Loudest library I’ve ever been to. No one whispers. The staff are loud. The guests are loud and quiet is not enforced by the librarians. The time allotted for study rooms is only 2 hrs which is not enough. There is a quiet area supposedly but the heater is broken so it’s too cold to study in there at this time. Don’t recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to study. The staff are nice though and they have a wide selection of books, movies and games. Hate to give it a bad review but I really needed a quiet place to study and this was not it.
So many resources! Especially for the elderly and retired.
In person classes, social services assistance, large children's room with computers, you can barrow tools (gardening, cooking, baby equipment, etc.). And there's a large selection of used books and DVDs for sale for $1-2

The library is great. The children's department has lots of activities for kids and one of my sons is in middle school now and we'll be utilizing the teen room soon. They have an escape room coming up. The selection of both digital and paper books is great and the hold process/interlibrary loan process is easy. I find that I am able to get most of the books that I want to read.
Plus, the library is beautiful. It's big and cozy and the perfect place to just curl up with a book.

Really sweet staff, SO many resources, lots of cozy spaces to read or study, it was great!
I have enjoyed this library over the years; great stock of books, movies, and magazines, and the change they've made to the library is awesome; although, I miss the old one, downstairs with the wooden cubicles; you could sit there and disappear into your world. Stay safe everyone. We drove by there today and viewed some families in the lot, entering or dropping off due books or such. I did wonder since I knew they were to be closed today and tomorrow; what a life while the rest of us must get on getting there.

One of the best libraries around. Awesome staff, lovely space with quiet and not so quiet zones
I came here to study because i assume it would be quieter than my home as library’s are suppose to be a quiet place…right? but the workers are slamming things around at the desk and people come in and sit right by you and have full volume conversations with no respect for you. i would not recommend coming here to focus/study.
Plenty of room. Great selection of books in all categories, videos, magazines, music. Fun kids section. They offer activities for all ages and a very good newsletter.
Excellent!! Coming here for last 4 years and it has never disappointed. The library staff has been very helpful. Recent visit was for the The ice cream social on Feb 21, 2023. Even though it snowed in the morning, the enthusiasm was super joyful. Families coming for movie with ice cream is something not to be missed.
Shrewsbury Public Library has anormous collections of books , has a loving kids area, they issue students membership, photocopies, notaries the important papers etc for the people of Shrewsbury. Has a large Car parking area.
The Library it's amazing, clean, we'll organized, with a good variety of items, and a lot of activities. They have fee book clubs, an English Conversational Class, and many activities for youth and children.
We love our town library. The kids area is amazing, and our kids can't wait to go back. The selection of books and media is better than I've seen in larger cities. The services offered are great for the community too. Now, there's a new, larger building; funded my the resident's donations, because we love it.
