Great market. I've been going here since I were a child. The butchers are excellent, the veg stalls are great quality and there are many specialist stalls like the Thai food stall, gold stall, clothes repairs etc .
A good selection of food stalls and goods being sold. Everything we bought was ok, but I wouldn't be rushing back. It we lived in Cardiff we would be here all the time for the fresh fish, meat and veg. Unfortunately we were shopping for a the days so we're unable to purchase any fresh produce.
The market is closed on Sundays. We went on a Monday morning. The place has a historical charm but it's quite desolate. Mamy stalls are not active and others are selling all sorts of unexpected things.
Smaller than I expected but still it’s a cute place. Would go again w friends for sure!
Beautiful market with great shops, food and drink. Must visit places in Cardiff when visiting. Just keep in mind that it's only open on Saturdays
This wonderful little market on a Saturday morning is a must. It's always bustling and everyone is enjoying the atmosphere.
We regularly shop for bread, fruit and vegetables and eggs. Then dive into the Wardrobe cafe for coffee and cake, it's quirky and warm and wonderful.

Little market of vibrant ambiance . It’s the perfect place to buy organic produce of Pontacanna veg, munch on sourdough Pizza or grab a cuppa and enjoy the busker’s music!
A lovely market on the weekend. There's a decent selection of vendors that attend, but do be aware that you should get there early. Whatever time the market is theoretically open until isn't relevant. Everybody sells out by about lunchtime. Come early and enjoy!
Lovely homemade cake in a cute coffee shop , great Pizza and fab live music
Good variety of unusual food plus most of the normal street vendors. Also people selling farm produce and some selling craft items. I visited in January, maybe it's bigger later in the year. I"d day there were about 15 vendors. There are no toilet facilities but it is close to a number of venues that may oblige.
We're so lucky to have such a range of local produce on our doorstep. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it can often be inconsistent if you're using it to do a weekly shop. The stalls change often so you don't know who or what you're going to get. They also used to have a fish stall which was amazing but there isn't one anymore!

Very cozy market place in Cardiff City center area. Lot of globle eateries.. Italian, Indian, Greek etc. Fresh fruits & vegetables, fish, meat etc is also available. Needles, threads, ribbons stores(2). There are 2/3 good bakeries and a pizza place situated at this market. The pizza is very delicious and very fresh.

Great little market with different food suppliers. Tried a little cheese pie from the Greek chef, we had coffee and my son had a Chinese noodle dish. Very lucky that we found parking along the street.
Wow this is a great little market on the banks of the taff , loads of great local produce.

Great market along river. I was there yesterday, it was lovely sunny day. Different homemade products on sale only Sunday 9 am to 2 pm. I really recommend the riverside market for everyone.
Lovely fresh food and produce. Some tasty onion bahjis, Welsh cakes and coffee were thoroughly enjoyed.
We bought fresh duck eggs, sour dough loaf and a very tasty lunch or samosa and onion bahjee

Historic original , best time to visit is early in the morning before shops open if you like photos without people.
Fabulous atmosphere, great produce, street food . Sometimes there are informal events, singing cooking demonstration etc. Always something exciting and delicious.
