What a gem in Queens! I took a 6-week Saturday Intro to Pottery Wheel with Tina. Tina is a great teacher! I have taken 2 other Intro to Pottery courses (5 weeks each) but her teaching style was attentive and very supportive. She will check in on you 1-on-1 and see if you have any specific questions for her. I made pieces I did not think I would be making in my first few months learning.

Additionally, the studio is very spacious in comparison to others I have learned it. It was helpful that the pottery wheels face towards the middle of the room so Tina could also walk by and offer help or advice. It was also easy to watch demonstrations when Tina was teaching.

I can't wait to come back for another class or for exhibitions in their gallery!

Great spot to take a class and learn a new skill set. It’s hard to get into classes, they sell our quick. You have to be on top of it to get in. I would recommend coming here for a class for sure.

I had completed three rounds of classes already. Very proud of my progress from a beginner beginner to a relatively comfortable potter. Will come back for another round of hand making classes for certain.

would highly recommend taking the classes here. reasonably priced and comes with 18 extra hours of studio time. both Tina and Stella are great instructors - I will say, Tina will definitely push you more to try spinning with more clay and larger pieces if you need that motivation. the classes are super small (I think 8 seats per class) so you really get some great one on one time with your instructor. they sell out fast, usually within an hour, so sign up for alerts on their website.

My boyfriend and I took the intro to wheel class and it was so rewarding and fun! Tina was an amazing instructor. I've done a pottery class before and I remember it being super difficult and frustrating, but somehow the way Tina taught really clicked with me and I felt like I really got the hang of it. I'm so excited to see my pieces once they're fired! Highly recommend this class if you're considering it.

Amazing art studio! I took the beginners pottery class and oil painting class and loved both. Small class sizes to allow a lot of one on one interaction with instructors. Plus the classes come with free studio time. The owner is lovely and always there to help. The studio has long hours too which is great for people with a hectic work schedule. Will definitely be signing up for more classes or studio time.
