While the staff here is very friendly, some visitors really do not have social norms of how to be in a library. They brought their kids in and just let them shout non stop for 1-2 hours without an attempt to keep them silent or bring them out to the playground outside or the community centre nearby. While I acknowledge the difficulties of having kids, it is also parents’ responsibilities to tell their kids the dos and the donts instead of forcing the community to bear the noise with them.

A very friendly community library. Amazing helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location with lots of parking around the library, playground, and field outside the library, shopping center next door.

Interesting classes though fulled up quickly like other libraries. Efficient and friendly staff. But nowadays, the library is no longer quiet as people are talking like in a cafe.

We love Vic Park Library, it is priceless to have access to such a lovely facility , good readings selection. Reading groups have welcomed us with a unique space to growth our understanding about the country and the language and the staff is just great! Thanks for everything.

My experience is limited to the kids storytime, which is sadly a disappointing experience in comparison to Storytime run at other libraries in Perth. It feels like the session is just something that they need to offer. There doesn't seem to be any enthusiasm for it and it doesn't feel like the librarian is enjoying running the session. I wish the library would look into having someone run the session who genuinely loves it and is excited by children's literacy so they can really support our kids learning and instill a love of reading in them.

Great library to spend some quiet time reading and research. Also, the playground on the side is good place for kids to take a break before or after reading. Probably need more computers for the members.
