This popular traditional market is located in Kuwait City, between Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Abdullah Al-Salem & Palestine Streets. This market has been around for at least 200 years. The market was damaged in 1990; however, it was renovated and it got back its traditional flavor. You can spend hours in this market strolling around and discovering reasonable bargains on heritage goods such as Persian silk carpets, real Arab antiques, perfumes like musk and oud, and traditional costumes. This place is perfect whether you want to shop, eat, or for sightseeing

Souk Al Mubarakiya is a ~300 year old market in central Kuwait city. It's actually several markets that merged into one. The fish market, the vegetable market, gold market, and the perfume market are the most famous markets in Al Mubarakiya. It's also the host for the first school in Kuwait, the Mubarakiya School, opened in 1911, and the Mubarak Kiosk. The market, school, and kiosk were named after the founder of modern Kuwait and the 7th Emir of Kuwait Mubarak Al Sabah.
This market is one of the oldest markets in kuwait. It gets crowded mostly in winter. You can find a lot of stores that sells traditional things. Like gold stores, restaurants, cafes, fish market, meat markets, vegetable stores, and a lot of other stores. You can find almost everything here or around this place. The store owners are kind and respectful. The other nice thing about this market is the atmosphere. You can come shopping with your family and friends, and while shopping there are plenty of places for the kids to get entertained. You also can find stores that sells wholesale products but you should look for them. It was an amazing experience we’ve enjoyed it.

Busy in evening.. get all your needs.. with bargain price
Definitely come here during the night than daytime. It has more lights and crowds and it looks much prettier. It will take you quite a while to walk through the busy markets and streets but definitely worth it. Traffic is bad so park somewhere close by and walk or take a taxi or public transit.

many things are sold if u can speak hindi and arabic you'll like it but no white shoes.

Before 6 month mubarakiya suffer with some distribution but now every thing is beautiful I visit my Times in mubarakiya,my experience was always good, what ever I want,i found there,theere are many restaurants of different different cuisine, different different clothes indian, Arabic, European, fruit,dry fruits, fairness items, makeup 💄 items,perfumes ,sea food's ,sports items Etc.

One of Kuwait's traditional markets and the most popular. This market saves you the hassle of making several trips to the market to buy all your household, clothing and grocery needs. In this market you can buy household goods, groceries, meat, poletary and seafood, clothing, textiles, perfumes etc. It's a popular tourist attraction and destination. Once done shopping, you may have a delicious traditional Kuwaiti or Iranian meal. Prices are very affordable and there are many exchange shops and ATM machines. There are also several shops that sell Kuwaiti traditional sweets and bakery items. It's a true one stop market. Really enjoyed my trip to Mubarakiya Market.
I love it. I was there as a kid in the 70's and 80's. Then I left Kuwait in 1990, and here I am visiting in 2022, huge place, lots of perfumes shops, lots of places to eat, good markets, clothes markets, many more.. a portion of it was burnt down about a month ago. Must visit when you come to kuwait.

Cool place with plenty of restaurants, stores, and a great vibe. The hawkers are also not aggressive, so it is not taxing to walk around.
