Top Fast food restaurants in Main Beach, Australia

My go to seafood place when i visit GC!! Lots of selection, always long queue but they are very quick, staff always friendly and quick!! as per photo we ordered a lot and all taste delicious 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 (great size lobster!!) love it!!

What impressed me the most was the freshness of the ingredients. The fish was sourced locally, and you could taste the difference. It was evident that the shop takes pride in using high-quality, sustainable seafood.

The portion size was generous, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied and content. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes.

The staff members were attentive and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and provide recommendations. Their passion for their craft was evident, and it added to the overall positive experience.

Lovely Fish and chips cooked here. Ordered the Peter's special and the portion was big and satisfying. Have a lovely lunch here and worthwhile for the price. They have seafood market too that sell fresh seafood. Recommended to try seafood dishes while travelling around the Southport Spit area.

This place is amazing, the wait is long and painful but worth it (every time ) food is yummy and quality can’t beat it. It is much more pricey than some places leaving a hole in your pocket but the fish is always fresh. The chip portions could be a bit bigger for the price, but very well worth the visit.

While the seafood was cooked well, I must say it was a rather average experience.
Long queue at the entrance (Sunday lunch time) however wait time was not too long - about 10-15 mins to order. Food took another 15-20 mins until ready.
A few issues/comments:
1) fish and chips was good, for $10
2) “garlic” lobster was fine for $30 however not very tasty
3) scallops (6 for $14.50) were over cooked (as can be seen in the picture) and the scallop meat itself shrunk
4) calamari rings (10 for $8) were fine
5) garlic sauce and tartare sauces taste the same!

Overall an okay seafood place to visit (spent $72) however did not meet the expectations from reading reviews in various online/social media articles

Also toilets located outside the building are quite dirty (just something to keep in mind) and parking space very limited. Suggest parking on the Main Street or opposite Sheraton Hotel

Ordering took a bit of time, but great Fish & Chips (Hoki, NZ) for A$10.

Fresh, perfectly crisp and cooked very well. Fish was lovely.

The fresh seafood was amazing. We had crabs and prawns they were so fresh and tasty. We also had one of the fish chip packages. It was good just the crumbed fish could have been better. I will come back to try a different type.

I did not like it, sorry. The service was friendly, the prices reasonable, but the food was average. The fish was too raw, the chips too soggy. The calamari were quite good.

In total, we waited almost 40 minutes in a queue with a lot of strange people. People who are rude, impolite and egoistic. The customers are definitively not the typical tourist or the „upper-class“. So, we waited for what? Disappointment? We will never this place again.
