It's a good place if you want to try somewhere different than the normal hyped ones.
Being Dharmender owned, you'll find his movies posters all over the place.

Food is not as yum as Mannat or sukhdev but still it can be given a shot.
Tea is good, must try.

Not at all crowded. You will always find ample space for sitting and also parking.
We had an exquisite breakfast at Garam Dharam Dhaba. The aloo paratha with pure makhan was a delightful treat, and the ambience, adorned with Dharam Paji and Sunny Paji themes, added a nostalgic charm to the dining experience. A perfect blend of flavors and Bollywood ambiance made it a memorable morning. Highly recommended!
It's a good place and tasty food.
They have a very large sitting arrangement with pics of dharmender ji all over the place
This place has a Bollywood vibe which will enhance your mood
People go to Murthal for delicious parathas. People go to Garam Dharam for delicious food. Although the golgappas were amazing , rest of the food to follow up was NOT.
The makki ki roti sarson ka saag was horrible. There was just no flavour at all in either the roti or the saag.
The overall ambience was good and it is certainly a place you can eat peacefully compared to Amrik Sukhdev but it certainly needs to pull it socks up on the flavour. (Although in defense. I don't find Amrik Sukhdev great either)

Food is good💯, Liked Tandoori Paranthas more than the Tawa ones..Stuffing is also sufficient. Masala Chai is a must try.
Super crowded during peak hours but service is prompt.

Great food. We had aloo paranthas and aloo/onion paranthas which were great. It's amazing to see such a large place and heavily crowded but still the service is prompt and friendly staff. Only downside was the parking staff both while entering and getting out. Unnecessary hassles like park few inches here and insisting for tip when you don't have change is a downer. Overall great place to have paranthas...

Food was average. The tea was excellent. Maybe we expected a little bit too much due the place being so overhyped. We went there at around 9am, and the place was super crowded. It was really chaotic and not in a good way. Customers keep standing around near your table literally just beside your chairs constantly watching to see when you finish and get up (even we had to do that to get a table). Just beside our table an argument broke out about who will sit once the table clears. IMO the place is not worth the hassle especially during peak hours.

Had a quick stopover at the place. Tried their gravy champ vegetable and a mix veg. Food was average. High on salt and oil. Atmosphere is quite like dhaba and food price was nominal. Tried their masala chai and it was quite peppy. A one time recommended place as this franchise belongs to Deol family.

Not sure if you should call it a Dhaba, but going by the history of the place, it seems to have started from being a small eatery to the current stage which it is in now.
Bang in the highway it attracts a very trendy crowd. Seems the number of cars which are parked in this place easily runs in to close to 500 + numbers with a constant in and out flow. Suffice to say many of the other similar large scale eateries close to this place do not seem to be getting even 25% of the footfall earned bill this place.
The food though not very cheap is also not very costly. Quality , taste and service is also great. My recommendation if you are ever in this locality and hungry look no further and just make a halt here.

My full 5 star rating for this place.

Cheers !!!!!
Garam dharam has lost its charm and beauty. This used to be really happening and lived up to its name.

But now it's lost its quality, presentation and service.

I visited again but sorry to say we immediately stepped out as it's feel like secluded place like an old and haunted house.

Still it was filled with customers, kids and family may be they have not seen the earlier garam dharam.

It was packed with gathering but somehow I didn't get the weekend vibe and stepped out of this place for another place which is also at murthal.

They should improve the way it used to be.

Garam Dharam Murthal is a popular dhaba in Murthal, Haryana, India, named after the Bollywood actor Dharmendra. The dhaba is known for its North Indian cuisine, especially its paranthas and lassi.

Garam Dharam Murthal is a large dhaba with a seating capacity of over 1000 people. The dhaba has a rustic ambience with walls painted with Dharmendra's posters and dummy vehicles on display.

The menu at Garam Dharam Murthal is extensive, with a wide variety of North Indian dishes to choose from. The dhaba is particularly known for its paranthas, which are available in a variety of fillings, such as aloo (potato), gobhi (cauliflower), and paneer (Indian cottage cheese). The dhaba also serves a variety of other dishes, such as dal makhani, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken.

The food at Garam Dharam Murthal is generally well-prepared and tasty. The paranthas are especially popular, and are known for their large size and delicious fillings. The dhaba also serves a variety of desserts, such as gulab jamun and jalebi.

The service at Garam Dharam Murthal is generally good, with the staff being attentive and helpful. However, some reviewers have complained about long waiting times, especially on weekends and holidays.

Overall, Garam Dharam Murthal is a good option for a hearty North Indian meal. The dhaba has a large menu, and the food is generally well-prepared and tasty. However, be aware of the potential for long waiting times, especially on weekends and holidays.

Recommendation:

I recommend Garam Dharam Murthal if you are looking for a hearty North Indian meal. However, be aware of the potential for long waiting times, especially on weekends and holidays.
A decent stopover place to munch on parantha's. Nothing great but nothing bad too. Jalebis are a must try, thin crispy lip smacking good jalebis 👌
the vibe is amazing and the food is top-class! what makes it one of the best food outlets is the service. they are so cooperative and helpful. whether it's just a light parantha breakfast or snacks or full fledged main course lunch - you'll love your time here.
Food and service both were good. Rates are also affordable. Quantity per serve is also sufficient.
There was a lot of rush so if you are going then keep time as well as patience to wait for the seat.
Loved the place, service and staff.
One of the best Dabha in north india. Food is delicious. The ambiance is superb, very clean and hygienic. The toilet is also clean. Parking has enough space and the restaurant is also big enough. Mostly crowded, even after midnight also you will find many people here. Completely vegetarian food so no option for nonveg lovers! ✨💯
Great food but very very crowded.

There are two options if you want to take the full experience then sit inside then they will serve you as per the waiting list or you can sit outside and serve yourself in disposal items if you are in a hurry.

Best tea and Paratha combo ever , must try.

There are other public attractions like Turkish ice cream,a parking area for kids and a shopping area.
Good place to spend some quality time when friends and family.
It attracts a huge crowd, and it's the biggest Restaurant I saw so far.
It can accommodate thousands of people and it has ample parking space too.
Although despite being such a big dhaaba, finding space can sometimes be difficult in peak hours.
Had planned to go for this place for years but always missed the chance. Finally made it there with a bunch of friends who came from abroad. You can see the sign from far away and the hustle bustle of this place is enough to excite you about the food mania that’s going on inside there. Plenty of parking spaces which makes it an easy access and you walk in to their massive restaurant where seating is also in plenty. The staff saw I was with foreigners and immediately attended to our needs to save us from the chaos. Straight away order the lassi, aloo paratha, chole bhature and of course the sweets. The service was top class where the staff constantly made sure that my friends were comfortable and if they liked the food or not. At the end they even convinced us to have their Jalebi and Rabri and made a special batch for us early in the morning. The food was totally on point and the simple paratha and makhan made my day. Definitely a place that knows they are famous and makes sure that there is no hiccups at customer service. I will definitely go back here someday!
Service is super quick, food was okayish.
Place is Extremely crowded at all times (be it any day Or time)
Have to stand on people's head whilethey're having their food to get the table.
No easy parking even on a weekday.
