The website pay options are currently not working as of this morning around 10 A.M. The site is normally glitchy and the current bill due does not post on the weekend but I could navigate that until now.
I had a payment scheduled and this does not need to be so difficult.

I have lived all across the country and never once experienced so many issues with outages. We live in a neighborhood with well water, powered by electric pumps, so during an outage our water is affected as well. Would change providers immediately if we could.
SCAM... Takes advantages of new customers. I caught them adding additional charges to the bill for "Three Phase" at 47.95/MO. What they did not know is that I had already been here at this location and had access to prior billing statements. They then said I requested the change to have a new meter put in for 3 phase. I told them impossible. I have been here for the past year and did not request in the past month any new meter being put in. I've been at this location for years and if anyone would have been here to put in a meter i would have been here or my alarm would go off. SCAM artists! Fraudulent Charges!! Watch your bill. Filing complaints with them. Here. The BBB. And will take them to court if required. OH, and after reporting this to them the CS agent said that the only thing she can do is file a report and i have to wait 2 to 3 days for a call back. I said is that the respect that my money dictates? She said she could not answer that. That i could not sit on hold for an answer and that she was not going to sit on hold an wait either. GREAT COMPANY!!!! well worth the one and only start you get!!!!

If no star was possible that’s what I would rate them. I had my power line knocked down during a storm and it took them 3 days to come hook it back up. The power line was hot laying on the wet ground. When I called, they never once had a good estimate and everytime I called they kept pushing back the time they said they could come. Took 3 days for them to come do a 15 minute job.

Would rate zero stars if possible. Been out of power for multiple days. Every call gives me no updates whatsoever. Had multiple service trucks drive right past my house, and their response was “they have better places to be”.

Been without power for over 24 hours. No communication, website not working and they don't care about food loss especially in this economy. Bet if I didn't pay my bill they would reach out to me right away.

I understand that when we have outages that everyone is upset and wants theirs restored as soon as possible. But when you call in for verification that the power lines laying across your house is dead and you get no response for hours this is unacceptable. I work over 1000 miles from home and trust the safety of my family to alliant energy. Well they have failed, failed my family and failed my expectations. I have never failed to make a payment or comply to any demands they have had. So how is it acceptable that they can fail me. Most importantly fail my family and put their safety on the line. They are currently trapped in our resident due to lines being down everywhere even across our house. All we wanted was verification it was safe for them to get out and get to safety. How can it be acceptable that they will not send anyone out!!!!! I could care less about the timeline of having it restored I just want my family to be safe!!!!!!!! This is not acceptable!!!!!!!! I hold them accountable for being better and doing better!!!!

There is very little if any business support. Communication with business customers is practically nonexistent. They do not appropriately staff their emergency phone lines. If there is an issue on ground, Alliant will not communicate with the property owner.
