Avoid this university! I attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. The Knoxville campus is beautiful, and the classrooms are clean and comfortable, and the students are friendly, but the professors stink! The professors have no talent whatsoever. Their lectures are dry as dust. They have no enthusiasm or passion. They are all State of Tennessee government employees -- dull, dry, uninspiring civil servants. They couldn't care less about their students. They care only about their paycheck and their health insurance and their Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System benefits. My diploma from this university is worthless. Literally worthless. Not one employer would hire me in my major after I graduated. I wasted tens of thousands of dollars in tuition and books and living expenses, and I wasted three years of my life, all for a worthless diploma that has no practical value except to scoop up dog poop. Avoid this university. Don't make the same fatal mistake I made. Sincerely, Bradley Kaufman, Morristown, Tennessee
Gorgeous. But aggressive parking authority so had to do a driving tour. Watched them slap on a tire boot w the lady coming. So caution. I loved the buildings and checkerboard designs on the clock. Lots of tall brick and trees. Love Smokey too! Again NO PUBLIC PARKING. Said Publix is the closest. Check out the rock and pet the statue dogs.
Love to Explore around Campus. Especially on Game Day 4 All the Tail Gate Parties and Vol Walk. Also Visiting the Vol Navy Dock. ☮💞😃🏉 Go Vols 🏉
8.26.23 I only visited the campus 2 times, just walked around, shopped at both book stores etc. Parking both times was just miserable as all parking garages were full. The campus was very clean. The shrines to Pat Summit were all over the campus. I heard going to a football game here is an amazing experience.

Went to Lindsey Nelson to watch the Vols baseball. Great win!. Walked on Harlem Field before the game. Got there early so parked in C6 but it was kind of crazy leaving due to a concert at TBA.
My wife and I had a great time at the Tenn/ Ky game on 10/29/22. Everywhere we went the people were nice and helpful.
Nice stadium - love the updates they done.. LED lights sound system sound awesome. It can be crowded (100K + fans)
Family Be aware they sell beer - but is a fun place to be cheering for UT VOLS...
Food and drinks are pricey - they Do cash and cards.

Take clear bags, easier to go thru the gate.

GO VOLS
UT Gardens are spectacular! Enjoy a private walk through their shaded tails, or a brisk jog along the riverside. There is something for everyone. There is even an interactive Children's Garden! With plenty of places to rest, either benchs or tables, it makes a wonderful place to sit and enjoy lunch. Take your family, take your friends, or just take yourself for a little alone time to unwind. It is well worth it!
