Really helpful, I needed some rope and Howard was more than happy to help. The cafe at the back of the shop is also excellent! Highly recommended!

STEPHEN AMATO works here. Great shop. The owner seems very helpful but shame about Stephen Amato who works there. Like many of his victims he ruined my engine but only after taking the money. Absolutely awful man.

Good range of boating equipment. Very helpful and engaging staff, they’re keen to help and provide useful support including ordering additional stock for later pick up.

Great shop and super friendly staff. I went in today just after 9.00am (for a few odd bits) and couldn’t be happier with the service.

Excellent service from Howard and The Boat Shop again. Called to ask about varnish, he put it aside for me for a few days. Upon collection Howard gave me all sort of tips and tricks about my various other boat chores. See you again soon!

Really really friendly chandlers. Welcoming and not like all the horrible other marinas . Really nice guy. Definitely recommend and very helpful and offered free help and advice just told me to fetch engine down and he would take propper look. Seriously though couldn't get friendlier and the total opposite to patronising or arrogant a total breath of fresh air from experiences with other chandlers 5 stars plus!

A sign on the door said the shop was open but the door was locked. We went around the back and were grumpily greeted by an elderly man sitting outside smoking a cigarette. He was unpleasant and uninterested. He asked us "what are you after"? We said we wanted to have a browsing around as we were looking to buy some bits and pieces for our boat. He said rudely "no you can't come in. You've to know what you want" while puffing on his cigarette. Not very nice.

Then, small businesses complain they're not doing well in the current climate. The ones opening the doors to customers and treating them respectfully are flourishing!

Boat parts
After searching high and low up and down the River pulling my hair out for a part for my boat the boat shop saved the day.
Great location and well stocked little shop.
Now even thinking of maybe moving my boat to Teddington on the Boat shops adyllic moorings and lovely town and restaurants .
