Buen sitio para comprar. Tiene de todo y buenos precios y calidad. Si vas los jueves ó sábados coincide con el mercadillo y se puede comprar de todo. Líneas de bus 3 y 4 en la puerta. Accesible a sillas de ruedas y demás
Muy buenas ofertas, los vendedores muy amables, el ambiente es de fiesta.
Podes encontrar un poco de todo ropa frutas y verduras, relación calidad precio muy bien..
La Verdad tiene un agran variedad de artículos y a buen precio y el personal de los distintos puestos son demasiado amables y muy atentos
Aunque un poco desangelado, es necesario apoyar este tipo de mercados, además los precios son mucho más económicos que en las cadenas de supermercados.

En General bien pero en pollería Manell el servicio mal,£ la Pollera discutiendo con el repartidor que casi se le saludan los ojos mientras golpeaba y paseaba la carne con rabia además de poca limpieza.
A big city central market with great produce, greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers and very busy with locals and tourists. Seems that every Spanish city has one like this and they are brilliant. Just wish I could buy more and cook it locally. Accessible with lifts and ramps.
A lovely place to visit in Alicante. Now with trendy little bars for drinks and food. I concur with the positive comments about the architecture. I love the little Hermes sculpture / statue at the rear door which I've put another photograph up of. The Meat and especially Fish sections are not for the faint-hearted. Wonderful for fresh vegetables
The food there is so good and such great quality!! We bought dates, wine, ham etc. and the people were really friendly. We were able to try most of the things we wanted to buy.
Hago la comida de tosa la semana allí, producto fresco de calidad en frutas y verduras, carnes y companaje de calidad. Puestos de toda la vida y confianza.

On of Alicantes jewels. Enjoyed market, lunch with freshly prepared fish, beer and cava. Another spot here for enjoying drinks and tapas Bar central. We added also strawberries from the near fruit stand. This was Michelin experience in my taste.😃

Pequeño pero muy bonito mercado del barrio de Benalua, tiene un comercio muy especializado en productos de calidad. Destacando para mí gusto las carnes, pescados y mariscos, frutas y verduras. El trato es muy profesional y amable, muy recomendable.

Lower/ basement level is for fruits and vegetables, and seafood..meaning a lot of meat products (unfortunately).
Prices were varying for oranges ex . between 1-2 €/ kg. I had a better experience of freshness and prices in the city's largest open air/flee market (Mercadillo de Teulada).

Not as big as Mercado central. But very cosy and good supply of fish, fruit, meat and cheese. On Saturdays the sorrunding streets flourish into a flea marked.

You must visit Mercado in every single country. You can taste all the country has to offer in one small area. The best food, the best wine, the best sweets. It is a must when visiting every city in Spain.
Excelente calidad en su marisco. Gran variedad y todo expectacular.
Не мога да разбера хората. Цените на пазара за плодове и зеленчуци са безумно скъпи, а хората чакат четвъртък и събота, и се втурват като не видели да пълнят количките. Тази плодове и зеленчуци нали са купувани от едно и също място от търговците и са седяли по хладилниците на складовете. Все пак е зима и нито един плод и зеленчук не е откъснат от корена вчера. Нищо не е пресно. Навика е страшно нещо. При положение, че в Лидл и Алди можеш да си купят хубави банани по 1.09€/кг си купуват същите от пазара и Маркадона/един преди обикновенно много посещаван магазин, но вече не заради постоянно сменяните по скъпи цени/на 1.45-1.50€. Е , 0.30-0.40€ е нищо, но ако си купят 10 различни продукта вече са се разделили с по 3-4 € .Мнението ми е само за хранителните продукти, но не и за дрехите. А реновираното малко Меркадо Каролинас е е супер хит. Килограм кайма е 8.00€.В този квартал като, че ли живеят само богаташи. Луди хора и тези които продават, и тези които купуват.
Con la calle San Mateo y el Mercado recién renovados da gusto volver a comprar en tu mercadillo de toda la vida, resulta ideal para la fruta y verduras, pescado fresco, carnes y embutidos, nada que ver con los productos de cámara de los supermercados. El mercadillo de la ropa también es interesante, pero ojo, mantén bien vigilado tu bolso o carro de la compra...
Productos de cercanía y de gran calidad. Puedes hacer tus compras de fiambre, embutidos, quesos, carnicería, verdureria y pescaderia a un buen precio.

Los mejores carniceros, fruteros, pescatero, ultramarinos y embutidos de la zona. Trato familiar y destacan por su calidad de producto. Además te preparan todo con mucho cariño tanto en el envasado como servicio a domicilio.

Este mercadillo está situado como muy bien indica su nombre en el barrio de Carolinas, es un mercadillo que no es muy grande pero tiene de todo, frutas y verduras, calzado, ropa, cuadros, bolsos, herbolario y algo que se me escapa. En estos momentos la zona de frutas y verduras, flores, huevos, herbolario, bollería esta situada en la calle Gasset y Artime por la reforma del mercado de Carolinas.

Fantastic as always, an abundance of FRESH fruit and vegetables, not like your Supermarkets. Good selection, personal service or in some cases self service, so you know what you are getting with even a chance to taste. We have been dealing with these stall holders for many years and will continue to do so, hopefully for many more.

A food lovers haven. Local produce of the highest quality. The upper level is dedicated to selling meat while the lower level is seafood and greens. Very reasonable prices on most lines, there are some top quality dry aged meats which are quite expensive, also some acorn fed pork which is an absolute must try.
Typical Spanish market with stalls surrounding a small market building. Fruit and veg looked good.
