Machu Picchu Peru Tours full day Sacred Valley was an amazing highlight of our trip to Peru. Do not miss it! Our driver Julio Cesar took us on time and safely to all amazing places and experiences beating the crowds. The guide, Erik, was the most passionated guide I’ve met. An incredible story teller, knowledgeable and giving us a superb experience. It was a real perfect day and an amazing almost private tour feeling like a super engaging history class. Don’t think twice.

We had a perfect tour with Erik! Super nice and friendly. He knows a lot and loves to share the history!
Highly recommend this agency!🫶

Great experience! I had the tour with Erick and Julio and they were awesome! They work with small groups so that enhance the experience. Then, Erick will explain to you many interesting facts about the Inca culture and else. Totally recommended!!!

We had amazing tour to Vinicunca rainbow mountain. Our guide Julian was funny and helpful. We ordered private tour so we had plenty of time to enjoy the place with no hurry

We toured with Machu Picchu Peru Tours through the Cusco area and Machu Picchu. We traveled as a family of four and had a great time. The tours were well organized and always prompt to pick us up and take us to our next destination. Special thanks to our tour guides Edmar (Cusco city tour), Juandi (Sacred Valley) and Jennifer Sulca (Machu Picchu) for showing us the best sites and explaining everything patiently - and even taking care of us when we needed some help (the altitude got to us from time to time) - always friendly. Would definitely tour with this company again!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped organise our fantastic trip to Machu Picchu and our amazing guide Jersey who was so professional and knowledgeable he made our trip so memorable w we can’t thank you enough you made it so easy 👍❤️

I went on their "Butt Buster" tour to the Lost Canyon. We rode in this rickety toyota over all these bumps and it was awful. I got the worst seat in the van and my butt hurt so bad I couldn't sit down. Plus, my head hit the side of the van 3 times. Worst tour ever!
This company is unprepared, doesn't plan out your tours, and doesn't care about their customers. We had 3 big issues with their tour, but the "Butt Buster" part was the worst.
The other issues were:
- Almost missing our bus back to Lima because the guides decided to do a random "Pisco" Tasting.
- Not getting our bus tickets in time.
- Not being told that I needed a physical passport to take the bus. I've traveled the world and used a photo of my passport to take buses everywhere else.
- Dealing with an unprofessional guide in Huacachina to take the Sand Buggiest.
Use a different tour company. Or, take the bus to Ica and book the tours and hotel individually. Machu Picchu Peru Tours sucks as a tour company.

I had such a wonderful experience with Machu Picchu Terra from the moment I booked my ticket to the moment they dropped me off. Everything was perfect. This company was extremely organized & Professional,I highly highly recommend them. I found them online & chose them because they did not leave super early, no mandatory breakfast/lunch which I dislike and the package included everything. After reading their great reviews I went ahead & booked the ticket at an incredibly cheap price. I even tried to book the bus, train,Machu Picchu ticket with guide separately yet it would end up costing me double .My tour included the pick up from my hotel to the Cusco bus station. Because I was going in Feb there was no direct train from Cusco to Aguas Caliente due to rainy season so the ticket included the bus to Oyentetambo & a Peru rail train to Aguas Caliente. The ticket also included the bus from Aguas Caliente to Machu Picchu & a professional guide to show us Machu Picchu. All the returns were included as well. The Tour picked you up at 5 AM and brought you back by 9 PM which was reasonable..
Once I paid online, I got an immediate confirmation with our itinerary. I was able to email them and communicate with them through WhatsApp.
2 days before my Machu Picchu tour they dropped off a big package with all my tickets at my hotel. I was incredibly grateful & all the information was there, including more of a detailed itinerary.
The day of the tour, my Tour guide came to pick me up right on time. His name was Atner. What an incredible person, very friendly and professional, spoke perfect, Spanish/ English, super informative. He was there from beginning to end, kept his eyes close on us to make sure none of us got lost, which I did not expect. Many of my friends have taken these kind of tours, & were kind of left hanging at the station for transfers not knowing what to do. Atner was there all the way & I felt very safe having this guide with us.
The transportation took a good part of the day as it took us almost 4 hours to get to the Sacred citadel. Once we got there, unfortunately there was too much rain & clouds, we could not see the mountain but we did see a lot of beauty as the area is absolutely incredible. But what made my experience pleasant was not only my tour guide but I lovely photographers that accompanied them. They were a team of 3 young people,Renzo a guy & girl. They were the official photographers of Machu Picchu Terra. They gladly took photos of us with our own phones which I am so grateful for. As a solo traveler it’s always awkward for me to ask strangers to take photos of me, and these wonderful people did a great job to help me with that. Our group was split in different activity levels as some of us were a bit faster. Atner stayed with the other wonderful people of my group, but Renzo & the photographers were quicker so they acted as my guides. Renzo spoke perfect English,Spanish & explain so many things to me. He took such beautiful pictures of me at Machu Picchu. I am so grateful Renzo , he is a true, genuine, kind person & a wonderful photographer, artists.
All in all such a wonderful experience with this tour company. I’m already planning to come back in hotter months to see the citadel without the rain. I know I want to book with this company again but only if I will get the same photographers & tour guide. For everyone reading this, please do not hesitate, book your tour with this company. This is one of the best tours I’ve ever taken in my life. The only regret that I have is not being able to tip my photographers. I was able to tip my guide( please tip the guides very well because they work hard) but once we got on our last bus, I realized that our photographers did not come with us. Renzo really deserve the biggest tip and I am sad because he was also an excellent guide for me. Perhaps next time I shall tip double! In conclusion I want to thank Machu Picchu Terra, At er & Renzo for this unforgettable experience. I am so grateful & I appreciate these people so much.

Done the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek with our guide Zucemo who I can’t praise enough. All round excellent tour which ran very smoothly. We were well informed the whole way of what was happening each day but also didnt feel like our hands were being held every step. Great food from the chefs the whole time, portions always more than enough! Got very lucky and had incredible views of Machu Picchu which was also a bonus. Also very good activities throughout, visiting a coffee plantation and also great hot springs. Highly recommend

I really recommend the 4 or 5 day Salkantay trek! The scenery was gorgeous no matter the weather. What made it even better was the food, it was always nicely prepared and tasted delicious 😊. Thank you Edison and William for your guidance!!

We had a great time on the Salkantay Trek. Our guides Abel & Edison were the best and, together with the excellent care by the kitchen team around Willy, ensured 5 wonderful days. Everything was well organized and we had an unforgettable time! Thank you very much for that.

Amazing trek! Some amazing views along the way before seeing Machu Picchu on the fifth day. Great food, accommodation and people! Would highly recommend. Our tour guide Abel was fun and had plenty of stories to share!

We did Machu Picchu two day trip and was perfect. The tour guides were wonderful. Very knowledgeable and caring. Everything was well organised, making for a smooth and memorable it is Highly recommended.

Fantastic & memorable Machu Picchu day trip. That was the best experience I had in Peru. The tour guide was amazing. Excellent English, easy, and very knowledgeable. Overall this day trip was very well coordinated! Highly-rated and reccomended!

We had a fantastic time with Machu Picchu Tours. Our guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They made us feel special and they went above and beyond to please us. Cannot recommend enough!

The trip to Machu Picchu was one of a lifetime experience amazing Place well worth the visit. It is a long day, but every enjoyable. The tour guide was one of the best and really knew his stuff. Wonderful experience overal.

Amazing Day in Manchu Pichu! We had a very nice time. the tour was well organised nad the tur tour guide was the best! He gave us great insights and helped position us for the top photo spots. Also the breakfast and lunch was quite good. We can totally recommend this tour organisation.

This was an absolutely amazing tour. Machu Picchu was breathtaking. We were picked up promptly, and every step of the process was explained to us clearly. Our tour guide incredible! He made our visit to Machu Pichu extra special and we learned so much from him. "Machu Picchu Tours" did everything for us . Very professional, organized and friendly. Will recommend 100%

An amazing experience. We booked with Machu Picchu Tours, who gave us an unforgettable trip. everything was handled perfectly without any problems, our guide was also excellent. The hike itself is tough but worth it. The views are spectacular. The views you get are once in a lifetime and you don't get them just by visiting Machu Picchu.

The most beautiful hike of my life! My family and I did the 4 day Inca trail with Machu Picchu Tours in Oct 2023. They were very organized and reliable. I didn’t feel a need to use any other travel service while in Cusco as they had everything I needed!!

In November 2023 I did the Salkantay trek 5D/4N. I had an amazing time! The day before we started we got a briefing with our guide and got all the important information.
Our guide Sergio made the group like a family and caused a unforgettable experience of the trek. He knows a lot about the surrounding and wants to tell everything.
The food during the trek was amazing!
I can really recommend this organization and trek!

We had the most amazing time doing Salkantay trek for 5 days. We were the only people in our group who had tickets to Machu Picchu, so if you don’t want to skip the last day of the hike rushing to Aguas Calientes, buy your Machu Picchu tickets at least one month in advance!
We got very lucky with our guide Steven Tyler, who made sure we all had a great time. He is knowledgeable, fun and caring. The other guide Carlos was also very nice, he hiked with us on the last day and gave us a tour inside Machu Picchu.
The trek was not as difficult as we thought it would be. But it’s tiring indeed. No one from our group got altitude sickness but someone from other group did. The views were breathtaking and we had a lot of nice activities and stops.
Some things to know:
- Make sure you bring enough cash as you’ll have quite some expenses over 5 days
- the website mentions pillows but they were not provided, so bring your own if you can
- the sleeping bags were quite old and had feathers sticking out from them. I don’t think they were ever washed, so bring your own if you’re a clean freak
- you might need to share the huts/tents and the dorm on the last day with people of different gender
- drinking water is not provided and it’s quite expensive to buy it on the way. I recommend investing into a water bottle with a filter

Probably the highlight of our Peru trip! Besides the beautiful views, hikes and amazing food, we were lucky enough to be put in the group of our tour guide Abel. For sure take Machu Picchu Reservations as your Salkantay agency, and you would do yourself a favour to find out when Abel is starting a new trip as he made our journey unforgettable. 5 days in 'challenging' conditions were made easy due to the people in our group and especially our tour guide. As a local, Abel was very knowledgeable on Inca traditions, fauna and flora, and cultural history which gave this tour an extra dimension. If you are up for great stories and a cheeky laugh, this is what you want!!!

We did the 5-day Salkantay trek, and it was an amazing experience. Our guide, Zucemo, possessed extensive knowledge about the region, Inca history, and medicinal plants. I must emphasize that he was one of the most professional guides I've ever encountered. He went above and beyond to ensure that each of us had a fantastic time and secured tickets for Machu Picchu. I'd also like to express my gratitude to the chefs and horsemen who put in a tremendous amount of effort.

Worst company ever to do a tour through do not use Mario they are liars and thieves. Mario looked at our documents the day before and did not even help us verify that the government canceled our reservation. Instead, he pocket our money and took off. I would not recommend anyone using this company at all especially not Mario. There are a bunch of lying thieves, no customer service. If I can give zero stars to this, I would.

Fizemos tour privado Vale Sagrado e excelente experiência.
Também contratamos tour coletivo à montanha colorida e tudo ótimo

I recommend this guide, Nilo. He is an indigenous Inca, very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Machu Picchu, and he'll make sure to capture some amazing photos and short videos for you! 😄

I took a package with my husband for three tours with the Machu Picchu Peru Tours agency to visit the Sacred Valley, Humantay Lake and the Rainbow Mountain. Unfortunately, the experience of arriving at these beautiful places was very poor and I am going to explain in detail why.
ORGANIZATION
On the tour to the Sacred Valley, they took a while to find us because they couldn't find our apartment and then they told us that they were not using the GPS, which would have left them right at the entrance of our apartment. In each stop of the trip, we always took longer than necessary because the guide did not establish a minimum time per stop, we had to tell him to please hurry up the people that were delaying the trip. Anyway, at the last stop the guide suggests we take another bus from the agency that arrived later and left the place first.
For Lake Humantay, the tour guide told us to walk one block to meet him. After finding him, we walked for more than 10 minutes, and he left us waiting at dawn (like 4:00am) in a place where some drunk people came out. We felt unsafe, something that no tourist wants when traveling to an unknown country.
Finally, those trips that included breakfast and lunch did include the drinks but at lunch you had to pay for it. The company wrote to us that it included the food but not the drinks. Another important missed detail.
TRANSPORTATION
When a tourist goes on a tour, I dare to say that 80% of the time is spent on the bus. Therefore, the comfort of the trip is very important. For the entire trip the driver had the windows down and the air conditioning off. The buses only have two moving windows at the front, the other windows are sealed.
Not using the a/c in the mornings didn't affect much because the weather was cold. But after noon the bus was a sauna and with approximately 15 passengers it was abusive not to turn on the a/c for us tourists. We told the driver, the tour guide and the agency and they never acted. This happened on all three tours that we took.
The air ducts were full of dust. With the windows down and the air not circulating, we were swallowing dirt ALL the way. We were coughing, sneezing and when we got to the room our nose and throat were sore. We wrote to the agency and the response was that this is normal in Cusco. However, they never took action to roll up the windows, turn on the a/c, and recirculate the cabin’s air.
I hope the agency will act and fix or readjust this problem. If not, my tourist friend who reads me, look for another agency and ensure all these details.

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! Extremely overpriced. We booked online as recommended and once arrived in Cusco realized that all other tour companies charge less than half for the exact same tour. On top of that we were told everything was included (very small list of exclusions) but ended up having to purchase many items. Highly recommend not using this company

Our best experience in Peru was the private tour in Machu Picchu booked by this company. We had a great time and our guide was highly professional (10 years experience+).
He got us a lot of information nd made perfect shots with our phones. We won't forget this experience for a long time. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience great team and leadership of the tour, we did Machupichu Inca Trail of 4 days, great adventure with very good food on the road, I admired the way of they developed our schedule and manage the unforeseen events, the crew and the tourists were outstanding persons. Thank you.

I had done the trip with machu pichu Terra in July and overall it was fine. I suppose I had a different experience as English speaker. Tickets were delivered to the hotel but very late and without knowing much about the transfers you can be lost with so many. I had the pick up in the morning however I got an updated timing. They keep in touch with you over the phone so your phone must be working in that part of the world. I was the only e English speaker in the group... A bit difficult as almost nobody spoke English to guide you, just had to follow the group. Return the same but I had befriended some people in the group who could speak a little and translate especially that the train on return didn't get us to the point of departure and we had to transfer to a coach. All tickets bought from them were in order. Best part of the tour was the guide who was fantastic. I would give him 5*. Despite being the only one in the group speaking English he made the effort and translated simultaneously everything. Just fantastic. On return in cusco, they dropped me at the hotel. If they would improve communication would definitely raise the quality of the trip.

Buen servicio al cliente

It's a quite good agency. The price is fair and the your guide is good!
