Super awesome place we went to right before Halloween. We are at the eatery that had a good amount of options and a full bar. We had the pulled pork Mac and cheese.
Whata great local market. They are always doing things for the community (we love the halloween pumpkins 🎃) and they offer great produce and a friendly atmosphere.

Great collection of shops and restaurants, a little something for everyone. Quite a few interesting boutiques and definitely check out provisions, all kinds of kitchen accessories and food and wine.

Great produce spot, with local foods like cheese curds that were Amazing! Try the falafel truck in the parking lot! Best ever!!

Honestly a cool place to check out, and everyone there was so friendly. It was refreshing to see so much hand made food and local grown produce. The art and people working booths were also very nice and the prices were very reasonable. Worth checking out!
Pretty cool spot for a couple of hours stroll or grab something to eat and drink. Made in Oregon store I'd a plus to get some local souvenirs to bring home. 3 hours free parking.
The market has declined in the past few years. The food court is not nearly as nice as it used to be and the food that I have tried has not been very good. They have fewer shops. There are several nice ones, but it needs improvement.
Mindy's is good, Elephant Trunk is always great as is Provisions, and Rhythm and Bloom and several others.
Marche has good food and a nice brunch on weekends. Although their menu has fewer offerings.

Besides lack of parking, it is not a big enough parking lot for those people who don't know how to park straight! This makes it hard for everyone else to fit in the small spaces! We parked next to a car that was parked cockeyed, which made us crooked, and that creates an opportunity for a car scratched door, etc.
The shops are pricey and not that great, in my opinion. I think finding other parking and sticking to the main streets for shopping or eating is a better option.

We were in town only for the day and we were so excited we got the chance to experience this market! Amazing vendors, food, music, and an incredible community vibe all day. Definitely plan to enjoy this when you’re in Eugene!

Beautiful at night. The ambiance of white lights, pretty flowers and plants are throughout the market. Just an all around nice place to sit outside with a glass of wine and take in what Eugene has to offer. A truly unique atmosphere.

Tons of fun! Lots of local goods and crafts, and good food trucks to boot. We took the bus, which was a great idea as traffic and parking looked like a nightmare. Would recommend if you're visiting Eugene.

The staff behind the counter was very rude and acted as though they couldn’t be bothered. I ordered a sandwich and asked for turkey to be added. The girl argued that it was a different sandwich on the menu. The situation got increasingly uncomfortable. She then looked at the menu, where she couldn’t find the sandwich she had said was there. She then blew me off and the rest of the transaction was just painful. The worst was when my food came though, and instead of the turkey being on the sandwich, they’d put it in the salad. I was very clear in what I asked for. Just a bad experience overall.

Excellent croissants, pan au chocolate and kougn aman. Frequent long lines, at least on weekends.
Gypsy Rose live music was incredible [please put tips in musician boxes if you like the music!], organic food from Makeda's Ethiopian restaurant was a steal, wonderful vendors and displays, dancing, spontaneous hulahoop party broke out, guitarists playing on the grass, and everyone ignoring the inevitable rain. What a great market!
Went to dinner here recently on a date night. Lovely place, have been here a handful of times. Each time the food has been incredible! Highly recommend! Great drinks as well!
I bought a few items - they seemed expensive but they were a gift so I sprung for it. Then I found THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT NEXT DOOR FOR ALOMST $4 LESS. So I went to the cashier and asked if I could return the items - they said only for store credit and when I told them how much cheaper the items were next door she just said it was “strange” and she was sorry. The items next door were not on sale. So I guess at Provisions you pay a bouge tax. Also shocking that a grocery doest allow returns - especially when you catch them out on their price gouging. Not a good look.

Yep. 5th Street Public Market, or whatever they call it these daze. Who shops here? I am. Who even eats here? It's a mystery. Yeah, they have shops here. A person could spend easily 27,000 dimes here and not sneeze a single kroner. I guess it's nice. Maybe I will come back to the meat store. The baked goods store looks fine. (We are in Eugene.). Anyway, one for two or two for three but none for free. La lala, la lala. Doot doot doo Dee Dee do. Not such a good parking lot. Oh, yeah, bring your money. Lots of money. Bye. Did get a dog from One Bad Dawg. Genuine fellow. Selling Nathan's. I ordered a Mini All-The-Way. Mimi is a normal sized Home Hot Dog. Heh. Served on a slice of bread. Maybe sourdough. Big enough for my Frank and all the toppings. A genial and enable fellow. Made me a North Carolina Dog. I was happy and well satisfied.
Man, when it's 34° and drizzling Eugene is freaking cold. I was walking home from Safeway. The human being with a wheelchair was here. Camped in the same place they were the other day. This time with pizza boxes outside the door. I was down the alley from Whitebird and saw people walking away from there with pizzas. Hilyard Street Market is there. Been THERE for a long time. Half their product is not priced. I am too old for that $#@+. The beer/wine/alcohol store is very much for the college kids, not for me.
Gorgeous store! (See my photos) Great gift items, or treat yourself. Emphasis on kitchen items, small, high-end trinkets, flowers and nice wine selection (with knowledgeable wine staff). I bought a few gifts & 3 diff. cheeses, bottle of local, Willamette Valley pinot noir & olives. (We parked easily in their lot.)
It's usually kinda crowded here, wish they'd move a few things around to make more space. But you can't beat the location. Usually pretty busy, but also has a wide variety of things available. Between booze and smokes, household staples and perfect snackies.
I make vegetables most of my diet, and this is Possibly the best produce in town. And it’s the same price as the mediocre megafarm organic stuff at Safeway or Whole Foods, while fresher and better tasting from local farmers who know what they are doing.
If you catch the older woman (Penny?) she not only knows which farm different vegetables came from, but the farmers’ names and often knows their background and farming practices.
They have all kinds of flours and grains, local free range meAts (frozen), fermented foods, and stock Nancy’s dairy products as well.
It’s about as feel-good as not growing it yourself can get. Like having the farmer’s market five days a week. Eugene is so lucky to have this place.
I’m bad with names but the other younger person who staffs this place is awesome, too.

Construction is happening! All the roads around the blocks here at Saturday Market are blocked off, have been, and it sucks! I think the roads are be repaved. 8th avenue was pretty bad, I guess. Also, the deck in front of the courthouse has been completely blocked from anyone attempting to get out of the heat and do their beloved Saturday Market socializing ritual. Also, horrible! 😞 I miss seeing my friends and enjoying the drum circle without getting pushed by sales tables or run over by shoppers!! 😭 Also, it seems that sales tables are allowed to use park benches for their wares and/or storage/personal use, literally NO WHERE TO SIT BUT DOG GRASS. Finally, NO DOGS ALLOWED! This is a recent development and in speaking to a local resident, very unpopular, confusing, and upsetting. I wondered if it was for safety due to the construction, but as far as the resident that I spoke to, this is a permanent decision that's made a significant group of people very frustrated. Expensive.

The employee West was great, took time to make an previous issue with an ex employee right! He took time to listen and made it right with the help of the owner. Totally recommend this place. Best corner store in Eugene 😊

The morning gal with the short dark hair is always so kind that I go out of my way to make this my store anytime I need something in the morning, which is almost daily! I hope the owner realizes what a stellar employee and asset to his business that she is! Kind, 5 star service from her Everytime!
Been a minute since I had been at the market. Still a fun market to go to and walk about. Lots of road constriction happening around the market this year The Farmers market has a new pavilion, thats real cool Once the road construction is over it will be back to normal
You’d think they’d be more professional if they’re selling to minors. don’t buy anything here, only good for college students who need alcohol and cigarettes. but not puff bars, none of them ever work and they WONT refund you or give you a new one if it doesn’t work.
They just did a HUGE overhaul to the place, adding several new fridge cooler units. Adding more drink options. The wine and beer selection is great along with every energy drink you could ask for!!! Good mix of pantry goods, household products and munchis.

This place is wonderful. All local and organic. Reasonable pricing compared to other local natural food stores. Farm fresh and sweet.
This is a great place to poke around if you need something did related for a gift, or just something interesting to play with for yourself. Today, I saw smoked honey from a local Portland company. I may have to try that out. The breads in the coffee shop are quite nice. A quite place to relax on a hot afternoon.
The market is locally owned and gets all from a local farm or local people. It's been loved and cared for there veggies. Very friendly and Courtesy is Phenomenal.
