I hosted a large event here. I was blown away with the world class support and service . I watched the meticulous preparation to make the room perfect and had outstanding support for our presentation. I was very impressed.

I went here for a field trip in December of 2021 in 6th grade. I remember seeing the Christmas Carol play in this theater with one of my friends on the field trip, and I loved it. Recommend buying tickets for Christmas Carol.

Blue Jean Bash, Clothes To Kids Celebration Fund raiser was great in the Sewell, such a pretty space with amazing views & yummy catering.

Such an amazing, and beautiful space! I hosted 2 graduations at Seawell Ballroom, and they were absolutely stunning! The team is so easy to work with, and understand what the costumer wants. They were very understanding, and clear about expectations versus what happened, and I would absolutely host another event with them. Prices are openly talked about, and there aren't any hidden fees that pop up after the event. Had a great experience with the DCPA (:

Skylight is absolutely one of my favorite wedding venues in Denver. I've photographed several weddings there and it just keeps getting better and better. The outside courtyard is SO FUN for cocktail hour, food trucks, and yard games. I love that the inside is a blank slate that people can set up however they like. I've seen a huge variety of ceremony setups and reception floorplans there that accommodate any size party. The getting ready space is one of my favorites to photograph, and I love that it's not super "girly" so it's not weird if an LGBTQ+ couple uses the space. There aren't many venues without specifically gendered getting ready spaces. Skylight's also amazing about inclusivity in general, and consistently features LGBTQ+ weddings.

I love walking around the Santa Fe Arts District for photos, and the venue is super close to a bunch of hotels and parks for photo ops! Looking forward to working there again and again!!

The food and ambiance here was pretty good, but the service was awful. I came here to eat with my friends for homecoming. After we were seated, it took more than half an hour for just the waiter to come by and take our orders. This was after I had to walk up to the staff and tell them multiple times that we were ready to order. They said they were pretty busy, which I understand, and we were a group of 8 of high schoolers, so they may have been unwilling to serve us first. However, many groups that sat down after us (some of which were big groups of families) were served before us. This was quite unacceptable because although they might have looked down on us as kids, we were still paying customers. Additionally, we had to wait another half an hour for our food to be served.

TLDR: Rude hostesses, limited menu for holiday, good food, mid service. Would have chosen somewhere else.

Because we were celebrating my 21st birthday, we made a reservation. We finished through the aquarium before our reservation time, and went to talk to the hostesses at 5:20 to see if we could check in early or join the wait-list as we were a party of 2. The girl snapped that we had to wait for our reservation time (6:00) and it was a 30 minute wait (which still would have put us at 5:50.) We had already walked the whole aquarium so we didn't have much to do to kill time we hadn't already done.
We went back up at 5:55 and it took some time for the hostesses to turn their attention to us to check us in for our reservation and they didn't give a timeframe, just told us to wait. It was past 6:00 when we were finally seated. We were given special New Year's Eve menus which featured a couples special on one side and the regular menu items on the other.
It was a few minutes before the waiter came and greeted us, which was understandable as it was busier. We asked about burgers as they weren't on the menu given to us but were on the online menu and were told that only what is on the menu was available because of the holiday. This information wasn't shown when we were making a reservation. It was long periods of time between check ins, we ran out of water during our meal. The best part of our meal was honestly the bread brought while waiting for our main course.
I got the chicken alfredo which was good, but nothing too crazy. My husband got the castaway combo appetizer as his main meal (he wanted a burger originally) and he really enjoyed the shrimp and crab dip.
As it was my birthday, we were given a birthday cupcake which was super cute, but dry. (Was listed on reservation as birthday, husband still asked to see if they did anything for birthdays).
All and all, it was a good meal but the service was lacking and I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

After touring and reviewing many different wedding locations, my now husband and I chose Skylight and it was the best decision we could have made! The staff, space, and recommended vendors were incredible in every way and truly made our wedding dreams come true. Working on creating our wedding vision with Jill was not only fun but she truly listened to us while giving us the best advice. She helped us transform Skylight to be the most magical, moody, and romantic space to host a wedding. Clay worked on creating a custom beverage menu with the best specialty cocktails. Jill recommended LovePop as the food caterer and each and every one of our guests commented on how we had the best wedding food they have ever had! Thank you to the Skylight team and their amazing recommended vendors on bringing our wedding vision to life- we had the best day of our lives!

We loved having Skylight as our wedding venue. The staff was helpful and courteous throughout the process, and leading up to the wedding day. Skylight has a great vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for - An elevated, modern industrial elegant blank slate that we customized to our style. Our guests raved about the venue and how they loved it as well. We were able to have tons of flexibility in picking our vendors, which was a huge highlight. The ability to pick our own catering and other vendors made such a difference to our wedding and how personal it felt. They also provided additional decor items that we rented out, which was helpful to not have to find elsewhere. We would definitely recommend Skylight, and if I had to do everything over I would pick Skylight as our venue every time!!

This was the second year that our nonprofit gala fundraiser was hosted at the Seawell Ballroom. I can't say enough great things about the staff, facility, production and event experience overall.

If you're looking for a downtown space with plenty of parking, can host up to 500 people, and has all the A/V production you could imagine, look no further than the Seawell Ballroom, folks!

Also, try to request Cody Gocio as he's the best event manager you could ask for!

We used Skylight for our wedding in September 2023 and can't recommend it strongly enough! Everything went so incredibly smoothly and made for a spectacular night. The open space was so fun to decorate ourselves and we really appreciated being given total freedom to fit everything to our aesthetic. The night of we used both the indoor and outdoor spaces and had to do exactly zero thinking about room flipping or arranging, it was all taken care of so we could focus on celebrating with friends and family.

The outdoor space was fantastic, it was so nice to be able to have dancing inside and an area for chatting and catching up outside with a little less volume. The couches provided by Skylight were comfortable for our older relatives so they could stay out later.

The 24 hour rental was exactly what we were looking for. Our vendors were able to start setting up in the morning without us being there which really took a lot of the time pressure off. We were also able to leave that night without worrying about cleaning everything up. We had been to weddings in the past where we got tasked helping break down the venue as guests, but this wasn't a concern with Skylight. We loved that we could stay with our friends until the wee hours and nobody was put to work.

We planned our wedding remotely and neither of us are Denver natives so we included the partial planning option. We specifically worked with Erin and we still talk about how absolutely perfect she was in helping us. We can't extoll the virtues of this option enough, it made everything such a breeze. People often talk about how stressful wedding planning is, but for us it was almost entirely fun because we had such a good support and someone making suggestions after taking a ton of time to understand what we were going for. Erin made suggestions about vendors for everything, so we just had to pick from a couple of options that she already had experience with and that so great. She was open about the pros and cons about each option so we felt like we were making informed choices without needing to do a ton of research ourselves - exactly what we were hoping for out of the process! Erin was super organized and available every step of the way for when we had questions about random things pop up. She also was able to take great control the night of the wedding so we had to do zero thinking about what was happening when or coordinating vendors.

We also used the in the in house drinks package and loved that! We are cocktail people, so were delighted when Clay was so open to all of our ideas. We ended up having 7 (!) signature cocktails in addition to wine and beer. They were creative and honestly tasted like drinks you would get at a dedicated cocktail bar, not just something put together to be quick for a wedding.

Overall, we absolutely loved our wedding at Skylight and found them to be a breeze to work with every step of the way!

Skylight is the perfect venue! The outside courtyard option (our first) is so beautiful. We had a snow storm for our wedding weekend - and the team at skylight quickly moved into Plan B, which was an amazing indoor ceremony. The venue is so beautiful on it's own- and you can really design it any way you want. The event space was perfect for our 150 guests, still feeling very spacious. The planning (Erin!) & beverage team (Clay!) were amazing to work with. Very helpful with their insight into how things work best but encouraging you to stay true to your vision. An amazing experience - would recommend to anyone in the Denver area.

The design is very nice as it has a large fish tank with plenty of beautiful fish and nicely decorated tables. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be made which was the steak and lobster. It was very savory and worth the wait! It overall has a great atmosphere and I hope to try the other items on the menu!

We had our wedding at SKYLIGHT, and it was the PERFECT venue! They have such a cool indoor/outdoor space (with tables, chairs, patio, and bar!) and we were able to customize it for exactly the vibe we were going for. We also found pretty much all our vendors through SKYLIGHT's epic vendor list, and everyone we worked with was so fun, so professional, and made our day the absolute easiest & best celebration. We also opted for month-of-coordination and worked with Erin, who was FABULOUS. She answered questions we didn't even know we had, and when the day came, she made sure we didn't have to worry about anything. We also had a build-your-own beverage package through the bar and worked with Clay, who was AMAZING. He even went above & beyond trying to find us a certain wine. Choosing SKYLIGHT was by far the easiest & best decision we made, and we're so thankful to Erin, Clay, Jill & the entire team for being part of our day.

Amazing restaurant with unique ambience. You will feel like eating inside a aquarium. Fishes swimming all around you. You can enjoy sea food here after a trip to the aquarium or just directly go the restaurant. I would recommend reserve your place before you go there. Food was awesome and the service was decent. They have some great desserts to end your meal. They have a paid parking

Skylight was the perfect venue for our wedding disco. We wanted to do things a little different, and this venue really helped us achieve that! What really hooked me in was the fact that this is a 24 hour venue rental, so we didn't need to clean up directly after the wedding, and be out of there by 10PM. It was amazing to throw the ceremony, reception and after party all in one place. We had about 120 people and it was perfect. There was room for everyone to hang, and eat, and dance which was all I was hoping for! Erin was really amazing to work with. She helped me in many ways, and was able to guide me through the insane world of wedding planning. I appreciated that so much. They went way beyond for us, which made our day so amazing and memorable. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking to do something a little different. There is 100% creative freedom here for your vision to come to life ( and if you are not sure on your vision, the Skylight crew can definitely guide you.) Shout out to Clay for managing our event day and taking care of the beverage side of things!

Hands down the best restaurant experience we had. They sat us right in front of the glass and were able to watch the fish up close! The entire decor was beautiful and well done. Our server was wonderful and our food was delicious. I am Gluten Free and they were knowledgeable and careful with everything. The manager delivered my food to me to add the extra safety. Absolutely would go again.

Although these pictures are not very good, there are many more on the website where you can view more of the restaurant. It was indeed an experience I will not forget, I believe it was my first time eating in an aquarium restaurant. I hope you give this place a try, I don't think you will regret it. I didn't hit the 4 start on food because there was something wrong, I'm just not a sea food kind of guy, but they do have other options so don't let that fool you. Next time I'm down in Denver I will be visiting you again thank you for a great experience. 👍

We stumbled upon Skylight on our search for a wedding venue. And I’m so glad we did! Skylight was amazing, they have SO much flexibility with vendors and design! The space is beautiful and you really can turn it into anything you want! The bar services at skylight were amazing as well! Our guests can’t stop talking about how perfect this venue was for our big day and neither can we!

The restaurant was a great experience with good food. The Melissa topping for the meals is worth it, buttery and cooked to perfection. The green beans are flavourful and perfectly seasoned. The only thing we didn't like were the fries. They were heavy, lukewarm, and bland. The bacon wrapped shrimp were the best we ever had.

Will definitely return! The ambiance can't be beat.

The waves in this water-ful place is definitely the ideal place for any type of underwater life be it mommy 🦈, daddy 🦈, the school of kids, a 🦀y person, even a random stingray who loves good food, will all enjoy. Hey, if you a 🐠 turned human this is the place you to need to be at.

The smells that washes over you will have your head swimming. Don't get me started on how extremely delicious each thing on the menu is. When my sister(11) came to visit my husband & I, we made sure that we brought her here. She was extremely blown away to be sitting right next to a giant tank while enjoying the food. She also made sure to get her one of the 🦈y cups before she even thought about going home(🤭).

Weather human or aquatic life form disguised as a human, all are welcome & will not leave without being full & fully pleased. You will not be let down or disappointed. Those who don't are truly missing out on all the amazing food, drinks, & giant fish. This place is a 20,000 out of 10.

I atrended the Blue Bash for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance run by Tara Lehnertz, volunteer chair. The event was an amazing fundraiser with dinner, bar, silent auction, dancing, casino night, stories and a celebration of overcoming cancer.

I was married at the Seawell, and they created the most magical night of my life. Dawn Williams and her entire staff made this the most memorable event you can possibly imagine! The level of service and care we received throughout all of the planning was beyond anything I could have expected. The space is so beautiful – upon walking in for our first introduction to the ballroom, there was no question in our minds that we had to be married at the Seawell! The ceilings are high and beautiful, the sweeping views of the mountains create a stunning backdrop, and the things they can do with sound and light are breathtaking. Schedule a visit and consider the Seawell for your event – you will NOT be able to walk away.
