you are new to tennis or wish to improve your game our excellent coaches will help you. Plenty of social tennis available plus team tennis for those wishing to play competitively. Something for all age groups.
Brampton is a hidden gem of a tennis club, just off Prothero Gardens in Hendon (NW4), opposite the entrance to St Mary's & St John's School. It's a really friendly club with five great all-weather courts and plenty of opportunities to play tennis, both socially and competitively.
Really brilliant tennis facility based within Clissold park. There is around 9 full tennis courts and some mini courts for younger players. All courts have floodlighting enabling play after dark. Courts are in good condition and play well. Brookings can be made online or in the booking hut which is near the ponds at the back of the park.
A great place to play tennis.
They have 12 Tennis courts, all good in terms of stracture and maintenance.
You can easily book online or by a phone call. While open, there is always a person in a small cabin that manage the place and booking. It's recommend to book in advance, especially is sunny days as you'll find it full most of the time.
In the center of the area, there is a small kiosk that you can buy drinks and ice cream.
Enjoy your play :)
During these Summery Days its a teeming bustling area of sports fanatics and Tennis lovers. It's got a nice buzz, maintained to a good standard, parking however is £2.80 per hour and quite limited!
The courts are okay, rather well looked after with a cafe right beside and toilets in close range. A little expensive there are a few in the area cheaper easy to book just book online.
11 outdoor tennis courts around £10.@ hour
My 9 year old has been going to this club for a couple of years, and the holiday week long classes too.She really loves it. The coaches are great, patient, attentive, and friendly, and infact the vibe of the whole place is really friendly . Her playing ability and shot making are far beyond my expectations.Theres a great cafe, the kids meals are good, the lessons are superb value, it feels a very safe environment ,and Peter who runs the place is a lovely gentleman.I didn't really want to place this review, because i don't want the place to become too busy, but I think they deserve it.
Love playing on this tennis court. Though can often be difficult to get an empty space. Don't even try playing here when during the Wimbledon Grand Slam. Everyone comes out motivated thinking they are Serena Williams or Novak Djokovic during those 14 days.
Six public courts. Can be booked in advance online. Court surface is somewhat uneven asphalt. Nets are in reasonable condition. Good value for under 18s or seniors, otherwise a bit pricey at £8 per hour, given the relatively poor condition.
Court 9, 10, and 11 all face into the sun... so in the afternoons one player will be effectively blind. Try courts 1 - 8 on the other side of the fields if you're playing when the sun is bothersome.
