Много людей, фаст фуд.
Great place in the center
We went here today, there was no market, asked at the museum - they said the market exists no longer…
It is a popular and diverse market near to the centrum , but approximately expensive
It's a shame it's no longer there

Leuk museum. Het meeste wat me aansprak was het Amsterdam Museum maar dat heeft ook meer met mijn achtergrond te maken.

Really nice small market with products from France, Portugal, Italy and local farmers vegetables. The garden where the market is held is beautiful. Today there was a wine festival.
Small shopping center with a variety of shops. There is a market on wednesdays that has everything from fresh vegetables at reasonable prices to fresh fish, meat, tasty snacks & food.
Descolado, mas bem caro.

Good variety of stores and places to eat. At night there are likely to be people who ask you for money, so take note of that.
Nice small market, spread of different foods
Market only Wednesday fruit vegetables and fish and treat yourself with Vietnamese lumpia

This company was almost twice the price of any others and almost three times the price of the lowest. I passed, naturally.
Нам сподобалась атмосфера цього закладу з різними кухнями. Особливо був до смаку норвезький оселедець, голландські біттерболени та китайські баоцзи.
A nice neighborhood street for local shopping.
You have all the day by day necessary shops.
Also has a big street market during the day on Wednesday, where you can find fresh meat, eggs, fish and fruits and veggies.
What I like is that you have , specialised butcher ( pouw) very good quality , the bakery next to it , also very good ( for dutch standards) Specialised cheese shop ( good offers 6 euros half kilo of good quality old dutch cheese) , specialised chicken shop ( not as good as the previous one but good enough) supermarket + hairdresser + general cleaning shop e.t.c , so everything you need is in one place , live a but further away at bijlmer port , but I shop at reigersbos every Saturday

Cozy place with fireplaces and Christmas fair placed in Hermitage inner yard that safes you from cold wind ( if it's a nasty weather outside )
First thing we noticed for the fair was the line to buy oysters:)
I would also recommend to visit Hermitage itself if you did not manage to do it before

This is the most fun local market we visited in Amsterdam. It only opens on Monday, and there are a lot of good deals.
Looks very nice, great selection of food stalls.

What a beautiful sight to see as night falls! Such a vibrant and exciting part of the city. Highly recommended for a visit, be it to the market during the day or to a café or two in the evening.
A nice marketplace with several markets per day. But always the fish stall and the biological market with cheese, vegatables and fruit. And a lot of people because of the surrounding terraces.

Fermentfabriek is here. Kimchi, water kefir, fermented foods
If ever I'm free on a Monday I pass by here to find affordable goodies. Clothes, shoes, presents, there's something for everybody. Also antiques and unique vintage products. Closes early though, come in the morning!

Definitely something different than the rest of Amsterdam. We went there “just to check it out” (didn’t google much prior to visit). What was the most entertaining was actually the food market. I love this concept! You’ll find a lot of “restaurants” (basically food stands) offering different kinds of meals from all over the world. The reason I’m rating this only 3* is because it will take forever for you to find a place to sit. There’s a huge “common area” with chairs and tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal, but it’s a mission to get to sit. It took us at least 20ish min browsing around and waiting for someone to get up so we could sit. And it’s a real struggle because you are not the only one “hunting”.
As for the food, I had this local deep fried cheese balls, that was very nice. The other pick were ribs from Rough Kitchen which I really didn’t like. That was a bit disappointing. But than, the stand with these little round sweets made my day. I forgot the name of the place, but I’ll post a pic. You can’t pass by without noticing it.

Some times you can find nice stuff here
It was a good experience. Lots of clothes and cheap fabrics being sold her (starts from 3 euros per meter). Fresh food and fruits is also available.
There is a bleu zone parking for 1 hour and 30 min.and there is a free parking lot 3 or 4 stories high behind the supermarket(previvous Boni) VomarThere is e everything here.
