Had the double char burger with cheese, it was delicious. Delivered by grub hub, quick and delicious!

I've been here twice and both experiences have been the same. Dined in. Sitting area is clean, with typical crumbs here and there as expected in a fast food restaurant. The food is good, and the guests I came with really liked it and expressed that they would come back as well. So far we've had fries, sweet potatoes fries, green beans, and the Portabella Char burger. The food isn't the best out there, but it's not terrible either. I'd come back for sure. I really want to give this place 5 stars, but I can't. The burger does have gristle, and it's a thinner burger patty, and it's not a "fresh" patty. If it is, it doesn't taste like it. Sweet potato fries are delicious! However, they were served warm both times since they sit up on the waiting counter as the burger is being cooked and assembled. The tea is brewed and not from a machine, so that's great since there's not many "healthier" drink options here. The service isn't bad, but it's not top notch. It's your typical service of, here's your food, and that's it. You might get a smile, but if not it's not replaced with a bad attitude. It's been neutral. I ordered from the kiosk for both visits and each time I had to request my cup when receiving my food. Also, be sure to make sure you get the correct dressing /dip, even if it's on your slip you'll probably get something different. Prices are reasonable. It was $6.99 for the Portabella Char burger. Overall, I've had a positive experience and would come back again, expecting typical service and food for a fast food burger joint.

I had never heard of this place until the one in East Brunswick opened in front of my job and I decided to give it a try. I was very hesitant because it’s a little pricey. But it is worth…every…penny! Listen up this place blows every fast food burger chain out of the water. I don’t go anywhere else. The only thing comparable was chick filet before they ended the no antibiotics promise. I haven’t gone back there since. I tried the River edge location after my job transferred me to garden state plaza. I will be a long time customer!

This is a great tasting burger, but only if they grill it to order.
Reheating this burger is a no-no.

My husband and I were in the mood for some good burgers, so we stopped by Habit Burger. We've been here before, and really enjoy their Portobello burgers and tempura green beans. Not greasy and yet it's filling and hits the spot.

The location was spacious and clean, and the service was good.

Definitely on our list for good local burger places in the area.

I love hamburgers, and with the coupons I really get a chance to eat a great burger and savings.

First time visit to The Habit, I wanted a burger but have recently decided to eat less bread so when I googled where to get a lettuce wrap this place was first on the list.
Inside is nicely decorated, lots of seating space, and signs are nice and bright to read the menu.
You can see straight back to the kitchen, I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger and the Fried Green Beans instead of fries. Burger was great, lettuce was wrapped with pieces of lettuce and not just one piece from other places. The greens were good plain, but the spicy sauce that goes with it takes them from a 6-7 to a 10, will return for sure.

It's a decent burger. Is it the best I've had, no. But is it edible and good enough to hit the spot? Yes. The presentation could be better. The past few times I went it's gotten better and it's good value for the money.
