Awful school, ruined my life, left with two GCSEs which I only got after my mum informed educational welfare that the school was refusing to let me sit the full 5 GCSEs.
I had agoraphobia and social anxiety disorder for 5 years and the school did not inform educational welfare of my case and as such refused to provide me with home schooling. They threatened my mum and told her if she called the educational welfare department they would just call social services.
I finally received home schooling in my final year of high school, I spent roughly 6-9 months with three tutors studying 5 subjects. I was then told days after the first science exam that I'd missed it - when the school had not informed me of the date til after it had passed. Then they informed me as I had not sit the first science exam....they were taking off 3 of my subjects.
I sat only English and Maths, received a grade B in English and a Grade C in foundation maths (they refused to let me sit higher tier maths).
I'm now 20, currently unemployed, severely depressed and relying on borrowed money to go to college.

It's been 5 years since I joined in year 7. Many of the prevalent issues are still unfixed but some of the worst ones are sort of better. I'm not gonna lie this school has had it's ups and downs for me. At times I've loved it and at times I've hated it more than any other place on earth but all schools are like that and this is by far one of the better ones.

Reasonable effort.

nice school with friendly teachers and other support staff - liked my experience for a few months here as an exchange student. :)
