I ordered the double Bacon & Cheddar Burger and fries. The burger was delicious and one of the best I tasted in a long time. The Angus beef used in the burger was moist and had natural fresh flavor. The special TBI sauce was just right. The service behind the counter and cook were courteous. They were accommodating and friendly. I wish there was another That Burger Joint in Gurnee area. Definitely, I must return to this Skokie location. Highly recommended!

That spicy burger has actual kick to it. It was so delicious! The fries were fresh and crispy not soggy. Ryan who took our order and prepared our food was friendly and helpful.

Pretzel was way over cooked as soon as cooled down hard as a rock couldn't eat wasted money

Thus is the second time that I have ordered sandwiches AND CHIPS &DRINK. They will not refund my money. He told me to come pick it up. I had it delivered. They are also rude on the phone.

This location only had a kiosk option for ordering. Here is a tip: if you are in a hurry, do not order the chicken sandwich. It took considerably longer than the hamburger my friends ordered at the same time. The chicken sandwich was excellent, though. For me, it was worth the wait.

They no longer have a person taking your order and have a tablet that is a pain to use and you can't go back and add to your order. The order will completely cancel if you try to go back. There was three or four guys working just standing around talking and weren't even willing to help when you see people visibly having issues.

I had lunch there yesterday. A bbq sandwich. Great recomendatiin and great sandwich!

First timer. I will be back. Expectations matched experience. Potato bun super tasty, burger juicy flavorful, cheese great melt. Fries crisp, not overly salted. Black and White shake, luscious, creamy, delightful. Will def be back!!!!

Got a burger, milkshake and fries. While the fries and shake were good, the burger was beyond disappointing... it was overcooked, dry, and had one measly piece of bacon. For a $10 burger (and from a place called "That Burger Joint"), it was bad. Seriously, I would have been happier with something from Burger King or McDonald's - and that's saying a lot.

Got a sandwich that was billed at 7.99 on the menu but came out to $11. Idk where the extra amount came from but my guess is the women asked me if I wanted the MVP instead of the mayo I wanted and thought the mvp sauce came with that specifically sandwich. Didn't feel like making a fuzz as I'm sure its the owner pushing for the upcharge and not the employee but doubt I'll be back.

Hands down best subway to get a sandwich ever.. good all around. Great staff

They let 3 kids run the counter they are on their phones and distracted and joking around. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. It is just two slices of bread with a little meat inside the sandwich is very small and won'tfill most people up. Askde for dijon mustard, they don't have that. $21.86 fr a smallish sandwich with homemade chips some slaw and a pickle. Over priced and underwhelming.

I love getting food from here. The taste is great. And it's one of the few places I can find that have mujadara. Lately it's been a bit inconsistent with ordering in. Specifically the last two times I've gotten the hearty veggie combo once I was missing a piece of falafel and another time the onions were missing. Onions missing was so disappointing because that's what makes mujadara so good! Without them it's just rice with a splattering of lentils.
However, when they get the food right this is my go to place.

Sandwich Club is one of the best kosher Restaurants in Chicago, the Donny is fabulous, the problem is they are extremely cheap about their sauce, they switched up the meat from a couple years back, and now the Donny is more Dry, i used to ask them to make sure that it’s not dry bc it doesn’t taste as good and then they would charge me .50¢ (I don’t care about .50¢ but it’s the principal that bothers me) other than that their firecracker is delicious!

Overpriced, overcooked and overrated. In one word: Underwhelmed. Had the turkey burger and for 10 bucks expected a burger that was at least as thick as the lettuce. It had zero flavor but hard to have flavor and juicy-ness when the burger is paper thin. Definitely disappointed - save your stomach some frustration and go someplace else.

After bringing a wrong order, the “manager” instead of apologizing and bringing a correct order, decided to yell at me saying I was wrong and they already made the burgers🫤 ruined the whole dinner. Won’t be coming back. Very disappointing. Instead of enjoying my dinner with my kids, we had to listen to her complainings.

We love Zad. My partner is there almost every Friday. He always brings me a platter back. So it is a weekly event. The food is really good and they are pretty consist. I went with him this time. I wish I had taken a photo.

Staff here is so nice and knowledgeable! The rice with veggies is outstanding. They also sell falafel dough! Their falafel is some of the best around.

The best Mediterranean food in the state if not the USA if you’re in the area or within 100 mile radius you should absolutely stop by. Everything is always so good and whenever I have other Mediterranean restaurants that are good I always say “but it’s not Pita inn” chicken shawarma is better then the spicy version. Humus is second to none. Ask for your falafels in a brown bag instead of styrofoam so they stay crisp. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

I like this settlement. While the prices are a bit high and food quality has gone down over the past few years, I still enjoy dining here! Never had a terrible meal. A good place for a quick Bite. Service was fine, people were friendly. our food took a long to time to be served but that could be excused as it was during a very busy lunch hour. Atmosphere is neutral. Building is easily accessible.

This is my first experience at Epic burger and I got the famous turkey. It was ranked and one of the best burgers in the US. The burger wasn't the greatest but for a chain restaurant the quality was better than most. The food is way overpriced. 3 burgers and fries, and 3 soft drinks was almost $70. That's a bit much for lunch if you ask me. My mom is vegan and got the beyond burger and she too was underwhelmed. The burger was tasteless no seasoning. The kids got the build your own burger and they seemed to enjoy it.

I really like this place for Middle Eastern food. I often explored different dishes although I never know what I'm ordering. The outcome is always good. Stop by the Dempster Street location. You won't be disappointed.

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Been here a few times and glad there is one nearby. Can do without the Shack Sauce. Recent visit today is for National Cheeseburger Day so have to spend it at one of the best burger chains. Came around 7pm and it was a bit busy. Service may be slow but they do make the burgers to order. They have kiosks near the registers but I'd rather order with a one of the cashier staff. Pictured here is a ShackBurger with Bacon as a Lettuce Wrap ( my go-to order), Double ShackBurger, and customized ShackBurger (well done) with Cherry Peppers (key ingredient!) and Sliced Onions.

If you’re going to finish off your dips and certain dishes with olive oil, make sure it’s a good, properly stored pure olive oil. It’s obvious you guys use a mix (I’m guessing sunflower) which is fine for cooking but not for finishing. It tastes cheap and old and adds nothing to a hummus or baba ghanoush except rancid oiliness.

This restaurant is down the street from my boyfriend's house, so we eat here on occasion. The food is very good and I think it's a great value for the money since the portions are pretty large. We both get the combination platter every time we go.

Nice place to grab an informal bite to eat. The food is good, fast, and a good buy. The menu is rich in variety so if you are vegan or keto you can find it here. I had the spicy chicken and it was mildly spicy but still very good.

Absolutely love Pita Inn! The flavors in their Mediterranean dishes are exceptional. The hummus is incredibly creamy, and the falafels are perfection—crispy outside and tender inside. The variety on their menu ensures there's something for everyone. Friendly staff and quick service make dining here a pleasure. Clean and inviting ambiance. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Middle Eastern cuisine!

Pita Inn is a bustling gem, and the veggie plate with tender, fresh falafel and delightful hummus is a go-to. Although rice was missing this time, the plant-based chicken plate, with its impressive soy-based texture and flavor, was a pleasant surprise. True, the service was a tad slow amidst the crowd, but the taste made up for it. The ambiance, typical of Pita Inn, didn't disappoint, and the charming bubbling sign added a touch of nostalgia. A solid choice for a satisfying Mediterranean experience!

We had the best experience at Pita Inn today! Latif went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious as always! Pita Inn is one of our favorite places!

Always loved this place. But no more ordered 2 burgers with fries, and they charged small, not even full Epic sauces $0.99 each. What a shame, Epic burger!

That burgers were reasonably priced and the patty is a bit cold when served but could be the fries 🍟 took a bit longer to cook and they serve everything we ordered at the same time.

The chicken tenders were hot and the meat was not dry. We liked the bbq dip.

Overall the burgers for the price is decent and the truffle fries had generous truffle cheese atop.

It is a nice snack before Oberweiss right at the same shop.

The food is always fantastic and we enjoy ordering a variety of food from them. Unfortunately they are fairly disorganized. We ordered delivery and after waiting an hour and a half for delivery, the driver left half the order at the restaurant because they put the order in two bags and the restaurant did not indicate that there were two bags to the order. When I called they were unhelpful and nkted that they knew the driver left half the order and they did nothing to correct this situation or contact us. They said I had to call the delivery company to solve the issue (which I did and they were very kind and helpful). This restaurant places all take out or delivery orders at the front and do not check out the food with the delivery drivers. When I talked to one of the workers they acknowledged that this happens multiple times but do not seem interested in improving their system. When I suggested that they tie the bags together so that the delivery drivers know that there are multiple bags to the order they just stared at me without any acknowledgment even a simple statement acknowledging the feedback. I enjoy the food but wish their service was better.

We went there recently. We had a Vanilla shake and a Strawberry shake. Even as a sweet lover, I felt the shakes were a bit too sweet. We loved their fries.

I ordered today fish burger it was soo good like the taste there are many options for burgers I wanted to try veggie but it was all done for the day so took fish burger anyways nice place n taste was gud too.

This is my 5th or 6th having Epic Burger, so I am long overdue for a review. I decided to write one now since this may have been my best experience yet. Me, my cousin, and my sister came yesterday for some burgers, and the burgers were amazing as per usual. I got the Triple Epic w/ Fried Egg. Would definitely recommend Fried Egg on top of your burger. But, I really liked the guy behind the register. I don't remember his name, but he was professional and calm & collected. Overall, I had a great time and I hope an Epic Burger opens up in the Libertyville Area.

I recently visited Shake Shack, and while I had high hopes for a satisfying dining experience, I left feeling somewhat disappointed. One of the major drawbacks of my visit was the slow service. It took an unusually long time for me to place my order, and even longer to receive my food.
The ordering process seemed disorganized and inefficient. The staff appeared overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the demands of the customers. It was frustrating to wait in line for an extended period, only to face further delays in getting my meal. It would have been much more enjoyable if the service had been more prompt and streamlined.
Unfortunately, the food at Shake Shack did not make up for the lackluster service. While I had heard great things about their offerings, I found the quality to be mediocre at best. The burger I ordered lacked the juiciness and flavor I had anticipated. The meat was dry, and the toppings failed to elevate the overall taste. The accompanying fries were disappointingly ordinary and lacked the crispiness I had hoped for.
Given the hype surrounding Shake Shack, I couldn't help but feel let down by the overall experience. The slow service coupled with the average quality of the food left me wanting more. I had higher expectations for a renowned burger chain, and unfortunately, they were not met during my visit.
While I understand that individual experiences may vary, based on my personal encounter, I cannot confidently recommend Shake Shack. If you decide to give it a try, I suggest managing your expectations and being prepared for potential service delays and average food quality.

This is one of the best shawerma places in chicago. Very juicy and tasty. No unnecessary additions just the great basic shawerma.
Falafel and hummus are also great. Highly recommend 💯

It's okay. When I got a drink, the little nosil fell off, and soda got all over the floor. The burger was good, fries ok. Also, I got a milkshake. That was ok, though.

I stopped in to this Subway and ordered a foot long chicken bacon ranch sub. I was served by Gabriel. He charged me almost $15 for one sandwich and also did not give me a receipt. I called the store to see why I was charged so much when online it says the sandwich should cost $12.39 including taxes. Gabriel stated that he charged me an extra $2 for rotisserie chicken even though on the online menu the sandwich comes with that chicken. I am extremely disappointed in my experience at this subway. I suggest anyone who shops at this subway to double check their order and what the store is charging you before you pay.

I can't find any ham inside the sandwich, and I can't understand how this sandwich is made. Never go to this location Subway.

First time at this location...usually go to Milwaukee location. The setup, wall decorations, and overall seating is great. However, their music is very loud especially when you are trying to listen for your order number. Food was prepared fast and good quantity as always for businesslunchspecial. Spicy chicken and kebabs was way too dry so, made the experience a little disappointing but will be back in future....

If you have not tried Epic Burger you must it is delicious definitely worth trying it. I got a double burger with cheese it is the best burger I have tried. The french fries were very crispy and tasty.

I will never ever go to his place to get subway Bcz they not tossing the pizza well and it’s all cold from inside and they charging extra for veggie that we put on pizza so that’s wrong no subway charge extra for veggie and sauce .

It was a awful service I orders a pizza and the pizza is $5.99 he charged me $8.97 I asked why this much he said because of you put extra veggies , sauce and extra toasted. I have worked for subway for last 2 years I know that there is no extra charge for veggies sauce and extra toasted. There was also a girl working and she said if you don’t like it don’t come here this is not the way you take to costumer the Oner should fire them.

My daughter ordered a burger with beef fry and an egg and dressing on it. Burger arrived without dressing. She still absolutely loved the burger (I tasted and was not a fan).
I ordered a small bowl of turkey soup. It was decent, and if it would of arrived hot I probably would of enjoyed it more. I order a side garden salad, it was plenty large and looked very nice on first view. The problem was it was not fresh. Some of the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes were kinda mushy. My guess is it was made day beforehand and kept in a too cold refrigerator. I had it with French dressing with was bland but acceptable tasting, it was too thick to pour properly, probably due to age and being refrigerated too cold.
The Buffalo wings were tasty but kinda small, the ranch dressing was bland but acceptable. The celery sticks on the other hand were atrocious! It was like they gave us the top trimmings and what they forgot to throw away. The cole slaw was presentable but very bland. With better service attitude and attention to detail this could be a good restaurant, unfortunately they are not there at this point. The outside seating was sufficient and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, at the time we've arrived the lamb tenderloin was not available, so we got steak kebab instead (very good too!), spicy hummus and baba ganoush paired beautifully with warm pita, falafel wrap was nicely toasted, yogurt based onion dip for French fries tasted refreshing compared to regular mayo sauce, beef was juicy.

We stopped by here today to have some dinner since we always see how packed this restaurant is. There was a slight misunderstanding with our order but thanks to amazing manager of this location everything has resolved quickly and efficiently. It’s indeed mind blowingly delicious, shakes aren’t that super sweet and heavy comparing for instance the Culver’s ones. We will be coming back to eat their yummy burgers for sure, so far one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten.

I'm going to actually increase my review score of the sandwich club. They have improved their food quality considerably, and have very interesting monthly sandwiches to try. They have also improved their service quality as well. Great job to the team at Sandwich club for doing better with the restaurant, and really making it a very enjoyable experience

Wow! I thinking I was in the mood to get a hamburger and why not go to Shake Shack, I had never tried it before. We went out of our way to there and I wasn't impressed but, now I can say I've gone. My hubby got a double cheese burger and I got a single. Fries are extra Abd they were good. The hamburgers were good but nothing special. I also added a chocolate shake, I mean it's a Shake Shack. I expected a rich deep chocolate flavored shake. Unfortunately it tasted like a Wendy's chocolate shake. Let's face it Wendy's is cheaper. If I was shopping at the mall on a hot day I may stop in and get a shake but other than that I don't see myself going back.

Extremely convenient location with plenty of parking spots right in front of it. They serve incredibly tasty burgers and made to order shakes. That Burger Joint is always clean, well organized, employees are professional, quick and polite. Love this place and I am so happy that they are in my neighborhood!

Well had a craving for both Oberweis and That burger joint since I had a craving. All is well however I probably will not come at this particular location after experiencing the disappointing limits of dining in and a somewhat aggressive confrontational staff on the that burger joint side of the establishment. If photography is forbidden to staff members than please post a noticeable sign about that. I understand I guess the privacy of certain employee not wanting to get pictured despite the open kitchen at that burger joint cooking but due understand that their will be a gray area of people yelping, using Google and trip advisor to post reviews on their dining experience despite the pandemic. If such the case you do not need to be aggressively hostile towards the customer next to a manager to be so aggressively confrontational. Other than that beware by accident not to do this otherwise That Burger Joint staffing will scold you like a bad child who didn't know or understand why or what went wrong while waiting and taking pics for other viewers to see the ambiance. I could have given 3 stars but that wouldn't be fair because the food was good but the staff kind of gave me a bad taste in my mouth of how they talked to me.
