The day commenced on a somewhat frustrating note with a delayed pickup at 15:30 instead of the scheduled 15:00. The subsequent 40-minute meandering drive to collect guests from different hotels left us puzzled, as we seemed to traverse the same street repeatedly.

Upon reaching the safari center, the commercial aspect unfolded. Attempts to sell protective transparent glasses for $5, citing impending darkness, felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine concern for visibility. Similarly, a $3 scarf was offered, despite having already procured one for $1 from our hotel.

While the quads were operational, their subpar condition was evident. Safety concerns escalated as no helmets were provided, despite spotting them at the safari camp. Nightfall during the tour compromised visibility, adding an unsettling dimension to the experience.

The Bedouin camp, designed like an amphitheater, offered a visually captivating setting. However, the delay in serving food to non-VIP guests was a significant drawback. The guide's efforts to ensure our well-being were commendable, but the one to one-and-a-half-hour wait for buffet access, combined with limited portions and persistent attempts to sell snacks, left many hungry and disheartened.

Outside the Bedouin camp, our guide offered us the chance to ride camels and take pictures. However, the experience was marred by complete darkness, robbing us of the opportunity to enjoy. Ride lasted 4-5 minutes roughly.

Despite the hiccups, our guide demonstrated friendliness and genuine concern for our well-being. Language became a barrier as he predominantly communicated in Italian, despite our mixed group composition. Although he switched to English briefly upon request, he reverted to Italian for the remainder of the trip.

On a positive financial note, booking through GetYourGuide with Egyptra Travel proved economical at $21 per person, highlighting the potential variance in prices within our group, ranging from $18 to $50 through different channels.

In summary, the Sharm El Sheikh safari adventure, while offering diverse activities, was marred by delayed pickups, safety concerns, slow buffet service, language barriers, and a commercial overtone. Overall experience remains a mixed bag with affordability through Egyptra Travel providing a redeeming quality.

I had a great time on this tour 😍. Hurghada is absolutely amazing. A must see destination. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained all the sights and history of the city. We visited the markets, shops and mosque and church and I saw the different cultures and areas. Very interesting and pleasant ♥️💙💚

Highly recommended. Used twice to get from Luxor to Hurghada then Hurghada to Cairo Airport. They are very responsive and flexible with pickup times and locations, the drivers are friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable too, as long as you pay in euros and not the local currency.

My mom and I booked a ride from Hurghada to Luxor and all went smoothly! The driver managed all the checkpoints and stopped once at a convenience station for us to grab snacks and use the restroom. We were a little nervous traveling alone across the desert but felt perfectly safe and had an easy trip. Would recommend!

The crew are professional and all of them are respectful and make you feel safe during the whole trip. When we were snorkeling they made sure that everyone in the group are safe in the ocean. Alex group is the one to recommend! The photographers were on top, they capture amazing photos and videos in the ocean (when snorkeling) and on Orange Bay Island.

I booked a last minute taxi on 4 June 2023 from Hurghada Airport to Luxor.
I booked a taxi with another company, and they canceled at the last minute.
My flight was leaving early morning To Hurghada,desperately I was running out of time.
Then I ran across this miracle company..

Believe me guys, this will be the only number you’ll need to travel within Egypt.
Honestly I was prepared to overnight somewhere in Hurghada.
Came out of the Airport,

We then drove 4 hours to Luxor.
And by the way
I booked them for my return flight on 13 June
I ordered my taxi for 06:00
And the driver was in front of my hotel at 05:30

Excursion to Cairo has been fantastic! It is worth every penny , it’s a long day but it’s so worth it, you get to experience so much in one day and the whole team looks after you. Well done to Hanan and the entire team for being so good at their job

The crew were friendly and enthusiastic throughout the whole tour. The meal was delicious and they provided us with 2 different snorkeling trips each lasting 30/40 mins. We then arrived at Orange Bay staying there for 2 hrs. During our journey back we were provided fruits and drinks were provided for the whole day.

unbelievable trip to orange bay today - from start to finish the trip was unforgettable. We headed out into the Red Sea where we then snorkelled along the reef it was beautiful & saw lots of fish we then headed to another location to do more snorkelling & diving off the boat before our lunch! Lunch was delicious everyone on board the staff, chef, snorkelling instructor were all so welcoming & helpful! I would highly recommend this trip & will definitely be back. Thank you so much X

Bei der Ankunft in Hurghada klappte der Transfer bach Saahl Hasheesh hervorragend.

Beim Heimflug kam der Wagen nicht. Nach einem Anruf bei Mohamed kam der Wagen 30 Minuten zu spät. Der freundliche Fahrer entschuldigte sich damit, er wäre beim falschen Sunrise Hotel gestanden. Mit einer flotten Fahrt machte er etwas der verlorenen Zeit wieder wett.

So etwas sollte aber nicht passieren.

Wieder einmal hat Mermaid Tours sein Versprechen eingehalten. Bei diesem Trip konnten wir sogar dutzende Delfine auf einem Platz gesehen. Es hat mega viel Spaß gemacht wie immer. All the drivers were on time and polite. This is the second time using this service. It’s really good with people who aren’t as adventurous as my son. He enjoyed the rides and being able to see a lot. They pick us up in Cairo to Hurghada and from Hurghada to Luxor. Really stress free and safe.
