We’re still here! Even when they were short staffed tonight, the service with literally 2 people was amazing. They had a big group party, a smaller group and another couple besides us and they did amazing! I’m a well controlled Type 2 diabetic and they customized my cocktails so I can enjoy them without the sugar spike later. The steak frites and spicy beef nachos that my fiancé and I shared were delicious! Cooked and spiced perfectly! No pics of the steak frites because we INHALED those before I could take a picture lmaooo.

Tried Boar for the first time here it was fantastic, they also have Elk to try too. Their specials of the day are fantastic. Had a great server too. The only downside to the food was they put spicy sauce on almost everything so if you have low tolerance to spice make sure to ask that they don't put it on. The place was cozy and had comfortable chairs. However, there was no AC. It was incredibly hot in the restaurant, very uncomfortable. Also note the cheesecake is not actually NY style it's more along the lines of Japanese cheesecake.

During the height of Covid19 The North Fork was our “Go To” for fresh and tasty comfort food of high quality.

We don’t know what’s happened.

We watched their rating steadily decline from 4.8 to 4.1 on Uber Eats.

We saw a Fish and Chip special Today. We added a piece of fish. That including delivery tip cost $27.

Look at how this was delivered.
It looks like beige slop.

Coleslaw = TON of onions and very little cabbage, carrots. Over dressed and just plopped down. Not in a separate container and 2 Tablespoons is considered a “side”.
French Fries = Soggy. Sad. No seasoning.
Fish = More Batter than Whitefish. Again no seasoning.
Delivery Driver = Wrong House. No Communication. New. Didn’t Care. Didn’t Apologize.

It’s SO sad. We loved their mussels special and were working our way through their menu. But, we noticed in the early spring their delivery service started messing up orders. Now the food is just as bad.

We will not order again. Nor will we ever eat inside their restaurant either.

So sad…

I can’t say enough great things about my experience at the North Fork! The food and service was amazing. We had the bruschetta, fish and chips, elk burger with Parmesan fries, and a chicken club with vegetables. Emma was an amazing server. You should definitely check out the North Fork! I love the elk burger and garlic parm fries and I can’t wait to eat it again soon.

It was a slow night for the restaurant, and having never been here before I was optimistic with what to expect.

Our server was fantastic. He engaged us in conversation throughout our meal and made us feel welcome .

I thoroughly enjoyed my Elk burger. Added wild boar bacon to it....just delicious.

My family was full and we were satisfied with everything the restaurant had to offer.

Warm atmosphere; had the chance to meet one of the owners on my first visit (I've since been back!) And enjoyed the wine selection (did I mention local wineries) very much. Found the muscles to be alright - much prefered the scallops - looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu! Good vibe, good people, local ingredients.

looks like this place was pretty newly opened - we weren’t sure what it would be like so we made reservations- it was dead - we were the only ones in there.

came here for dinner after a long day hiking in hamilton.

it was freezing cold - i’m glad i had my hoodie with me otherwise it would have been a very unpleasant experience.

drinks were relatively cheap i got a 9oz of white wine for a little over $9.

my sandwich was good - i liked the batter but the fish really had no flavour i was expecting it to be more like a haddock / fish filet type of taste.

the salad had just enough dressing it it.

the one thing i did like about this place is the graffiti inside!

We decided to try the North Fork, as it newly opened. I think Praveen has done a great job and North Fork will be a favorite of the Hamilton food scene. We started with Caesar salad. It was perfect. Too often the salad comes with too much dressing, this one has the perfect amount. It was fresh and delicious. This salad was accompanied by the scallops, which were perfectly done. I was surprised that no cocktail sauce was included but upon reflection it likely would have distracted from the delectable scallops. The seafood paella and hot wings were perfectly spiced. Not so hot to force you to gulp water, but enough to leave a tingle. While we were the only diners, the server Joe was attentive without being smothering. He was a pleasure. Chef Praveen did an outstanding job. Thank you we will be back.
