Great range of sun hats and gifts. lovely earrings too.
I would give no stars if I could. The staff were not helpful and uninterested . It seemed like they didn't want to be at work. The store was a mess and they were low on a lot of products I wanted. I now go to chemist warehouse for all my health needs

Great pharmacy, excellent range of products, free prescriptions, i love earrings and the customer service from the pharmacy and the girls at the front counter, they are helpful, kind and informative, a great shopping experience has made this one of my favourite stores
Item I was after was only available in New Plymouth store to click and collect however I am from South Island and I was looking at sending the item to an Auckland address. The retail manager was very nice to help me order it and ship it instead of doing click and collect. Even checked if I received the item after sending it. Thank you so much, Brogan!!
Location is not key here... if u actually manage to get into the driveway or carpark ur doing well. The deals aren't too bad. Unfriendly staff tho, they look bored and vacant stares...
Went to buy a roll-on today and the price in the shelf was $2.69 and paid $4.65 at the counter.When I raised it with the salesperson the supervisor said that they can give me a refund but not the product at that price.They said it was the
old price.I got called an idiot by the shop manager.Very poor service.Not professional at all.Not going there anytime soon.

Always a bit of a wait
Unfriendly staff, watched me like I was going to steal something. This was my 2nd time in there, won’t return. Left without buying anything as felt so uncomfortable.
Incorrectly ticketed/priced items, original price wasn’t honoured nor did they apologise or offer any customer service worthy of alleviating or easing the situation. Staff were all oblivious to customers and sat slumped behind the till bent over gossiping, not a single smile was seen. Do better.

The pharmacists at the back are so good! Efficient & accurate. I wandered up & told them I had swimmer's ear. Bloke nodded, pointed & and said, "Try Dry Ears, aisle 9 on the left. Should fix you right up." Folks, that stuff is *magic*. My ear had been blocked for 3 days. ONE squirt & it drained. I could hear. The discomfort vanished. Pharmacists of Chemists Warehouse at the Valley (New Plymouth), I salute you!
I have been the store many times, the reason made me to go back is their super professional pharmacist, they are very helpful, I really appreciate that.

Huge store, lots of selections. Every time I've been in the shelves are full and neatly stocked, and the aisles are clear.

Always great service and always have unbeatable prices with an exceptional range of good quality and branded products. And of course nothing beats free prescriptions. However I did find free prescriptions are from doctors only. If you get a script from a specialist then you have to pay - just the $5 per script I recall.

We've been to Chemist Warehouse New Plymouth today to shop for perfumes for Christmas gifts but ended up going home because apparently the security guard on duty stopped us from using their testing pad and tester and we're told we're not allowed coz we're not buying it. I'm very displeased of her action.
Despite of the unpleasant experienced we had we still bought what's already in our basket. It was an awesome day for us but that security changed the day.

Great service
Online ordering is beyond slow, I do not recommend. It took over 3 weeks to recieve my order. You can't blame NZ Couriers/post because what took the longest, was the processing in store and collecting my items.Terrible! Online orders from Australia would probably be dispatched and delivered faster than these guys.
Great pharmacy that is NZ owned, centrally located & offers free prescriptions for certain medications & has very competitive prices on other products. The only gripe I have is the poor customer service at the dispensary - the male staff members come across as quite rude & abrupt at times, & are argumentative with each other. This is definitely not a good look, as their bickering can be heard all around the store! It'd be great to see improvements in this area asap.
Listed as a community collection site for RAT tests but it's hit and miss whether there's the correct staff rostered to give them to you so you may be sent away without them. Health point site states you are able to collect them for yourself when you receive your order number text but staff will only give them to someone collecting on your behalf, very confusing.
Absolutely amazing service from the staff. The pharmacists in the dispensary are very helpful and kind. The fragrances guy (Abe) was very friendly and obliging, and helped me pick two amazing perfumes for my wife and I! Best salesperson of the year! Definitely coming back again for all my essential shopping!!

I have always had great service. I couldn't get into town on labour day so did a phone order they were very helpful and the best thing was I still got my labour weekend special of 15% 🤗
Just stopped shopping with these guys. Sale Item we wanted with a regular pickup was 'out of stock' so ordered it online. THREE WEEKS later we get a cancellation email for the sale item, along with a BS stock shortage explanation. No evidence they ever had it in or sold it for the sale price, the day we received this email they were still selling it online but double the price and were showing stock.
Can't be doing with dodgy companies like this.

I live across the road from another Pharmacy but travel to Devon West because of the great staff and the speed of delivery -- it is like watching the tires being changed in a F1 pitstop -- love their efficiency.

Very Unprofessional. Asked to have my Passport photos taken the lady's were being very rude I didn't feel good after hearing "you do it" "paper scissors rock" or "I did the photos last week" I was very uncomfortable in the photography room the lady taking the photos pretty much looked like she was having a tantrum, Did not have this issue last time.
Staff are really nice, had mostly medical items, fair price to other chemists,has alot of items too for older people like walkers, venterlaters,etc. I get all my medications here. Staff are polite and supportive and good-looking too, but includes woman only, not male owner lol
This has been my pharmacy for 10 years. They are awesome! But they don't offer blood pressure checks.

Today went for shopping , the lady from Estee Lauder counter was extremely strange , other customer's kid dropped an icecream cone on floor and left . she asked me if I can clean the icecream dropped on floor , because it was melted & yucky. She seems didn't want to touch it. I was purchasing & shocked by her request . Never had such awful feelings in a retailer shop like this way .

This is a nice place to get your medicine while you're ready to getl your shampoo .Do not misses need to have for yourself or your family The staff nice and helpful and nice place shop to go in to get the thing you need for your family, grandchildren great grandchildren grandparents aunt's and uncles.
