Lovely place to work or study. Would bring headphones for music since it can get a bit noisy
Requiring babies to have shoes is ridiculous! It is biomechanically better for them to NOT wear shoes when LEARNING to walk. Yet it's okay for him to crawl around the floor without Gloves? Pants?

Cissie stopped what she was doing immediately as soon as I approached her. I said I was sorry to bother her and she quickly responded with "no, not at all."
Most people would finish what they were doing prior to addressing someone at the desk. And they would probably say "that's okay" if I apologized for interrupting them. But Cissie stopped what she was doing and assured me I was of no disturbance.
She resolved my issue promptly and I was good to go! Thank you for making my first time experience here special and shining light on the golden rule.

Great place to get your youth cruiser card for Ride On buses. And yes this is serious.
Awesome Library for all age group. Just takes 5 min to open a library card. You can choose from a wide variety of books. Absolutely free to access. A paradise for book lovers.

Great library and very helpful librarians. Selection of books can be hit or miss, if you’re looking for a super popular book odds are you probably won’t find it but they might surprise you. I love that they have audiobooks you can rent out as well! So helpful!
I love going to White Oak Library. The staff there are very friendly and I think it is because of the renovations as the library is much bigger and there is more room to sit and read and the wide assortment of books is fantastic.
Return books via outside return slot. Sometimes books returned inside are not properly marked checked in. Staff are generally helpful here.
Beautiful and spacious, this is a good library. Plenty of computers, and areas to use your own device. Adult, teen, and kid spaces. Coffee spot in lobby that plays records🙂👍🏾
Only downside is parking- on street (paid) or nearby garage. I recommend. Info about community and resources. On the bus/ SS shuttle line.

Walked into the library by happenstance as I was roaming around the downtown area. Very happy to see that it was very clean and well-organized library. The staff are helpful and quite knowledgeable. Ended up getting a new library card and borrowing some movies and books!
Great space, especially since it's new. Lots for kids to do but it's a little smaller than Wheaton Regional library. Parking can be a little difficult
This is a very nice neighborhood library. However it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. What do I mean by this? The stores are on the other side of route 29. Walking from the library to the local 7-11 on a hot day would be brutal. There needs to be some type of convenience store close by within walking distance.

The staff here is AMAZING! I've never encountered any issues, and on several occasions I've witnessed them demonstrate the utmost respect and patience with people who've had trouble scanning, finding items, figure out how to login to the computer.
It feels like a community here. My daughter and I most enjoy working on the 1000-piece puzzles that are put out.
I love it. Might not be the most aesthetic choice, but it's definitely warm and supportive.

This place was recently renovated and it looks wonderful. Story time for the kids is very fun and educational. They also have a excellent selection of books for all ages.
